ROBERT A. TRUDEAU
CONCORD – Robert A. Trudeau, 55, of Manchester, died March 18 at the Concord Hospice House, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on Jan. 15, 1951, in Manchester, to Albert U. and Doris R. (Armstrong) Trudeau. He was raised and educated in Goffstown.
Mr. Trudeau served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged. He worked for NYCOA Corporation in Manchester for 22 years.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He was an excellent billiard pool player, and had belonged to several leagues. He was a kind and loving man, who enjoyed spending time with his family. Mr. Trudeau was predeceased by his father, Albert U. Trudeau; and a brother, Steve D. Trudeau.
Family members include his mother, Doris R. Armstrong of Dunbarton; two sons, Michael Trudeau of Baltimore, Md., and Clint Trudeau of Hooksett; three brothers, Daniel V. Trudeau of Dania Beach, Fla., Rick R. Trudeau of Goffstown and Scott A. Trudeau of Manchester; a sisters-in-law, Anne M. Trudeau and Niece Jessica A. Trudeau of Goffstown; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and a dear friend, Debra Forest of Manchester.

GEORGE R. BELANGER
GOFFSTOWN – George R. Belanger Sr., 77, died March 15, 2006, at Manchester Veterans Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 1, 1928, in Manchester to George W. and Adeline (Roukey) Belanger. He attended schools in Manchester and Goffstown.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Belanger was employed with Hermsdorf Fixture Manufacturing for more than 37 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served during the Korean War.
Mr. Belanger was an avid outdoorsman who liked walking and hiking in the woods.
He was predeceased by a son, George R. Belanger Jr. Family members include his wife of 52 years, Dorothy May (Lazott) Belanger of Goffstown; two sons, Sergeant Major U.S. Army Bruce A. Belanger of Concord and CDR U.S. Navy Jeffery A. Belanger of Washington D.C.; a daughter, Janey L. Belanger of Pittsfield; three granddaughters, Korey Belanger and Melissa Belanger both of Washington D.C., and Shannon Belanger of Concord; and three grandsons, Alan Belanger and Andy Belanger of Concord and Nick Belanger of Pittsfield.

COSTAS MACRENARIS
MANCHESTER – Costas MacRenaris, 85, formerly of Candia, died March 14, 2006, at Catholic Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 16, 2006, in Tarpon Springs, Fla., to Peter and Leola (Barker) MacRenaris.
He moved to Warren, Mich., at a young age and was educated in the Warren school system. He lived in Manchester since 1945 and later moved to Candia in 1974.
Mr. MacRenaris was employed as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, retiring in 1982 after 28 years of service.
He was a lifetime member of Post 79 American Legion, a member of the American Legion Henry J. Sweeney Post 2, National Association of Letter Carriers, National Rifle Association and AARP.
Mr. MacRenaris was a member of St. George Orthodox Cathedra, where he was a member of the AHEPA Society.
He was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II.
Family members include three sons, Joseph MacRenaris and his wife, Mona, of Hollister, Calif., Grant MacRenaris and his wife, Denise of Manchester, and Gregory MacRenaris of Sparks, Nev.; a daughter, Charlene Lucas and her husband, Stephen, of Hooksett; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

ANITA BURPEE
GOFFSTOWN – Anita Burpee, 81, formerly of 211 Pattee Hill Road, died March 11, 2006, after a period of declining health.
She was born in Machias, Maine, to Raymond C. and Mildred (Bisbee) Mass. She was a graduate of Hamilton (Mass.) High School, Class of 1942, and Westbrook College, Class of 1944.
Mrs. Burpee was raised in Hanover, Mass., and resided in Goffstown for more than 50 years.
She was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Navy WAVES.
Mrs. Burpee was a member of Goffstown Historical Society, Goffstown Mothers Club and Goffstown Congregational Church, where she was a choir member.
She volunteered for March of Dimes, Girl Scouts and served as a tennis coach with Goffstown High School.
Mrs. Burpee was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Chandler Burpee Jr.
Family members include three daughters, Carol B. Manning of Manchester, Ann S. Burpee of Bedford, Texas, and Elizabeth B. Straw of Weare; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Carol Cox of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

LOVEDY IDA VOWLES
DAMARISCOTTA, Maine – Lovedy Ida Vowles, died March 16, 2006, after a brief illness.
She was born Aug. 20, 1923, in Bristol, England. She grew up in England during the war years.
She emigrated to this country in 1961 with her husband, John, and their three children.
Mr. Vowles loved sewing, cooking and sailing with her husband on the east and west coasts.
For many years she owned and operated Lovedy’s Florist and Country Store in Goffstown, N.H. She moved with her family to Damariscotta, Maine, seven years ago because she loved to be near the ocean. Her time spent here was very happy.
Mrs. Vowles was predeceased by her husband, E. John M. Vowles.
Family members include a sister, Lilian Britton of Bristol; sons, John Milton Vowles of Vermont and Stephen Milton Vowles of Nobleboro; a daughter, Jill Breta Milton Baum of Damariscotta; much loved daughters-in-law, Sally Vowles and Priscilla McCandless; grandchildren, Stephen Vowles and his wife, Devon Pyle-Vowles, of Chicago, Robert Vowles and his wife, Kathleen, of Hawaii and Jill Silva and her husband, Mike; a great-grandson, Morgan Park Silva of Cape Cod; Naomi Lovedy Baum of N.Y.; a nephew, Colin Britton and his wife, Cathy, and children Jonathan and Victoria of Freeport; and her large and loving family in England.
The family held a small, private gathering March 18 in Nobleboro to say farewell. They wish to thank the staff at Miles Memorial Hospital for their care and support of the whole family through this difficult time, and also the friends whose thoughtfulness made this time easier.

MURIEL L. HARVEY
BEDFORD – Muriel L. Harvey, 83, died March 15, 2006.
She was born Sept. 16, 1922, in Malden, Mass., to John and Eula (Gray) Loxton. She was a Bedford resident for many years.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Harvey was an executive secretary with New Hampshire Insurance Co. During World War II she was employed by Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Throughout her life, she devoted her time to children. She taught Sunday school, led youth groups and was a Girl Scout leader.
Mrs. Harvey was a lifetime member of the Easter Star organization and a longtime active member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Manchester.
She was predeceased by her husband, Carl L. Harvey; a sister; and four brothers.
Family members include a daughter, Linda Powers; a sonin- law, Charles Powers; three granddaughters, Rebecca Powers, Jennifer (Powers) Champagne and her husband, Matthew Chapagne and Cathryn Powers; and two great-grandchildren, Spencer and Allison.

JULIETTE M. PINARD
GOFFSTOWN – Juliette M. Pinard, 84, died March 16, 2006, at Hillsborough County Nursing Home in Goffstown.
She was born Oct. 24, 1921, in Manchester to Henry and Eva Preneveau. She a resident of Goffstown for the past 41 years. Mrs. Pinard worked at Hillsborough County Nursing Home as a certified nurse’s aide for 14 years.
Mrs Puglisi was predeceased by her daughter, Simone S. Puglisi in 1992; and two grandsons, Anthony “Tony” Puglisi and Daniel Puglisi.
Family members include her husband, Roger A. Pinard of Goffstown; a brother, Gerard Preneveau of Manchester; three sisters, Cecile Story, Lorraine Cote and Therese Beauregard, all of Manchester; grandsons, John Puglisi of Goffstown; great-grandson, Dylan Puglisi of Goffstown; and several nieces and nephews.

WILLIAM F. GUIFFRA
NEW BOSTON – William Frank “Guff” Guiffra, 58, died March 18, 2006, at his residence.
He was born in Portchester, N.Y., to William and Edna Guiffra.
He was a resident of New Boston for the past two years, previously living in Manchester.
Mr. Guiffra was a tractor trailer driver, most recently working with Cherokee Trucking of Rhode Island. Known for his gift of gab, his great joy in life was spending time with his family and many friends.
Family members include his wife, Genie Guiffra of New Boston; a son, Jason Guiffra of Manchester, two daughters, Samantha Guiffra of Lawrence Mass.; seven grandchildren; a brother, Jerry Guiffra of Bradenton, Fla.; and a sister, Sandra Biasetti of Bridgeport, Conn.

CAROLE J. CONNELL
MANCHESTER – Carole J. (Provost) Connell, 68, of Manchester died March 19, 2006 at Brigham and Woman’s Hospital in Boston, after a lengthy illness.
She was born March 1, 1938, in Lynn, Mass., to Joseph and Josephine (Nash) Provost. She grew up in Peabody, Mass.
Mrs. Connell lived in New Hampshire for many years in Laconia, New Hampton, Hooksett and Manchester. During that time she had worked as a teller at several banks.
Family members include her husband of 46 years, William C. Connell of Manchester; two sons, William J. Connell of Hooksett and Jonathan M. Connell of Manchester; two grandchildren; two sisters, Louise Guyotte of Meredith and Catherine Trojano of Hopkinton; and cousins, nieces and nephews.

ERIN LEIGH GRAVELINE
ALLENSTOWN – Erin Leigh Graveline, 25, of Riverside Park, died March 15, 2006.
She was born Nov. 10, 1980, in Concord to Dale R. and Susan E. (Walsh) Graveline.
A lifelong resident of Allenstown, she attended Pembroke Academy and the New Hampshire Vocational Technical College in Nashua. She was employed by Linens ‘N Things in Concord.
She was a natural athlete and was active in many sports, including softball, basketball and soccer. She also enjoyed summers at Moody Beach, Maine and Squam Lake.
She was predeceased by her two grandfathers, Charles H. Graveline and John M. Walsh.
In addition to her parents of Allenstown, family members include an infant son, Logan Tyler Graveline of Allenstown; a brother, Tyler J. Graveline of Allenstown; her two grandmothers, Anita C. Graveline of Harwich, Mass., and Mary L. Walsh of Derry; and aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
