John Thomas
John Thomas, 82, of Salem, died Sunday, February 29, 2008, at the Parkland Medical Center in Derry.
He was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, grew up, and was educated in Andover, Massachusetts. He was the son of the late Jeroslaw and Amelia Tomascewski. He was a resident of Salem for the past 52 years.
Mr. Thomas owned and operated New England Ceramic Supply Company in Salem. He was a Navy veteran, serving during World War II. He enjoyed bowling, golf, and bird watching. He mostly enjoyed working around the home and gardening.
He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy (Ritchie) Thomas. He was also predeceased by a brother, Steve Tomaski.
He is survived by a daughter, Judy and her husband Michael Brown of Wrightsville, Pennsylvania, and a son, Mark Thomas of Salem,
A funeral service was held March 5 at the Douglas and Johnson Funeral Home in Salem; burial was in Pine Grove cemetery, Salem. Memorial contributions may be made to Adventa Hospice, 1 East Commons Drive, #33, Londonderry, NH 03053.
Patricia (Fox) Audet
Patricia (Fox) Audet, 62, of Sunland Drive, Hudson, died Thursday, August 21, 2003 at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua. She was born November 25, 1940 in Lawrence, MA, daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret (Frasier) Fox. Mrs. Audet was pre-deceased by her husband, Donald Raymond Audet, in July of 2002. She was a graduate of St, Mary's High School in Lawrence, Massachusetts.
For over 20 years Mrs. Audet and her husband were the owners of Gosselin's Pharmacy in Hudson. She enjoyed cooking and reading. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include: three sons and a daughter in law, Christopher and Pamela Audet of Nashua; Terence Audet of Hudson; Matthew Audet and his significant other, Tammy Palmer of Hudson; three daughters and three sons in law, Kerin and David Landry of Auburn, New Hampshire; Kelley and Michael Mack of Nashua; and Kathleen and Brian Soucy of Litchfield; two sisters, Gayle Caruso of Andover, Massachusetts; Colleen Moffett of Massachusetts; 8 grandchildren, Shannon Bellisle and Shawn Bellisle both of Auburn, New Hampshire; Daniel Morse, Meghan Morse, and James Mack, all of Nashua; Zachary Soucy and Kasey Soucy both of Litchfield; and Brianne Audet of Hudson; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family requests donations be made in Pat's loving memory to St. Joseph Hospital, ICU/ Hospice Center, 172 Kinsley St., Nashua, NH 03060. The Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Homes of Hudson and Nashua were in charge of arrangements.
Mary S. (LaTulippe) Batura
Mary S. (LaTulippe) Batura, 88, of Andrews Avenue, Hudson died Tuesday November 25, 2003 at St. Joseph Hospital.
She was born in Lancaster, New Hampshire on March 24, 1915 a daughter of the late John and Phoebe (Luther) LaTulippe. She was the widow of Stanislaus Batura who died April 15, 1993. She was pre-deceased by her first husband Clarence Latulippe who died September 7, 1961.
Mrs. Batura was a longtime resident of Hudson. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Hudson Post 5791 and a member of the Catholic Daughters. Mrs. Batura was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church.
Mrs. Batura is survived by: Two daughters and a son-in-law, Helen Richardson of Hudson and Sonjie and Arthur Thomas of Maui, Hawaii; one son and daughter-in-law; Roger and Rosita Lee Latulippe of Hudson; ten grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Also several nieces, nephews and cousins

Roland E. Bernard
Roland E. Bernard, 71, formerly of Nashua, New Hampshire died on June 10, 2003 at St. Joseph Hospital. Mr. Bernard was born in Nashua, on September 11, 1931, son of the late Dosthe: and Regina (Desmarais) Bernard. Most recently, he lived at the New Hampshire Veteran's Home in Tilton, and he had previously lived in the Veteran's Hospital in Manchester and on Fletcher Street in Nashua.
He was the widower of Rita (Morin) Bernard who died on September 9, 1999.
At various times, Mr. Bernard worked for many companies including Ferraflex/Compo, the former Greenridge Turkey Farm, the former Doehlas Greeting Card Company, and the former Sportwell Shoes.
Mr. Bernard loved people, made friends easily, and helped all whom he could. He was noted for often saying, "Cheer up, better days are coming." He was a sports enthusiast, especially Nashua High football in the 40's. He also enjoyed professional boxing and the Boston Red Sox.
During the Korean Conflict, he served in the US Army as an anti-aircraft gunner in the US Theater. In his early years, Mr. Bernard was an altar boy at St. Louis de Gonzague.
He attended St. Louis grammar and middle school and was a graduate of Nashua Senior High School class of 1950.
Mr. Bernard is predeceased by two brothers, Ernest Bernard and George "Jake" Bernard.
Survivors include: two sons and two daughters-in-law, Steven and Diane Bernard of Litchfield and Gary and Nancy Bernard of Nashua; 4 grandchildren, David Bernard, Rachel Bernard, Marie Bernard all of Litchfield, and Tyler Bernard of Nashua; three sisters, Lucille Hebert of Merrimack, Theresa Smith of North Carolina, and Irene Bathalon and her husband Roger of Norway, Maine; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Exire “Stella” (Cadorette) Bernard
Exire “Stella” (Cadorette) Bernard, 85 of Hudson and formerly of Raymond died Saturday, September 20, 2003, at Integrated Health Services in Derry.
Born May 16, 1918 in New Bedford, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late William and Emily (Delarose) Cadorette. Her husband Arthur E. Bernard and a daughter, Anita Girard, also predeceased her.
Mrs. Bernard was a past member of the Raymond Senior Citizens and an avid bowler.
Survivors include four sons and three daughters-in-law, Raymond and Linda Bernard of Beverly, Massachusetts, Norman and Vicke Bernard of Windham, Paul and Elaine Bernard of Danville and Dennis Bernard of Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. Also one daughter Carolyn Abbott of Hudson and a son-in-law, Paul Girard, of Hudson. As well as, 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Rita J. (Boucher) Bishop
Rita J. (Boucher) Bishop, 84, of Charles Street, Hudson, died Friday December 5, 2003 at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack.
She was born in Nashua on September 29, 1919 a daughter of the late Ernest and Berthe (Cormier) Bishop. She was the widow of David P. Bishop who died October 17, 1994.
Mrs. Bishop was a member of the Nashua Senior Center where she was a volunteer helper. She loved to travel. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Bishop had been employed by the International Paper Box Machine Co. She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church.
Mrs. Bishop is survived by: One son and daughter-in-law; David and Diana Bishop of Litchfield, two daughters and a son-in-law; Denise Gagnon of Manchester and Carol and Peter Pagan of Hudson, seven grandchildren; Keith Bishop, Kevin Bishop, Kelly Filter, Timothy Gagnon, Derek Gagnon, Heidi Lindbloom and Nathaniel Pagan, eleven great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law; Jane Boucher, Jean Boucher and Marjorie Boucher, all of Nashua. Also several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Leroy "Roy" S. Burke
Leroy "Roy" S, Burke, 69 of Paget Dr., Hudson, died Monday, November 03, 2003 at his residence surrounded by members of his loving family.
Mr. Burke was born on July 16, 1934 in Middleton, Massachusetts son of the late Everett and Ora (Chase) Burke.
Four brothers and two sisters predeceased him.
He was the husband of Mary (McCarthy) Burke to whom he had been married
for 50 years.
Mr. Burke was a resident of Hudson for 40 years.
He was a charter member and past president of the Hudson Kiwanis Club. He owned and operated LS Burke and Sons Painting Company in Hudson before working for Natgun Corp. of Wakefield, Massachusetts for 12 years.
He operated a horseback riding stable on Robinson Road in Hudson where for many years he kept and cared for over 20 animals.
Besides his wife, survivors include: two sons and two daughters-in-law, Jeffrey and Linda Burke of Citrus Heights, CA; Timothy and Janet Burke of Paulsbo, Washington; six daughters and five sons-in-law, Shelia and Robert Blackburn of Silverdale, Washington; Teresa and Ned Crowley of Londonderry; Kathleen and Robert Harris III of Citrus Heights, CA; Laura and William Montville of Hilliard, OH; Frances and Lenny Greenwood, of Derry; Susan Burke and her significant other, Richard LaBrie, of Hudson; Four brothers, Charles Burke, William Burke, Wesley Burke, and Joseph Burke; four sisters, Joann Stevens, Pat Raymond, Shirley Sutherland, and Dee Kerivan; seventeen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Donald O. Chabot
Donald O. Chabot, 69, of Robinson Road, Hudson died Monday, September 15, 2003 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua.
He was born in Nashua on February 4, 1934, a son of the late Theophutus and Laura (Lemelin) Chabot. He was the husband of Melanie (Dubois) Chabot.
Prior to his retirement, Grace Millworks and the Nashua Country Club had employed Mr. Chabot. Mr. Chabot was an avid bowler and was a driver for the American Cancer Society bringing patients to their appointments.
Besides his wife, Mr. Chabot is survived by: Three sons and two daughters-in-law, Harvey and Deborah Martel of Merrimack; Kevin and Karen Martel of Williamstown, NJ and Michael Chabot of Nashua. Two daughters: Debbie Oliveira of Lowell, MA and Valerie Niquette of Nashua. 7 grandchildren. One brother and sister-in-law: J. Paul and Cecile Chabot of Hollis. One sister, Theresa Denault of Milford. A good friend, Virginia Chabot of Nashua. Also several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Alice Rita Cloutier
Alice Rita Cloutier, 84 of Ferry St., Hudson, died Saturday August 9, 2003 at St. Joseph Hospital. Born August 10, 1918 in Lowell, MA she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Emma (Lacroix) Gagnon. She was the widow of George Cloutier and was pre-deceased in death by a grandson Brian Cloutier.
She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church. Before her retirement, she was employed at Sprague Electric. She was a past volunteer at St. Joseph Hospital as well as the Spartan Bingo Hall. She enjoyed playing bingo at the Spartans Hall and also enjoyed garden work. She was known to be a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Roberta Cloutier, of Hudson; one daughter and son-in-law, Constance and John Harris, of Freedom, New Hampshire; one sister, Jeannetta McGlaughlin, of Lexington, Massachusetts; Seven grandchildren, Eric Cloutier, of Maryland; Jody Cloutier, of Mass; Michael Holden, of Florida; Jerry Soucy, of Nashua; Wayne Saucy, of Hollis; Tim Saucy, and Wendy Soucy, both of Nashua; 6 great-grand children; several brothers and sisters in law, and many step great-grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Leah Connolly
Leah Connolly, 81, of Nesenkeag Drive, Litchfield, died August 22, 2003 at St. Joseph Hospital, Nashua.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Abraham and Frieda (Kutchinski) Cohen. She was the widow of William B. Connolly.
Mrs. Connolly had been employed by Addison-Wesley Publishing Co. of Reading Massachusetts until her retirement. Prior to moving to Litchfield she had lived in Deltona, Florida. Mrs. Connolly was an Army Wac during World War II.
Survivors include: Two sons and daughters-in-law, William and Linda Connolly of Nashua and Francis and Jeannette Connolly of Deltona, Florida; a daughter and son-in-law, Frieda and Paul Balmar of Litchfield; seven grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.
