Florian ‘Gus’ R. Bosse
Florian “Gus” R. Bosse, 79, of Katherine Court, Hudson, and formerly of Lantern Lane, Nashua, died Thursday, August 31 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry.
Mr. Bosse was born in Manchester on January 14, 1927, a son of the late Desire and Florida (Goupil) Bosse. He is the husband of Clara M. (Stebbins) Bosse of Hudson.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Bosse had employed by Anheuser – Busch, Inc. He was a member of the Loyal Club, the Lafayette Club, and the Nashua Senior Center. Mr. Bosse was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church. He was predeceased by a brother, Gerard Bosse and a sister, Marie Clement.
Besides his wife, Mr. Bosse is survived by three step-daughters, Katherine Johnson of Lowell, Massachusetts, Beatrice Cooper of Little Falls, New Jersey, and Pauline Moreau of Manchester; seven step-grandchildren and ten step-great grandchildren; also several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, September 5 at St. John the Evangelist Church; burial followed at St. Louis cemetery. The family requests donations in his name be made to Home Health and Hospice, 22 Prospect Street, Nashua, NH 03060. The Anctil-Rochette and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Richard R. Rioux
Richard R. Rioux, 52, of Clark Road, Nashua, died Monday August 28, 2006 at St. Joseph Hospital.
Mr. Rioux was born in Nashua on February 12, 1954, a son of the late Roland I. and Jeannette (Jayal) Rioux. He was the husband of Cynthia M. (Pitarys) Rioux of Nashua.
Mr. Rioux was a lifelong resident of Nashua and was educated in local schools and was a 1972 graduate of Bishop Guertin. He was a co-owner of True-Value Hardware in Hudson. Mr. Rioux was a founding member of the Infant Jesus School Board, past vice-president of the Infant Jesus Parish Council, and a member of the Infant Jesus Finance Committee.
Besides his wife of 29 years, Mr. Rioux is survived by two sons; Nicholas R. Rioux of Arlington, Massachusetts and Gregory R. Rioux and his fiancée Alexandra V. Garcia of Nashua; one uncle and two aunts, Raymond and Gertrude Joyal of Naples, Florida, and Rolande Soucy of Nashua; his mother-in-law, Julia Pitarys of Nashua, and several cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, August 31, at Infant Jesus Church. Burial followed in St. Louis cemetery. The family requests donations be made in his memory to the NH Association for the Blind, 25 Walker Street, Concord, NH 03301-9977. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Anctil - Rochette & Son Funeral Home.
Shirley Ann (Plynkofsky) Campolieto
Shirley Ann (Plynkofsky) Campolieto of Fairfax, Virginia beloved mother of Beth Marhanka and her husband Dale died on June 30, 2006.
She is also survived by her mother Mildred Plynkofsky, her sisters Patricia Verry and Cynthya Pynn, her grandchildren, Zachary and Megan Marhanka. She was preceded in death by her father Adam Peter Plynkofsky and William and George S. Stevens and Roland Boucher her uncles.
Surviving are Aunts Lucille Boucher and Evelyn Poulin and her husband Robert, and several cousins.
She graduated from Alvirne in 1963 and took the Civil Service test and went to Washington D.C. got into the White House and worked for four President’s wives until Clinton was elected and left and went to work for the County of Arlington until her death.
A memorial service was held at the Everly Funeral Home in Fairfax, Virginia on July 10. Rita T. (Atkins) Dubowik
Rita T. (Atkins) Dubowik, a longtime Hudson resident, died Wednesday afternoon, August 9, at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua.
Mrs. Dubowik was born in Brockton, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Anthony and Beatrice (Jasas) Atkins. She moved to Hudson as a young girl where her family owned and operated "The Brick House" catering and function hall, located on the corner of the Old Derry Road, where many weddings and special occasions were held.
She was the wife of the late Peter Dubowik, whom she married
in 1952. They shared 40 years of marriage before his death on September 14, 1992.
During her lifetime, Mrs. Dubowik served as an officer in various capacities at the former First National Bank, Indian Head National Bank, and Fleet Bank, for 35 years, until her retirement.
Educated in local schools, Mrs. Dubowik graduated from Nashua High School, Class of 1945. She was an active communicant of the former St. Casmir Lithuanian Church in Nashua, where she taught kindergarten, was a member of the Ladies Guild and Couples Club, and served as a bookkeeper and finance officer. After the closing of St. Casmir Church, Mrs. Dubowik became a communicant of St. Patrick Parish in Nashua, where she was a member of the finance committee.
Active in many civic organizations, Mrs. Dubowik volunteered at St. Joseph's Hospital and was a member of SAGE. She was well recognized in the Hudson Lioness Club and the Nottingham West Lions Club, where she served as treasurer for many years beginning in 1987 and as president in 1990 to 1991. Mrs. Dubowik was recognized as a lifetime member of the Hudson Nottingham West Lions Club. She was awarded the prestigious Melvin Jones Fellow Award for dedicated humanitarian services. While she was a Lioness, Mrs. Dubowik visited the various Hudson schools, providing the eye screening for the children.
Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Rose Atkins and a grandson, Adam Dubowik. Members of her family include a daughter and son-in-law, Rosemary E. and Jeffrey Burk of South Boston, Massachusetts; two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul P. and Therese Dubowik, and Daniel A. and Judy Dubowik, all of Hudson; eleven grandchildren, Beverly (Burk) Dunn and her husband Joseph of Hyannis, Massachusetts, Michael and David Burk of South Boston; Anthony, Timothy, Danielle, Audrey, Jake, Ben, Paula and Brian Dubowik, all of Hudson; also nieces, nephews and cousins. The Farwell Funeral Service in Nashua was in charge of arrangements.

Robert Paul Dumont
Robert Paul Dumont, 57, died Thursday, August 10, 2006, at his residence in Hudson.
Mr. Dumont was born on November 16, 1948, in Hyannis, Massachusetts, son of the late Paul Eugene and Catherine Mary (Cairns) Dumont.
Robert was the husband of Wendy (Chamberlain) Dumont of Hudson, and together shared 29 loving years of marriage together.
Robert served in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam Era and was stationed in the Azores Islands off the coast of Portugal.
Mr. Dumont was a member of the Letter Carrier’s Union and for 20 was a letter carrier for the U. S. Post Office in Lowell, Massachusetts. During that time, Robert made many friends in the post office and along his various mail routes.
Robert could be best described as a hardworking and dedicated father and husband. He had numerous interests including traveling, especially on the open sea aboard the Windjammer, photography, music, cooking, making his own delicious ice creams, and was considered a Mr. Fixit who could fix just about anything.
Besides his loving wife, Wendy, Robert is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey Paul and Kimberly Dumont of Claremont, New Hampshire; a daughter and a son-in-law, Melissa Elizabeth and Scott Found of Claremont, New Hampshire; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Ronald and Marybeth Dumont of Unadilla, New York, and David Dumont of Hyannis, Massachusetts; three sisters and three brothers-in-law, Paula and Dennis Clark of Marstons Mills, Massachusetts, Patricia and Robert Levine of Centerville, Massachusetts, and Chrisann and Chris Rogers of Hyannis, Massachusetts; a mother-in-law, Elizabeth Malo of Nashua; one very special granddaughter, Maggie Susanne Dumont of Claremont, New Hampshire; several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and many great friends Robert made along the way.
Services were held on Monday, August 14. Luther ‘Tex’ Paulk
Luther “Tex” Paulk, 78, of Hudson died Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born January 13, 1928 in Marietta, Oklahoma, son of the late C. E. and Nora (Claxton) Paulk.
Tex was the husband of Barbara (Homer) Paulk of Hudson, with whom he shared 57 loving years of marriage.
He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and was stationed at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Tex previously owned and operated Tex and Son’s Engine in Woburn, Massachusetts, for 27 years. He loved reading and discussing history, as well as gardening. Tex was also an avid fisherman, whose greatest joy was fishing with his sons and grandsons.
Besides his loving wife, survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Mary Paulk of Brighton, Massachusetts, and Thomas and Eileen Paulk of Winchester, Massachusetts. A daughter and a son-in-law, Barbara and Kenneth MacIntosh of Hudson, seven grandchildren, Kerri Jeknavorian of Pelham, Ken MacIntosh, Jr., of Hudson, Timothy MacIntosh of Derry, Jeffrey Paulk of Haverhill, Massachusetts, Greg Paulk of Winchester, Massachusetts, Elizabeth Paulk and Kim Paulk, both of Brighton, Massachusetts. Two great granddaughters, Madison Jeknavorian and Emily Jeknavorian, both of Pelham; two brothers, Clarence Balthrop and Thomas Balthrop, both of Texas; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Remembrance Service was held Wednesday evening at the Dumont - Sullivan Funeral Home in Hudson. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Luther’s loving memory to the Arthritis Foundation, New Hampshire Chapter, PO Box 369, Concord, NH 03301.

Gerald ‘Goumba’ Abbott
Gerald “Goumba” Abbott, 53, of Hudson, died Monday, July 24 at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester.
Gerald was born on July 16, 195, in Nashua, son of the late William H. and Pauline (Pelkey) Abbott.
Mr. Abbott served in the Navy during the Vietnam Era and was a life member of the American Legion, Post 48 in Hudson. While being active with the American Legion in Hudson, he was a third generation commander and a 26-year member of the Firing Squad.
Gerald had many interests including cooking, playing cards, playing pool, and NASCAR races.
Gerald is survived by a son, Allen Abbott of Woburn, Massachusetts; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Thomas Abbott of Hudson, William and Sharon Abbott of Litchfield, James and Susan Abbott of North Carolina, and Michael Abbott of Hudson; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Gail and Ralph Owens of California, Paula and Donald Drouin of Tilton, New Hampshire, and Donna Abbott of Hudson; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 5 at 11:00 a.m. at the home of Donna Abbott, 5 Iris Path in Hudson. All are invited to attend. Pauline L. (Tetreault) Bernier
Pauline L. (Tetreault) Bernier, 65, of Hudson, died Saturday, July 29 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack.
Mrs. Bernier was born in Nashua on July 1, 1941, a daughter of the late Paulde and Beatrice (Desmarais) Tetreault. She was the wife of Richard Bernier of Hudson.
Mrs. Bernier was a longtime resident of Hudson and was a graduate of St. Louis High School. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Bernier had been employed by the Nashua School Department, Nashua Motor Express, and the former Johns-Manville Corporation. She was a lifelong member of the Hannah Dustin Quilt Guild. Mrs. Bernier loved to travel. She was a communicant of St. Kathryn Church.
Besides her beloved husband of 47 years, Mrs. Bernier is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Steve Draper of Nashua; one son and daughter-in-law, Richard, Jr. and Martha Bernier of Nashua; four grandchildren, Stephanie, Michael, James, and Danielle; two great grandchildren, Bryan and Elena; two sisters and a brother–in-law; Lucille and Warren Chick of Englewood, Colorado, and Rachel Ouellette of Concord, California; also several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Katherine (Blaesi) Grego
Katherine (Blaesi) Grego, 79, of Hudson and formerly of Long Island, New York, died Monday, July 31, 2006 at the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua.
She was born May 31, 1927 in South Floral Park, New York, daughter of the late Martin and Susanna (Lackey) Blaesi.
Katherine was predeceased by her husband, Walter J. Grego Jr., in 1974. She was also predeceased by two brothers and two sisters.
She moved to New Hampshire from Long Island in 2001.
Mrs. Grego was first and foremost a loving mother. She enjoyed doing housework, especially washing and folding laundry. She was considered a gourmet cook by her family and was an avid gardener and bowler. Katherine also enjoyed working out with weights and swimming.
Survivors include a son and a daughter-in-law, Paul and Kristine Grego of Willow Street, Pennsylvania; two daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine K. and Alan R. Douglas of Huntington Station, New York, and Gail G. and Kevin Migliozzi of Windham; seven grandchildren, Samantha Douglas of Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, Philip Douglas of Huntington Station, New York, Jesse Douglas of Brooklyn, New York, Kevin Grego of Charlotte, North Carolina, John Grego and Eryn Grego, both of Willow Street, Pennsylvania, and Gregory Migliozzi of Windham.
A Graveside Service will take place on Friday, August 4 in the cemetery of the Holy Rood, Westbury, New York. June Pauline (Allen) Chabot
June Pauline (Allen) Chabot, 71, of Hollis, New Hampshire and previously of Nashua, died at the Community Hospice House on Sunday evening, July 23, 2006.
She was born in Nashua on October 22, 1934, a daughter of the late Howard M. and June M. (Neill) Allen. She had been a long time resident of Hollis, prior to which she had lived in Nashua.
Mrs. Chabot was the widow of Fernand F. Chabot, who died on August 25, 1994.
Mrs. Chabot was a homemaker, who enjoyed spending time with her family. At one time she was employed at the former Doehla’s Greeting Cards in Nashua and also Memorial Hospital (now Southern NH Regional Medical Center).
She enjoyed traveling, going to the movies, and eating out. At one time she volunteered for the Salvation Army.
She was educated in the Nashua school system and graduated from Nashua High School.
Survivors include: Two sons, Peter Wilson of Windham and Matthew Chabot of Hollis; four daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Michael Falzone of Litchfield; Kathleen and Steven Pulley of Waynesboro, Tennessee; Cynthia and Todd Anderson of Merrimack; and Amy and Jeffrey Fournier of Chester, New Hampshire; her grandchildren, Hollie, Karina and Caraline Falzone, Ashleigh and Adam Chabot, Wesley and Stephen Basha, Joshua Cabot, Kailee and Abby Fournier; and a great-granddaughter, Alexis Deeney.
