Dorothy M. (Johnston) Tedder Fleming
Dorothy M. (Johnston) Tedder Fleming, 87, of Salem, died Saturday, September 8, 2007, at Pleasant Valley Nursing Center in Derry surrounded by her loving family. She had lived in Salem for almost 25 years.
Dorothy grew up and was educated in Brockton, Massachusetts. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crossword puzzles.
She was predeceased by her husbands John W. Tedder, Jr., and John Fleming, her sons Frank and Donald Tedder, her grandson John Tedder IV, and her siblings Charles and Raymond Johnston.
She is survived by a son, John “Jack” and his wife Marge Tedder of Salem; a sister, Florence Joyal of Arizona; seven grandchildren including Tracy and her husband James Wilder and Wendy and her husband Bobby MacCormack; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service was held Tuesday, September 11, at St. David’s Episcopal Church in Salem. Cremation will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 85 Astor Avenue, Norwood, MA 02062. The Douglas and Johnson Funeral Home in Salem was in charge of arrangements.
Scott Innes, Sr.
Scott Innes, Sr., 51; of Litchfield, died suddenly on September 10, 2007, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Nashua.
He was born on February 18, 1956, in Chelsea, Massachusetts, son of Joseph John II and Katherine (Young) Innes.
Scott was a graduate of Fall Mountain School is Charlestown, New Hampshire; he graduated in 1979 from the University of New Hampshire and later attended Franklin Pierce College where he received his law degree. Mr. Innes has been a Lawyer since 1982, and has been a partner at Ruddock and Innes in Bedford since 1990. He was a volunteer with the Red Cross for over 30 years and a member of the Red Cross Board for a number of years. His spirit of community service led him to stints on local boards in Litchfield including the Recreation Board, and years as a youth soccer coach.
His first love was his family and friends, and also teaching children soccer, working with children and parents as a Guardian Ad Litem, growing tomatoes, and spending quiet time in his garden, Frisbee, body-surfing at Hampton Beach, and watching the Red Sox, the Revolution and Patriots. Including friends and family in all these endeavors, only added to his joy.
Scott's Saturday nights were spent with his friends and family, playing cards, playing board games, reviewing the chances of the Red Sox, and catching up on the latest news of everyone's family. He loved to be surrounded by his family, his friends, and their children. He was a born teacher and never shied away from teaching a child to kick a soccer ball, throw a horse shoe, or roll a bocce ball.
Scott was predeceased by his father, John Joseph Innes.
Members of his family include his wife of 26 years, Robin (Revoir) Innes of Litchfield; one son, Scott Innes, Jr., of Litchfield; one daughter, Katy Innes of Litchfield; his mother Katherine (Young) Innes, of Charlestown; two brothers, Joseph John Innes III and his wife Ruth of Gaithersburg, Maryland, and Kevin Michael Innes and his partner Vincent Andrews of Randolph, Massachusetts; one sister, Lorraine Moore and her husband Dennis of Newton; a niece, Amanda Innes, and a nephew, Joey Innes; as well as several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 14, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Zis-Sweeney Funeral Home, 26 Kinsley Street, Nashua. A service will follow 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in Scott’s name to the Litchfield Youth Soccer League, c/o 45 Garden Drive, Litchfield, NH 03052.
Albert J. Jenkins
Albert J. Jenkins, 77, of Salem, died Tuesday, September 4, 2007, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack. He had lived in Salem for 48 years.
Albert was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, the son of the late Hazel (Raymond) and Albert J. Jenkins, Sr. He served his country in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War. Albert worked as a Tool Designer for Avco Corp. for 34 years in Wilmington and Lowell, Massachusetts.
Albert had a love for the ocean, fishing, music, and films. He was a charter member of the Derry-Salem Elks.
He was predeceased by his daughter Kathleen Rose Jenkins.
He is survived by two daughters, Margaret Spencer of Newburyport, Massachusetts, and Mary Gifford of Salem; a brother, Robert St. Cyr of Colorado; and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 7, 10:30 a.m., at Mary Queen of Peace Church in Salem. Burial will follow in Pine Grove cemetery. Sheila Kelly
Sheila Theresa Kelly, 59, of Nashua, died Wednesday, September 5, 2007, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born November 26, 1947, in Rockland, Massachusetts, daughter of the late William J. and Florence (Dwyer) Kelly.
Sheila was the wife of Thomas J. Kelly of Nashua with whom she shared 37 years of marriage.
For many years Sheila was a Guardian ad Litem with the State of New Hamphsire at the District Court and the Superior Court. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, bingo, and gardening.
Besides her loving husband survivors include three sons, Kirk Kelly, James Kelly, and Steven Kelly, all of Nashua; two brothers, William Kelly of Maine and Joe Conley of Texas.
A Mass was held in St. Patrick Church with burial in St. Patrick cemetery. The Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home in Hudson was in charge of arrangements.
Beatrice M. (Tremblay) Laycock
Beatrice M. (Tremblay) Laycock, 77, of Salem, died Thursday, September 6, 2007, at Salemhaven Nursing Home in Salem. She had been a resident of Salem for 46 years.
Beatrice was born and educated in Lawrence, Massachusetts, graduating from Lawrence High School then from McIntosh Business School. Beatrice played the violin and piano and played with the Boston Junior Symphony. She also enjoyed singing, dancing, and traveling. Beatrice was a member of St. Joseph Church in Salem.
Beatrice enjoyed politics and was a two-term State Representative and Supervisor of the Checklist. She was a campaign chairman for many politicians including Jimmy Carter.
She is survived by husband William Laycock of Salem; sons Thomas Laycock and his companion Mary Beth Cleaver of Derry, and William and his wife Brenda Laycock of Sandown; daughters, Carol and her husband Todd Lyons of Salem, and Joyce and her husband William Burns of Salem; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass was held Tuesday, September 11, at St. Joseph Church in Salem; burial followed in Pine Grove cemetery. Diane Muriel (Chapdelaine) Leclerc
Diane (Chapdelaine) Leclerc, 48, of Hudson, died Thursday, September 6, 2007, at her home following a brave and courageous 163 day battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Diane was born March 10, 1959, in Manchester, daughter of Robert A. J. Chapdelaine of Worcester, Massachusetts, and Ruth (Dery) Chapdelaine of Merrimack.
She was the wife of Larry Leclerc of Hudson with whom she had shared 29 years of marriage.
Diane was a graduate of Alvirne High School, class of 1977. She was employed by Hannaford Brothers for over 20 years, with much of that time between the Goffstown, Bedford, and Hudson locations.
She loved palm trees and enjoyed trips to Foxwoods. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother and wife.
Besides her loving husband survivors include two sons, Lee Robert Leclerc and Mike Lee Leclerc both of Hudson; a brother and sister-in-law, AJ and Anna Chapdelaine of Las Vegas, Nevada; two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Susan and Raymond Guay of Hooksett, and Renee and Mark Whitten of Nashua; also her father-in-law, Leo Leclerc of Hudson; as well as four additional sisters-in-law and three additional brothers-in-law.
Visiting Hours and Prayer Service were held earlier this week in the Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home in Hudson.
Rhona L. (Deagle) Lennerton
Rhona L. (Deagle) Lennerton, 68, of Salem, died Friday, September 7, 2007, at Hackett Hill Healthcare in Manchester surrounded by her loving family.
Rhona grew up and was educated in Waltham, Massachusetts. She graduated from Kathryn Gibbs College in Boston, Massachusetts. Rhona had lived in Salem for almost 40 years. She worked as an Insurance Agent for State Farm Insurance in Salem.
Rhona enjoyed knitting, stitchery, and quilting and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Alan L. Lennerton.
She is survived by a son, Brett Lennerton and his wife Shannon of Salem; a daughter, Tracy and her husband Wayne DeLuca of Salem; a sister, Lynne Lynch of Chelmsford, Massachusetts; grandchildren, Payton, Alexander, Jacob, Rylee and Lucas; and nieces, Natasha and Alexa.
A Funeral Service was held Wednesday, September 12 at Douglas and Johnson Funeral Home in Salem. Cremation will follow.
James B. McCarron
James B. McCarron, 80, beloved husband to Julia K. McCarron (McCarthy) of Litchfield, died August 25, 2007. He was born December 1, 1926, in Brewer, Maine, to Timothy R. McCarron and Mary E. McCarron (Long). He married
Julia K. McCarthy on November 15, 1947. Mr. McCarron graduated from John Bapst High School, Bangor, Maine, in 1947 where he was active in all sports. He entered the U.S. Army in 1944, was a veteran of World War II, and served in Austria. He graduated from Mantor Hall Preparatory School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Wentworth Institute in 1952. Mr. McCarron retired in 1992 from Silent Watchman and National Guardian as regional general manager for many years. While residing in Billerica, Massachusetts for 40 years, he was active as a Little League Coach and Officer, Pop Warner Football Coach, and a member of the Billerica Knights of Columbus and the Irish American Club. In his youth, he was an avid baseball, basketball, and football player. Mr. McCarron was a lifetime fan of the Boston Red Sox and was rewarded for his loyalty in 2004. He was also a long-time fan of the New England Patriots and Boston Celtics. His greatest past times were jogging, gardening, and carpentry. Mr. McCarron was also a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Litchfield.
He is survived by his wife, Julia, of 59 years, and children Mary Ellen McCarron, Michael McCarron and wife Vicki, Julie MacIntosh and husband Edwin, Brian McCarron and wife Gail, 11 grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, August 30, in St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Litchfield; burial followed in the Holy Cross cemetery, Gilcreast Road, Londonderry. Memorial donations may be made in his name to Souhegan Home and Hospice Care, 24 North River Road, Milford, NH 03055. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium in Londonderry.
Robert McWilliams
Robert Allen McWilliams, 59, of Hudson, died August 21, 2007, at his home in Hudson.
He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on March 28, 1948, son of the late Richard and Mary (Austin) McWilliams. He was also predeceased by two brothers, Francis McWilliams and Daniel McWilliams.
Robert served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War and was the recipient of the Purple Heart. He was currently employed by Shawsheen Valley Vocational School in Billerica, Massachusetts.
Robert is survived by three brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Josephine McWilliams of Malden, Massachusetts, Gerald and Beverly McWilliams, and Laurence and Jan McWilliams, all of Revere, Massachusetts; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Marie and Thomas Farley and Jean and Ernest Torgersen, all of East Boston, Massachusetts.

Thomas O. Morrow III
Thomas O. Morrow III, 64, died Sunday, August 26, at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Massachusetts.
He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he grew up and attended schools. He was a resident of Salem for the past 30 years.
Mr. Morrow was the operations manager for Canobie Lake Park in Salem, where he worked for many years. He was past president of the Salem Exchange Club and the New England Association of Amusement Park and Attractions. He was very active with Dollars for Scholars in Salem, was one of the founding members of the Field of Dreams Park in Salem, and was involved with the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions. Gov. Lynch had recently appointed Mr. Morrow to the New Hampshire Amusement Advisory Board.
Mr. Morrow is survived by a son, Gregory and his wife, Megan Morrow of Rossville, Georgia; daughter, Shannon and her husband Scott Santandrea of San Francisco, California; his sister, Linda Mitchell of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; nieces, Amanda and Lauren Mitchell of Philadelphia; close family friends, E. J. Jackson-Cole and her daughter Alexandra Cole of Salem and William Curran of Salem.
Funeral services will be private for the family. Burial will take place in Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville, Pennsylvania. A Celebration of Life Service took place Thursday, August 30, at Canobie Lake Park in Salem. Memorial contributions may be made to Dollars for Scholars in memory of Thomas O. Morrow, Jr., P.O. Dorothy Munton
Dorothy Munton, 85, of Hudson, died Wednesday, September 5, 2007, at Fairview Nursing Home in Hudson.
She was born February 15, 1922, in Nashua, daughter of the late Alexander and Kathleen (Crewe) Manton. She was also predeceased by a brother, Alexander V. Munton.
Dorothy graduated from Nashua High School in 1941 and later was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse in the states of New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maryland. She was employed by the former Memorial Hospital in Nashua, several Boston area hospitals, as well as at Johns Hopkins in Maryland.
She took a leave of absence from nursing to own and operate a gift shop in Hudson called “The Reindeer Shop.” She later returned to nursing and retired as the Head Floor Nurse in Pediatrics for St. Joseph’s Hospital in Nashua.
Dorothy was an avid skier, an artist, and loved to travel.
Her loving family includes one sister, Kathleen McCormick of Weathersfield, Vermont; a brother, John P. Munton of Bellevue, Washington; as well as several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 8, 10 a.m., in St. John the Evangelist Church, 25 Library Street in Hudson. All may meet at Church. Burial will be in St. Patrick cemetery, Hudson. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater New Hampshire Chapter, 10 Ferry Street, Suite 427B, Concord, NH 03301.
