Myron R. Ordway
EXETER - Myron R. Ordway, 86, of Lane Street, died Saturday, June 2, 2001, at Rockingham County Nursing Home, Brentwood, after a period of failing health.
He was born Dec. 10, 1914, in Hampstead, the son of the late Richard and Edna (Clark) Ordway, and had resided in Hampstead and Danville before moving to Exeter 30 years ago.
Mr. Ordway was a mechanic for most of his life with MacMotors in Manchester.
He was last employed by Wise Shoe Co. in Exeter.
The widower of Alice (George) Ordway, who died in 1976, he is survived by three daughters, Nancy Waleryszak of Exeter, Verna Morrison of Londonderry, and Wanda Morgan of Old Town, Fla.; one son, Roger Ordway of Chiefland, Fla.; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lorraine Smith of Haverhill, Mass., Ann Judkins of Conventry, Conn., and Harriet Johnson of Brockton, Mass.; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 14 Pine St., Exeter.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Daniel Weaver officiating.
Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Hampstead.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 10 Ferry St., Suite 419, Concord, NH 03301.
Tim H. Stanley
EXETER - Tim Heywood Stanley, 48, of Oak Street, died Friday, June 1, 2001, in Exeter Hospital after a sudden illness.
He was born May 6, 1953, in Exeter, the son of R. Heywood and Lucille (Varrill) Stanley of Exeter.
He was a graduate of Exeter High School and received his bachelor's degree in business from New Mexico State University.
He served with the Vista Program for three years and with the Peace Corps in South Africa.
Mr. Stanley was the commissioner of Exeter Housing for many years and was formerly employed by Phillips Exeter Academy.
He was a well known toy collector.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, John Stanley of Candia and David Stanley of Omaha, Neb.; one sister, Dena Stanley of Exeter; and two nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Brewitt Funeral Home, 14 Pine St., Exeter, with the Rev. Robert Thompson of Phillips Exeter Academy officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Exeter Housing, 277 Water St., Exeter, NH 03833 for their annual Christmas party.
Neal A. Wiggin
RAYMOND - Neal Albert Wiggin, 70, of 4 Feng Drive, died Thursday, May 31, 2001 at his home.
He was born in Conway, the son of Mark and Amber Wiggin.
He was a graduate of Kennett High School, Conway, received his bachelor's degree from Plymouth State College and his master's degree from the University of New Hampshire.
Mr. Wiggin retired from Seabrook Station after 17 years of service.
He was the training manager traveling to several nuclear plants to teach classes and was the featured speaker at several Mantag Instructor Workshops, sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Nuclear Training Group.
He had previously taught at North Woodstock High School, Spaulding High School, Barre Vt., Exeter High School, Winnacunnet High School, Greenwich (Conn.) High School and Timberlane High School.
He was the first principal of Conval High School, Peterborough, and later principal of Hopkinton High School, Contoocook.
On school vacations he worked for the Vermont State Highway department and later was a member of the Hampton Police Department.
He wrote two study guides for Dell Publishing Co. and articles for the Mathematics Teacher and the English Journal.
He also reviewed study modules for Robert Norton of Ohio State University.
While teaching at Winnacunnet High School he was awarded a John Hay Fellowship to Harvard University.
He was listed in the 1986-87 edition of Who's Who in he East and in the 1993-94 edition of Who's Who in the World.
He was a ham radio operator for 45 years. and enjoyed golfing and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Helene Harriman; one son, Dayle; two grandsons; three sisters, Ruth, Marion and Frances; three brothers, Arthur, Perley and Ralph; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held Monday in Lee Hill Cemetery, Lee.

Aphrodite H. Xiggoros
MANCHESTER - Aphrodite "Dite" Helen Xiggoros, 77, of Manchester and Hampton Beach, died Thursday, May 31, 2001, in a Boston hospital.
She was born April 15, 1924, in Manchester, the daughter of John and Sultana (Blehanis) Karagis and was a lifelong resident of Manchester and Hampton Beach.
She was a 1941 graduate of Manchester Central High School and served on the school reunion committee.
Mrs. Xiggoros was employed at the former Betty Ann's Market for 10 years until her retirement.
She had previously been employed at Pariseau's and the Manchester Hosiery Mills.
She was a charter member of the Manchester Policeman's Wives Association and the Daughters of Fourka and was active with the Manchester Republican Party.
She was a parishioner of St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
The widow of Manchester Police Department Captain Evangelos "Pat" Xiggoros, who died in 1982, she is survived by two sons, John E. Xiggoros and Gregory P. Xiggoros, both of Manchester; one grandson; and one sister, Effie Milne of Manchester.
She was predeceased by one granddaughter, Kristen E. Xiggoros; one sister, Irene J. Karagis; and one brother, Menelaos "Charlie" Karagis.
Funeral services were held Monday in St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral with the Rev. Michael Kouremetis, Dean of the Cathedral, officiating. Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Corinne M. Boucher
EPPING - Corinne "Pat" M. Boucher, 77, of Pleasant Street, died Monday, June 4, 2001, at her home after a lengthy illness.
She was born Nov. 6, 1923, in Beverly, Mass., the daughter of the late Joseph and Corinne (Thibeault) LeBel and had resided in Vero Beach, Fla., for 16 years, in Ipswich and Beverly, Mass., and in Epping for the past four years.
Mrs. Boucher owned and operated Hayes Music in Beverly for 13 years.
She enjoyed playing bingo, ceramics, yard sales and flea markets, reading and music.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Arthur Boucher of Epping; one daughter and her husband, Kathleen and James Menesale of Beverly; two grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; one stepdaughter and her husband, Evelyn and Clinton Lurvey of Milton; one stepson, Arthur G. Boucher of Boone, N.C.; two step-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday in St. Michael Church, Exeter. Burial was in Cowles Memorial Cemetery, Ipswich, Mass.

Valada M. Cote
EXETER - Valada M. (Couture) Cote, 85, of Camelot Drive, died Monday, June 4, 2001, at the Rockingham County Nursing Home, Brentwood, after a lengthy illness.
She was born Dec. 26, 1915, in Littleton, the daughter of the late Charles and Eva (Bruso) Couture and had resided in Exeter for more than 60 years.
Mrs. Cote was employed by Wise Shoe Co. for many years.
She was a communicant of St. Michael Church, Exeter, and a member of the Catholic Women's Club.
The widow of Ernest Cote, she is survived by one son, Wayne Cote of Exeter; one daughter, Andrea Dipinto of Amesbury, Mass.; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Bertha Hannaford of Kittery, Maine; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by four sisters, Vienna Barker, Lillian Cartmill, Mary Favour and Patricia Couture; and one brother, Maurice Couture.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 1 p.m. in St. Michael Church, Exeter.
Burial will follow in Exeter Cemetery, Exeter.

Ruth Daley
NEWFIELDS - Ruth "Tony" (White) Daley, 87, of Piscassic Road, died Monday, June 4, 2001, in Exeter Hospital after a period of failing health.
She was born March 7, 1914, in Newark, N.J., the daughter of James and Etta White, and had resided in Newfields for many years.
She was a graduate of Plymouth State College and studied music at Yale Summer School.
Mrs. Daley taught elementary school in Old Saybrook, Conn., Fremont, Kingston and at Pease Air Force Base, Newington.
She enjoyed playing the piano and her flower garden.
The widow of John J. Daley Sr., who died in 1980, she is survived by one daughter-in-law, Cora Daley of Newfields; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Thursday in the Kent & Pelczar Funeral Home, Newmarket. with the Rev. Robert Collinge officiating.
