Harry F. Poper II
Harry Frederick Poper II, 61, of Sunland Drive, Hudson, died late Tuesday evening, Sept. 27, 2005 surrounded by his loving family.
He was the son of the late Harry Cecile and Eleanor Mae (Fillman) Poper.
Mr. Poper was the husband of Carol (Williamson) Poper of Hudson, with whom he would have celebrated his 27th wedding anniversary next week.
Mr. Poper received an Associates Degree from Daniel Webster College in Nashua as well as a B.A. from Franklin Pierce College from which he graduated in 1977.
Mr. Poper worked for many years in the electronics field for various companies in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
For the past few years Mr. Poper worked with his son at Poper’s Remodeling.
Mr. Poper enjoyed coaching his children’s little league, softball, and basketball teams and just recently finished coaching his grandson’s little league team.
He loved working with his hands and took great pride in his yard and pool.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, camping with his family and golfing.
One of his greatest joys was playing Santa for many years at various Veterans Administration functions as well as at the elementary schools in Hudson.
Mr. Poper will be remembered as a giver who was always helping others.
He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, having served three Tours of Duty.
He was a Life Member of the American Legion Hudson Post 48, Past State Commander, and currently held the position of State Judge Advocate.
He was also a member of the Post 48 Firing Squad and Honor Guard.
Besides his loving wife, survivors include: one son and a daughter-in-law, Sean Jason and Jessica Ann Poper of Hudson; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Laurie Jean and Richard Meade of Derry and Stacie Lynne and Paul Morse, Jr. of Adams, Massachusetts; a stepson, Phillip J. Kulingoski, Jr. of Westbrook, Maine; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Charles and Linda Poper of Limerick, Pennsylvania and James Poper of Royersford, Pennsylvania; a sister and a brother-in-law, Linda and Douglas Miller of Collegeville, Pennsylvania; 12 grandchildren, Tyler Kirane and Jonathan Kirane, Timothy Gile and Hannah Meade, all of Derry; Jessica Ellis, Jeffrey Ellis, Matthew Ellis, and Marie Ellis, all of Adams, Massachusetts; Cara Kulingoski of Nashua, Julia Kulingoski, Amanda Kulingoski and Peter Jordan, all of Westbrook, Maine; his in-laws, Lee W. and Raymond O. LaRoche of Hudson; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home in Hudson is in charge of arrangements.
Lena M. Bright
Lena M. Bright, 76, of Second Street in Hudson, died Thursday afternoon, September 1, 2005 at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, after a brief illness.
Mrs. Bright was born in York, Maine on September 3, 1928, daughter of the late Timothy F. and Laura J. (Winslow) Moulton.
A resident of Hudson for the past 43 years, she had previously made her home in York, Maine and later in San Diego, California for several years.
She was the wife of the late Lawrence Bright, who died in 1985.
Mrs. Bright was a homemaker to her family and also worked as a home healthcare companion.
Educated in Maine, Mrs. Bright was a graduate of York High School.
She held membership in the Main Street United Methodist Church of Nashua and was a member of The Audubon Society.
Members of her family include her son, Bruce A. Bright and his longtime companion, Tracy Staucik and her daughter, Kassandra, all of Hudson; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Katherine Moulton of York, Maine;, a sister, Ruth Lowell of Brownville, Maine; four nieces, Wendy Mracek of York, Maine, Deborah Flaherty of Kittery, Maine, Pamela Merrill and her husband, Fred, of Belmont, New Hampshire, and Roxens Myshrall of North Belmont, Maine; a nephew, Richard Lowell and his wife, Nancy of Rochester, New Hampshire); close friends Charles and Betty Rickey of Manchester, Beverly Parker of Nashua, Sandy Nadeau and Janet Bowden, both of Hudson.
A graveside Service will take place at First Parish cemetery in York, Maine, Saturday, September 10 at 11:00 a.m.
Friends wishing to express their sympathy may make donations in her memory to the Main Street United Methodist Church, 154 Main Street, Nashua, New Hampshire 03060.
Arrangements are in the care of the Farwell Funeral Service, 18 Lock Street, Nashua.
Michael W. Dumont
Michael W. Dumont, 47, of Rena Avenue, Hudson, died suddenly July 26, 2005 at the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, Nashua.
He was born in Alexandria, Virginia; he is the son of Lee Dumont (Posey) of Hudson and the late Raymond J. Dumont.
He was also preceded by a brother, Raymond “Butch” Dumont
Michael enjoyed a full life full of love and happiness.
He was in partnership with his brother, Donald, at MD Wallboard, Inc. in Hudson, New Hampshire.
He enjoyed family and friends and the freedom of a lifetime of motorcycling.
He loved to travel, camp, and also gather with his friends.
His greatest joy was spending time with his new granddaughter.
He loved his motorcycle and will be remembered as a loving father, son, companion, brother, and uncle, as well as a very hard worker who took very good care of his mother and fiancé.
He was also very fond of his dog, “Leo”.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his fiancé and best friend, Stephanie Forbes of Hudson; two daughters, Melissa Dumont and her significant other, Eric Thompson of Winchendon, Massachusetts, and Megan Dumont of Nashua; three brothers and their significant others, Daniel Dumont of Hudson, Peter Dumont and Rebecca Davidson of Laconia, Donald Dumont and Sarah Boilard of Hudson and of Nashua; four sisters and four brothers-in – law, Patricia and Craig Johnson of Hudson, Doris and Jay Dumont of Moultonboro, Angel and Paul Schilling of Hudson, and Tina and Paul Lukitsch of Hudson; also one very special granddaughter, Abigail Thompson, of Winchendon, Massachusetts; a sister-in-law, Dianne Dumont of Nashua, and 21 nieces and nephews, as well as 10 great nieces and great nephews, and many dear friends.
Services were held for Michael on July 25 and 26.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations may be made in Michael’s loving memory to the Christopher Reeves Paralysis Foundation, 500 Morris Avenue, Springfield, New Jersey 07081.

Mabel "Dolly" (Relation) Andrew
Mabel "Dolly" (Relation) Andrew, 94, of Windham, New Hampshire, died at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack on Sunday evening, October 2, 2005.
She was born in Ellenburg Depot, New York, on February 25, 1911, a daughter of the late Francis and Cora (Pelkey) Relation.
She was a resident of Windham since 1941, and previously resided in Nashua for 10 years and with her sister-in-law, Florence, in Hudson for three years.
Mrs. Andrew was the widow of Charles R. Andrew.
She was a homemaker.
She was educated in Nashua and Hudson.
Mrs. Andrew was a member of the Victory Baptist Church of Londonderry, New Hampshire.
She was predeceased by four brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include her sister-in-law, Florence Relation of Hudson; her brother-in-law, Clifford McCoy of Florida and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held at the Davis Funeral Home on October 5.
Burial followed immediately in Woodlawn cemetery, Nashua.

Eva M. Field
Eva Maria (Gagnon) Field, 92, a longtime Windham and Pelham resident, died Thursday evening, September 1, 2005 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Donald McAndrew in Nashua, where she has resided for several months.
Mrs. Field was born in Hudson on October 27, 1912, daughter of the late- Joseph C. and Maria (Ross) Gagnon.
She resided in Hudson during her youth, then in Pelham for a time and Windham for the past 66 years.
She was the wife of Francis H. Field, who died February 27, 1986.
Educated in Hudson, Mrs. Field attended Presentation of Mary Academy, and was a communicant of St. Patrick Church in Pelham for many years.
Mrs. Field loved caring for her family and enjoyed cooking-and gardening.
Mrs. Field was predeceased by a son, Roger G. Field; a grandson, Daniel F. McAndrew; five brothers, Arthur, Albert, Leo, Victor and William Gagnon and two sisters, Rose Morrissette and Bertha Campbell.
Members of her family include three sons and a daughter-in-law, George D. Field of Pelham, Louis G. and Marianne Field of Hooksett and Robert A. Field of Windham; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia A. and Donald McAndrew of Nashua; ten grandchildren, Gary and Kevin Field, Karen Simpson, Robin, Jeff, Scott, Robert, Debbie Lynn, and Donna Lee Field and Patrick McAndrew; six great-grandchildren; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Alex and Betty Gagnon of Hudson and Eli Gagnon of Nashua; also many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Patrick Church in Pelham on Wednesday; burial followed in Gibson cemetery.
