ROBERT C. STIMSON
BEDFORD -- Robert C. Stimson, 65, died June 2, 2006, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack.
He was born Feb. 8, 1941, in Newton to the late Hascall T. and Edna (Carr) Stimson.
Mr. Stimson attended local schools and was a 1959 graduate of Pembroke Academy. After high school, he enlisted in the Navy, serving until 1963.
In 1996, he retired from the Public Service Co. of New Hampshire, where he had worked as a mechanic and welder for 28 years.
Mr. Simson was a long-standing member of the Bible Lodge in Goffstown and the Order of the Eastern Star. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, traveling, woodworking, snowmobiling and boating.
Family members include his wife, Mildred M. Stimson of Bedford; two daughters, Nancy Silva of Wilton and Barbara McCann of Weare; a son, James Stimson of Coloma, Miss.; six grandchildren; a sister, Jean Tuft of McKinney, Texas; and a brother, Boldizsar Szanto of Concord.

MAURICE R. BLAIS
BEDFORD -- Maurice R. Blais, 78, died May 29, 2006, at his home after a period of declining health.
He was born Feb. 4, 1928, in Goffstown, to Oscar and Desneiges (Bouchard) Blais. He was educated in Goffstown schools.
Mr. Blais was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
Prior to his retirement, he worked for HB Flemming and at E.D. Swett as a bridge foreman, Silver Bros. and Amoskeag Beverage.
He was also self-employed in foundation work. He enjoyed farming and raising pull Hereford cattle.
He was predeceased by his wife of 48 years, Claire (Bergeron) Blais, who died in 2003; two brothers, Julien and Victor Blais; and a sister, Rose St. Pierre.
Family members include three sons, Roland and his wife, Jane Blais, Maurice and his wife, Diana Blais, and Aime Blais and his wife, Julie, all of Bedford; eight grandchildren, Stephen, Craig, Holley, Nicole, Katelyn, Michelle, Brittany and Madisen Blais; four great-grandchildren, Brianna, Reilly, Andrew and Nicholas Blais; a brother, Leon Blais and his wife, Therese, of Laguna Woods, Calif.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

ALICE ELIZABETH FLINT
WEARE -- Alice Elizabeth Flint, 100, formerly of Buckley Road, died March 23, 2006, at the home of her sister in Scarborough, Maine.
She was born in Portland, Maine, to Frederick and Grace (Blake) Kerwin. She was a resident of Weare since 1969, previously living in Wakefield, Mass.
Mrs. Flint was a member of the Deering Community Church, where she was active with the Women’s Guild.
She was predeceased by Lawrence Waldo Flint, who died in 1981.
Family members include a son, Robert S. Flint of Hollis, Maine; three grandchildren, Robert S. Flint Jr., Ronald S. Flint and Laurie DeLuca; two stepgrandchildren, Sherry Berryman and Lisa Wishart; a sister, Janet Stanford and her husband, George, of Scarborough; three nieces, Brenda Harrison, Sandra Hartford and Linda Rogers; and four nephews, George Stanford Jr., Donald Kerwin, Tim Kerwin and Fred Fasulo.
Graveside services will take place Friday, June 9, at 1 p.m., in the Friends Cemetery on Thorndike Road in Weare.

HERBERT A. ROLLINS
GOFFSTOWN – Herbert A. Rollins Jr., 65, of Goffstown, died June 4, 2006, at Elliot Hospital in Manchester after a lengthy illness.
He was born April 26, 1941, in Medford, Mass., to Herbert A., Sr. and Iona H. (Stanley) Rollins. He lived in Goffstown for the past 34 years.
Mr. Rollins was employed as an iron worker with Zurback Steel Co. in Salem for more than 30 years prior to his retirement.
After retiring, he enjoyed doing small engine repair and, most of all, enjoyed time spent with family and friends.
Family members include his wife of 42 years, Linda D. Rollins of Goffstown; three sons, Robert W. Rollins of Weare, William A. Rollins of Goffstown and Daniel B. Rollins of Florida; a daughter, Kelly Ann Joyce of Deering; a brother, Stanley Rollins of Nashua; two sisters, Barbara Parentue of Warren and Ruth Brunault of Antrim; 11 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, greatnieces and great-nephews.

JOHN F. MASTON
MANCHESTER – Dr. John F. Maston, 78, formerly of Bedford, died May 27, 2006, at Catholic Medical Center.
He was born July 14, 1927, in Pawtucket, R.I., to Frank and Josephine (Kiwarciak) Maston.
He was raised in and attended school in Rhode Island. After high school, he enlisted in the Navy during World War II and served in the Army during the Korean War.
Dr. Maston graduate from Logan Chiropractic School in St. Louis, Mo. He married Jean Tomedolsky in 1957, and they moved to Bedford where he open his chiropractic practice.
In the early 1960s, he was elected to the New Hampshire state Legislature, where he served for several years. He was a member of Intervale Country Club. He enjoyed golf and being near the water, especially in Florida. Mr. Maston was a very devoted husband, caring for his late wife, Jean, through her illness.
He was predeceased by his wife, Jean Maston, who died in 1998; and his parents.
Family members include three daughters and a son, JoAnn Collupy and a husband, Robert, of Bedford, Jacqueline Scarpetti and her husband, Ken, of Manchester, Jonne Santoli of Missouri, and Jozef Maston of Naples, Fla.; six grandchildren, Kelly Collupy-Rice, Kevin Collupy, Joshua Santoli, Joseph Santoli, Jeno Santoli and Isabella Scarpetti; a great-grandchild, Andrew Rice; and a very close friend, Carol M. Van Uden.

ADRIENNE M. PERRY
GOFFSTOWN -- Adrienne M. (Duval) Perry, 82, of 1 Timberwood Drive, died June 3, 2006, at Catholic Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 18, 1923, in Manchester to Adrien and Alice (Vallee) Duval. She resided in Apollo Beach, Fla., for 15 years, five years in McEwen, Tenn., and returned to New Hampshire this year.
Until her retirement, Mrs. Perry was a buyer at Moreay’s Hardware Store for more than 35 years.
She was predeceased by three husbands, Lucien Paquette, Emmett Walsh and Robery Dunlap.
Family members include her husband of 22 years, Lorenze “Joe” Perry; three stepsons, Brent Perry of McEwen, Blake Perry of Manchester and Kevin Perry of Goffstown; a stepdaughter, Patricia Shepherd of McEwen; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; two brothers, Marcel Duval and Maurice Duval, both of Manchester; two sisters, Claire Bureau of Lady Lake, Fla., and Yvette Paquette of Manchester; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

OSCAR J. AUGER
ALLENSTOWN -- Oscar J. Auger, 86, a longtime Allenstown resident, died May 31, 2006, at the New Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton.
He was born April 4, 1920, in Manchester to Victor and Elodie (Houle) Auger. He spent most of his life in Allenstown, moving to the New Hampshire Veterans Home eight years ago.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Auger was employed by Pembroke Boats and later worked part time for the Concord Hospital.
A World War II Army veteran, he saw duty in the European Theater. He was one of the veterans from the New Hampshire Veterans Home to be recognized by the people of France for service in the liberation of France, which began with the Normandy Invasion. He was a life member and past commander of the Suncook Valley VFW Post No. 2860 and a member of American Legion Post No. 21 of Concord. Mr. Auger was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt.
He was predeceased by Irene D. (Come) Auger, who died in 1995; a son, James A. Auger, who died May 26 of this year; and a grandson, Albert St. Jean, who died in 1993.
Family members include a daughter, Judith (Mrs. Sherrill) Smas of Blacksburg, Va.; two sons, John Auger and Jeffrey Auger, both of Epsom; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.

HENRY J. HEBERT
GOFFSTOWN – Henry J. Hebert, 93, died June 3, 2006, at Catholic Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 23, 1913, in Goffstown to Laurent and Marie (Roberge) Hebert. He was a lifelong resident of the Pinardville section of Goffstown.
During World War II, Mr. Hebert served in the U.S. Army and saw active duty at Iwo Jima. He was a member of the Catholic War Veterans and the Disabled American Veterans.
He worked at Hebert Lumber Company in Goffstown for 50 years. He also worked at Leighton Machine Co. in Manchester for 10 years.
Mr. Hebert was predeceased by his wife, Hectoreine (Bourque) Hebert, who died May 8 of this year.
Family members include three children, Fran C. Mailloux of Laconia and Norman H. Hebert and Henry P. Hebert, both of Manchester; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and cousins, nieces and nephews.

RITA I. DALGETTY
MANCHESTER -- Rita I. Dalgetty, 82, of Bernard Street, died May 30, 2006, at home.
She was born in Manchester to Arthur and Lauretta ( Dubois) Baron. She resided in Goffstown for many years and returned to Manchester in 1951.
Mrs. Dalgetty enjoyed gardening and taking care of her home. She was active with the Salvation Army in Manchester.
She was predeceased by her husband, William F. Dalgetty Jr.; a son, William F. Dalgetty III; and a daughter, Donna Roode.
Family members include a daughter, Beverly Adkins of California; three grandchildren, Brad Dalgetty of Epsom, Timothy Roode of Pittsfield and Angela Roode of Allenstown; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul Baron of Nashua; and several nieces and nephews.

PATRICIA E. SPEAD
BEDFORD – Patricia E. (Welch) Spead, 55, died July 23, 2006, at home in her sleep after a lengthy illness.
She was born Dec. 5, 1950, in Hooksett to the late Frank and Florida (LaFond) Welch. She earned her undergraduate degree from Mount St. Mary College in Hooksett and her MBA from Babson College in Boston.
Mrs. Spead was the dean of admissions for several colleges, including Mount St. Mary College in Hooksett, Merrimack College in Merrimack and the University of the Pacific in Stockton, Calif. She was also special assistant for admissions at Daniel Webster College in Nashua and director of admissions at the Tilton School.
She was a member of both the New England and the American Association of College Registrars and Admissions Officers. In addition, Mrs. Spead was an instructor in management skills for women at seminars held throughout the United States.
She loved animals, reading, watching movies, gardening and visiting people. She was known for her friendly smile, quick wit, upbeat attitude and kindness. Prior to her illness, Mrs. Spead enjoyed fly fishing with her husband and father-in-law, as long as she fished and they paddled the canoe.
Family members include her husband of 16 years, Dr. Richard J. Spead of New Hampton; her dogs, Lilly and Buddy; her cat, Lola; and many great friends.
A memorial service will take place Sunday, Aug. 13, at 2 p.m., at the Spead family lot in Bayside Cemetery in Lincoln.
