Catherine Marie Tryder
FRYEBURG Catherine Marie Tryder, 71, of Highland Park in Fryeburg, died unexpectedly Friday, Sept. 10, 1999, at the Memorial Hospital in North Conway.
She was born in Boston, the daughter of Myles and Ann Lynch Tennihan. She graduated from Girls High School in Boston. In 1957, she moved to Maine, and for 25 years she was secretary for the superintendent of the Pittsfield Maine School Department. She was communicate of St. Agnes Church in Pittsfield. She moved to Fryeburg two years ago.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Charles L. Tryder Sr., of Fryeburg; one son, Charles L. Tryder Jr., of Fryeburg; three daughters, Karen Tryder, of Portland, Linda Coes, of Small Point, Maine, and Denise Porter, of Ipswich, Mass.; 13 grandchildren; and give great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours were yesterday at Wood Funeral Home in Fryeburg. A funeral mass will be celebrated today (Monday) at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church on Route 5 in Fryeburg, with the Rev. Robert Vaillancourt as the celebrant.
Thomas E. Dwyer
Thomas E. Dwyer, 62, of Madison, died at home on September 1, 1999. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., where he spent most of his life. He was a merchant seaman with Exxon, until his retirement.
His family includes a sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Richard Goodwin of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two nieces; two nephews; a great-niece; two great-nephews; and many cousins.
A memorial mass will be held on Sunday, September 19, 1999 at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, Brooklyn, N.Y.
Arrangements are by Lord Funeral Home of Wolfeboro and Center Ossipee.
Jules Capozzi
Jules Capozzi, 70, of Jackson, died on September 9, 1999 at his home. He was born in Hoboken, N.J., and lived in Ridgefield, N.J., and Garrison, N.Y., prior to moving to Jackson in 1991.
He had been superintendent of Electrical Construction and Design at the Grand Central Terminal in New York City.
His family includes his wife, Nancy J. Capozzi of Jackson; four sons, Jay Capozzi of Hackensack, N.J., Lee Capozzi and Dean Capozzi, both of Ridgefield, N.J., and Erik Elliott of Moscow, Pa.; four daughters, Penny Turner of Inverness, Calif., Laurie Colello of Lake Ariel, Pa., Ingrid Thomas of Stafford, Va., and Kirsten Cinquanta of Cold Spring, N.Y.; 15 grandchildren; 6 great-granchildren; and a sister, Anne Bena of Half Moon Bay, Calif.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Jackson Community Church in Jackson, with the Rev. Donald Graves officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Village Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours. Donations in Mr. Capozzi's memory may be made to the Jackson Fire Department, Jackson, NH 03846.

Stanley Bisbee Allard
Stanley Bisbee Allard, 82, of South Chatham, Mass., died September 3, 1999 at Liberty Commons in Chatham, Mass. He was born in Boston, in 1917.
Mr. Allard was a veteran of World War II, a graduate of Wentworth Institute, Boston, and a member of the Masons. He was a retired builder, and resided in South Chatham, Mass. for 40 years.
His family includes his sister, Betty Allard of South Chatham, Mass., and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Alice Lowd Allard.
A memorial service will be held at the South Chatham Community Church, Rt. 28, South Chatham, Mass., on Friday, September 10 at 2 p.m. A private burial will be held in North Conway at a later date.

John Edwin King
John Edwin King, 83, of Damariscotta, Maine, died Thursday, September 2, 1999 at his home. He was born September 24, 1915 in Worcester, Mass., the son of Clarence and Bessie Tenney King. He was a graduate of Boston University and was president of his class.
He worked in sales for over 20 years for the Bingham Brothers Company in Cambridge, Mass. He was a member of the Natick Lodge of Masons. He lived in Falmouth, Maine for 20 years, where he was president of the Lark Society String Quartet.
He owned a summer home in Center Chatham for many years. Since his retirement, he and his wife have traveled to many parts of the world.
His family includes his wife of 59 years, Blanche Hamilton King of Damariscotta, Maine; a son, D. Kenyon King of Center Chatham; a daughter, Joan Louise French of Colorado; and four grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 Sunday at the Center Chatham Cemetery with the Rev. George Westerberg officiating.
Arrangements are by the Wood Funeral Home in Fryeburg.
Tony Tillinghast
Tony Tillinghast, 30, of Center Conway, died on September 1, 1999. He was born in Lexington, Ky., and lived in New Jersey prior to moving to the Conway area.
He worked for Top Notch Property Management, and was a self-employed carpenter. For the past three years, he was a carpenter with Glen Builders. Mr. Tillinghast was also a member of the East Conway Fire Department, and an avid hockey fan.
His family includes his wife, Angela Holt Tillinghast; two daughters, Danielle and Lindsey Tillinghast; his parents, David C. and Janet A. Wallace Tillinghast; and his paternal grandmother, Iris Tillinghast, all of East Conway; a brother, Ty Tillinghast of Washington; two half-brothers, D. Lance Tillinghast of Barrington, and N. Adam Tillinghast of North Carolina; a half-sister, Dawn Marion of Lancaster; and several aunts, uncles, nephews and a niece.
A memorial service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Lee Deschaubeault's camp on East Conway Road. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Furber and White Funeral Home in North Conway.

Mildred E. Goodrich
Mildred E. Goodrich, 78, of North Conway, died November 3, 1999 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine, after a long illness. She was born in North Conway, August 29, 1921, the daughter of Irving and Mame Cook Eastman, and was a lifelong resident of the valley.
Mrs. Goodrich worked as a chambermaid at the Eastern Slope Inn and the White Trellis Motel in North Conway. She also worked in the home of the Bob Bell family, and prior to retirement, worked in the shipping department of the former Carroll Reed's for many years.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in North Conway.
Her family includes two daughters, Carolyn J. Munro of North Conway and Helen E. "Boomie" Hill of West Fryeburg, Maine; a son-in-law, Peter Munro of North Conway; ten grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; a nephew, Richard L. Eastman of North Conway; and two great-nieces.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles I. Goodrich, in 1947, and by two grandchildren, Suzanne Lynn Munro in 1963, and Walter C. Munro in 1992. She was also predeceased by her brother, Leon P. Eastman, in 1997.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in North Conway, with a graveside service to follow in the North Conway Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours.

Mary E. Moore
Mary E. Moore, 57, of Guilford, Maine, died November 2, 1999 at a Dexter, Maine health care facility. She was born March 26, 1942 in North Chatham, the daughter of Dean and Evangeline Dyer Charles.
She was a member of the Guilford Assembly of God Church, and worked for many years in the Lord's work.
Her family includes five sisters, Ruth Dyer of Abbott, Maine, Anita Buswell of Fryeburg, Doris Ela of Fryeburg, Norma DiPierro of South Portland, Maine, Sadie Day of Guilford, Maine; a brother, George Charles of North Fryeburg; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Guilford Assembly of God Church, with the Rev. Joseph Gioia officiating. Graveside committal services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Riverside Cemetery in North Fryeburg.
Donations in her memory, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the May Regional Hospital Ambulance Service, c/o Mayo Regional Hospital, West Main Street, Dover-Foxcroft, ME 04426. Arrangements are being handled by Crosby and Neal Funeral Home, Guilford, Maine.
