William M. Kucharski
JACKSON, Miss. - William M. "Ski" Kucharski, 60, died Tuesday, Feb. 29, 2000, at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Born in Exeter, he was reared in Rye, and lived in the Cape Cod area before moving to Vicksburg, Miss., in 1985. He retired from the Army Corps of Engineers, Waterways Experiment Station. He assisted in the design and development of coastal and marine equipment while working at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, the Scripts Institute and other worldwide locations.
He was a veteran of the Navy and Coast Guard and served in the Merchant Marine. He was a member and president of Warren County Hunting and Fishing Club. He was a member of the Eagle Lake Volunteer Fire Department and served on the board of directors for Eagle Lake Water District.
He was a member and Sunday School teacher at Eagle Lake United Methodist Church, a member of the church of the Holy Trinity, Episcopal, and a member of the Army-Navy Club. He was also a 32nd-degree Mason of the Wareham Lodge.
He was the husband of Dr. Margaret B. "Peggy" Wright of Eagle Lake.
In Other survivors include five children, Michael Kucharski, Deann Kucharski and Matthew Kucharski, all of Wareham, Mass., Kimberly Wright Brooks of Shelby Township, Mass., and James "Chip" Wright of Vicksburg; his mother, Annie Lee Miles of Rye; two sisters, Marion Smith of S. Jonestown, Texas, and Pam Brown of Lawrence, Mass.; six grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and other relatives.

Paul E. Brewster
PALM BAY, Fla. - Paul E. Brewster, 80, of 725 Port Malabar Blvd. NE, died Thursday, March 9, 2000, in Melbourne, Fla.
Born in Pittsfield, N.H., he moved to Florida in 1977 from Rye.
He was a retired IRS agent and served 30 years in the Army, including time in the National Guard. He retired as a major having served in World War II.
He was a member of the Bektash Temple of Concord, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks in Melbourne, the Power Squadron in Portsmouth, and the Portsmouth Country Club.
He was the husband of Barbara Brewster, 71, of Palm Bay, for 53 years.
Other survivors include children, William Brewster of Warner Robbins, Ga., Elizabeth Emerson of Alton, N.H., Maryjane Brewster of Portsmouth, Charles Brewster of Rye, and Robert Brewster of Portsmouth; brothers Frank Brewster of Pittsfield, and Ralph Brewster of Somersworth; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his brother Carroll Brewster.
There will be a graveside service for family and friends this spring in Pittsfield.

Judith A. Perry
EVERETT, Mass. - Judith A. (Golden) Perry, 56, of Everett, formerly of Brookline, Dorchester and New Hampshire died Monday, March 6, 2000, after a brief illness.
Cherished mother of Elizabeth S. Perry and her husband James T. Doane of Milton and the late Regan J. Perry. Beloved daughter of Jane E. (Bishop) Russell and her husband Gaylord Russell of Epping, N.H., and the late Warren N. Golden. Devoted sister of Andy Block of Monroe, Maine, Lee Block of San Francisco, Calif., and Billy Block of the USS Safeguard of Sasebo, Japan. Dear grandmother of Zane Fitzgerald of Milton, Mass. Also lovingly survived by Ms. Rebecca Hemard of Revere; five nephews, one niece, two uncles and many wonderful friends.
Services and interment were private. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to CEDARCREST, 91 Maple Ave., Keene, NH 03431 (CEDARCREST is a pediatric nursing care facility, where Judy's late daughter Regan Jane was cared for until her death). The Vertuccio Home for Funerals of Revere assisted the family in completing arrangements.
Michael E. Wile Jr.
BETHEL - Michael E. Wile Jr., 15, of South Berwick, our beloved son, tragically died in a snowboarding accident on Saturday, March 11, 2000.
Born in Portsmouth on Dec. 13, 1984, he was a son of Michael F. and Lori (Buckman) Sr., and attended Marshwood High School.
He loved to skateboard, snowboard and music. He was a joy to be around and so full of life. He indeed touched the lives of everyone around him. We will miss you very much. Mikie as we called him, had many friends.
He is survived by his parents Lori and Mike Wile of South Berwick; two brothers, Eli and Travis Wile of South Berwick; a sister, Sarah Grace Wile of Berwick; grandparents, Dawn and Frank Stuart, Carole and Arnie Saklad, Edwin and Bridgette Buckman, and Henry and Rose Wile. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles, great-aunts and great-uncles, and many cousins.
Marion M. Correll
SANBORNVILLE - Marion Maud Correll, 84, of Saint Anthony Road in Sanbornville, died Sunday, March 12, 2000, at home.
Born May 9, 1915, in Portsmouth, she was the daughter of James and Flora (Mellon) Bopree. She was raised in Portsmouth and had lived there most of her life. She had resided in Sanbornville for 24 years.
A hairdresser, she had owned and operated Adrilene's Beauty Salon on Maplewood Avenue in Portsmouth.
She was a member of the Sanbornville United Methodist Church, a past president and Girl Scout leader for 15 years with the Girl Scouts of Portsmouth.
While her husband was in the Navy, they traveled all over the United States. She and her husband later enjoyed doing ceramics.
She was the wife of the late Fred C. Correll Sr. He died in 1991.
Survivors include her son, Fred C. Correll Jr. of Portsmouth; a daughter, Virginia L. Correll of Sanbornville; three grandchildren, Pattie Correll of Portsmouth, Rachael Correll of Portsmouth and William Correll of Dover; a sister, Leonore Bopree of Phoenix; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Bertha Perrault.
James F. Bogan Jr.
NEWMARKET - James F. Bogan Jr., 76, of Grant Road, died Friday, March 10, 2000, at Exeter Healthcare after a brief period of illness.
Born Dec. 14, 1923, in Dorchester, Mass., he was the son of James F. and Edith (Lee) Bogan. He lived in Newington for several years before moving to Newmarket in 1963.
A graduate of Greenville High School in Maryland, he then joined the Navy and attended numerous armed forces schools. He served in the Navy for 21 years, and then became a leading petty officer and a qualified ship handler before his retirement. He served in all theatres of World War II, in Korea and in Vietnam.
After leaving the Navy, he worked for three years at the Portsmouth Post Office, and then for 13 years he worked at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard as a rigger instructor. He had also been employed at Phillips Exeter Academy.
He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association, the Portsmouth Athenaeum, Shipyard Employees Association, and was on the board of directors for the Portsmouth-Kittery Armed Services Association.
He was active in the restoration of the Albacore, and was a former skipper of the Sea Scot Ship, Ranger, located in Portsmouth.
He was a 28-year member of the Robert G. Durgin American Legion Post No. 67 in Newmarket, as well as a member of the Newmarket Historical Society, Phillips Exeter Association and a life member of the Iron Workers Local No. 745.
He was the husband Margaret (Mattocks) Bogan of Newmarket for 57 years.
In addition to his wife, survivors include three sons, Joel F. Bogan of Barrington, N.H., James F. Bogan III and his wife, Reinette, of Newmarket, and Jonathan P. Bogan of Exeter; one daughter, Colleen "Bonnie" Hamre and her husband, John, of Baltimore, Md.; 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; one brother, Daniel Bogan of East Lebanon, Maine; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Sheila Lee Bogan Thomas, and a granddaughter, Karen Marie Humphrey.
Patricia Rodriguez
PORTSMOUTH - Funeral services for Mrs. Patricia Iris Colman (Kyle) Rodriguez, 72, of 229 Willard Ave., were held at the J. Verne Wood Funeral Home, Buckminster Chapel, Portsmouth, yesterday.
Cadet Lt. Scott Flanders and Major Jack Ryan, from the Salvation Army in Portsmouth, officiated.
Readings were given by Major Estelle Ryan.
On behalf of grandson, Wyatt Branford LaPage, and daughter, Georgina Kyle Rodriguez-LaPage, Cadet Lt. Scott Flanders spoke.
On behalf of grandson, Christian Tennyson LaPage and granddaughter, Nicole Kyle Nickerson, Major Estelle Ryan spoke.
Douglas Cals played the bagpipes.
Burial will be in Glebe Cemetery, Stranraer, Scotland.
James A. Callum
NEWMARKET - James A. Callum, 53, of Wade Farm, died Thursday, March 9, 2000, at his home.
Born Nov. 3, 1946, in Nashua, he was the son of Robert and Rita (Warrington) Callum. He had resided in Newmarket for 20 years.
He was staff sargent in the Army during Vietnam, serving in the Army from 1965-68 and from 1979-89. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Jim was a certified nurses' aid and was employed at Sunbridge of Portsmouth.
He is survived by his two children, Andrew Callum of Tacoma, WA, and Angela Dyer of Tagard, Oregon; two adopted children, Joshua and Rosa Callum, both of Newmarket; two brothers, Thomas Callum of Keene, N.H., and Robert Callum of Nashua; and a niece, Tatum Pacsay of Dublin, N.H.
Natalie H. Topiol
KITTERY - Natalie H. Topiol, 82, of 32 Boush St., died Saturday, March 11, 2000, at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.
Born Nov. 30, 1917, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Leroy S. and Blanche M. (Hutchinson) Hawkins.
A graduate of South Bend High School in South Bend, Ind., and Purdue University in Indiana, she taught English and coached debating in Portsmouth High School, and after further study at the University of New Hampshire, became a speech therapist and continued her career in the York school system.
She was a member of South Church in Portsmouth and the Portsmouth Great Books Club. In retirement, she participated in the Active Retirement Association program at the UNH.
She is survived by many friends and appreciative students.
Eileen L. Williamson
WILLIAMSON - Mrs. Eileen L. (Smithers) Williamson, of 104 Ocean Road, Portsmouth, widow of Lonell Williamson, died Friday, March 10, 2000, at her home. The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and her many friends for their kindness and generosity. Helen D. Grimes
PORTSMOUTH - Memorial services for Mrs. Helen D. "Doris" (Maloney) Grimes, 86, of Portsmouth, were held Friday from the J. Verne Wood Funeral Home, Buckminster Chapel, Portsmouth, with a Mass of Christian burial celebrated at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Portsmouth.
Monsignor Lawrence Burns, pastor, officiated. Dave Palumbo was acolyte. Judy Silverman was the soloist, and Maureen Scheehan was the organist.
In attendance were communicants of the church.
Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dover, with committal services by Monsignor Burns.
Francis C. Woods
PORTSMOUTH - Francis C. (UNKIE) Woods, 81, of 77 South St., died while visiting his niece Katherine LeClair, in Yuba City, Calif., on Thursday, March 9, 2000.
A native and former longtime resident of Epping, he was born July 27, 1918, in Epping, the son of the late John and Jenny (Clifford) Woods. He was a 1936 graduate of Epping High School.
In 1940, he went to work at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.
He entered the Army in 1942, seeing action with the European Theater, and was discharged in 1945. He returned to the Portsmouth Naval Hospital as a chef and was there for 33 years until it closed in 1975.
He purchased his home in Portsmouth and lived there for more than 40 years. In retirement, he enjoyed traveling from Portsmouth to California, visiting his many nieces and nephews. He was affectionately called UNKIE by his many relatives and friends in the area.
In addition to his niece, Katherine LeClair of California, survivors include three nephews, Edward Scully of Portsmouth, Bruce Scully of York, and Frank Scully of New Mexico; many grandnieces and grandnephews; and several cousins.
