RONALD DENEHY
Ronald G. Denehy, 62, of Brookline, died on July 10, 2006 at Community Hospice House in Merrimack.
He was born in Holyoke, Mass., on January 30, 1944 to Beatrice (Soucy) Denehy and Terence Denehy. He was raised and educated in Brookline and was graduated in 1962 from Nashua High School.
He was a Navy Vietnam veteran and past commander of Kilduff-Wirtanen Legion Post 74, Brookline, and of Lakes Region Seabee Veterans Asso-ciation in Laconia.
He owned and operated Denehy's Outdoor Power Equip-ment in Brookline for many years. He also enjoyed making syrup at Parker's Maple Barn in Mason and working at Corey's Gulf in Brookline. In addition, he worked for the former Brooks Lawn & Garden in Milford and Hammar Hardware in Nashua and as a surveyor for Hamilton Engineering Co. in Nashua.
Mr. Denehy was a 27-year member of the Brookline Volunteer Fire Department and was assistant chief for three years. Additionally, he served as a Hillsborough County Deputy Forest Fire Warden.
Mr. Denehy was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time at his camp in Pittsburg.
He was a loving son, and a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He was predeceased by a brother, Terence Denehy Jr.; a brother-in-law, Raymond Nic-hols; and a sister-in-law, Cheryl Denehy.
In addition to his mother, the family includes his wife of 38 years, Ann Louise (Towne) Denehy; a daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Matthew Magdziarz of Pembroke; son Dwayne Denehy of Swanzey; his former daughter-in-law, Suzie Spikols of Hancock; six grandchildren; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Kathleen and Robert Lewis of Mont Vernon, and Florence Nichols of Pepperell, Mass.; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Brian and Christine Denehy of Sackets Harbor, N.Y., Kevin Denehy of Brookline, and Brendan Denehy and his spouse, Brian Rater, of Brookline; many nieces, ne-phews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Calling hours will be held Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm St., Milford. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lakeside Cemetery in Brookline.

BARBARA MILLER
Barbara Greenwood Miller died on Thursday, July 6, 2006 at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster after a brief illness.
She was born on December 7, 1915 in Jefferson. Barbara was graduated from Plymouth Normal School, where she earned a teaching degree. She taught in several one-room schools in Stewartstown and South Lancaster.
Barbara was married to her childhood sweetheart, Harry E. Miller, in 1939. During World War II, she accompanied her husband to various air bases around the country.
Barbara and Harry made their home in Lancaster after the war. In 1951 she became the librarian at Weeks Memorial Library and dedicated 30 years to her love of books and education.
Barbara is survived by her beloved husband, Harry; sons and daughters-in-law Jay and Sheila Miller of St. Johnsbury, Jonathan and Jean Miller of Dalton, and Skip Keith Miller and his wife Elizabeth Cunningham of Joseph, Ore.; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Barbara was predeceased by her brother, Paul Greenwood; and by her grandson, Michael J. Miller.
At her request, no services are planned. Contributions in Barbara's memory may be made to the Michael J. Miller Scholar-ship Fund at White Mountains Regional High School.
HARRIET SAVAGE
Harriet F. (Kennedy) Savage, 92, of Millis, Mass., and formerly of Stratford, died early on Monday morning, July 10, 2006 at the Metro West Hospital in Framingham, Mass.
Mrs. Savage was born on March 12, 1914 in Stratford, daughter of the late William and Elsie (MacDonald) Kennedy.
She resided in Stratford for 87 years, having worked a number of years as the school cafeteria manager for the Stratford School District. A devoted member of the First Baptist Church in North Stratford, she was the church organist for over 50 years and also served as a member of the First Baptist Church Service League. She was a member of Knights of Pythias of Stratford and served as a library trustee. Her love for music, reading, crocheting and knitting brought her much happiness, but her family was her greatest joy.
Mrs. Savage is survived by four children, Raymond A. Savage Jr. and his wife Margaret of Cary, N.C., Eugene A. Savage and his wife Joan of Barrington, N.H., Claire S. Farley of Holliston, Mass, and William H. Savage and his wife Joyce of Keene; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Savage was preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond A. Savage Sr. in 1976, and by two brothers, Hazen Kennedy and John Kennedy.
Calling hours will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, July 14 at the Jenkins & Newman Funeral Home of Colebrook. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in North Stratford, with The Reverend Larry Clough officiating. An interment service will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in North Stratford.

CARL HOWARD
Carl Eugene Howard, 74, of Duluth, Ga., died on October 1, 2006.
Mr. Howard was a native of South Paris, Maine, and served with the Marines during the Korean Conflict. He had retired from Richards-Wilcox Manufacturing in Aurora, Ill., after 34 years in sales, and he later worked for Karavan Doors in Fayetteville, Ga.
He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Suwanee, Ga., and the Duluth Masonic Lodge #480 F & AM.
Mr. Howard was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Howard; by his brother, Donald Howard; and by his sister, Phyllis Davis.
The family includes his wife of 51 years, Lorraine Howard of Duluth; his daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Scott Ehly of Duluth; two grandsons; and his brother and sister-in-law, Dean and Jean Howard of Errol.
Visiting hours and funeral services were held on Thursday, October 5 at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Suwanee, with Dr. Robert Powers and Rev. Seymour Halford officiating. LAWRENCE KELSEA
Lawrence Ned Kelsea, 76, of Colebrook, died early on Friday morning, October 13, 2006, at his home.
Lawrence was born on March 18, 1930 on the family farm in Colebrook, the son of the late Ned and Alta (Bailey) Kelsea.
Lawrence attended Colebrook Academy and later worked for Charlie Jackson as a farmer and woodsman. He was also employed with Audley Construction and later purchased the family farm in 1962, following his father's death. In 1963 he established Mountain View Dairy and pasteurization plant, delivering milk and potatoes to area customers until 1972. He farmed until 1987 and later raised beef cattle until 2004 with his nephew, Dan Wells. He also worked part-time harvesting Christmas trees and operating an excavator. His hobbies included hunting and fishing, and his many friends saw him driving the back roads of East Colebrook on a daily basis.
Lawrence is survived by his daughter, Heather Baillargeon and her husband Peter of Intervale; two sisters, Leone Brooks of Stonington, Conn., and Barbara Wells of Antrim; a brother, Donald Kelsea of Colebrook; two grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his father in 1961, and by his mother in 1972.

A funeral service was conducted on Monday afternoon at the Trinity United Methodist Church, with The Reverend Larry Clough officiating and followed by an interment service at the Colebrook Village Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Danny Lyons, Nelson Boire, Jimmy Jeffers, Scott Nash, Bruce Lyons and Raymond Paquette. Honorary Pallbearers were Albion Lyons, Robert Hodge, Fred Rainville, Bobby Keazer, Tabor Gray and Josh Boire.

Paul A. Morrissette, 65, of Berlin, died on Friday, October 13, 2006 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin after a short illness.
He was born in Berlin on April 12, 1941, the son of Arthur A. and Irene F. (Dumont) Morris-sette, and had lived most of his life in Berlin.
Paul was a 1959 graduate of Notre Dame High School and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He attended St. Francis College in Biddeford, Maine, and earned his master's degree from Assumption Col-lege. He was employed by the local paper mill for most of his working life. He was a member of St. Anne Church, now known as Good Shepherd Parish, and was a member of St. Pius X Church in Errol. Paul was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hiking and skiing.
Members of the family include a son, Mathew Morrissette of Portsmouth; a daughter, Elise Morrissette and her partner Melinda Treadwell of Marlbor-ough; a sister, Joan Villeneuve and her husband Pete of Errol; his former wife, Bich Ha Trinh of Randolph, Mass.; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Irene (Dumont) Morrissette.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, October 18 at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will take place in the St. Kieran Cemetery. Calling hours were held on Tuesday afternoon and evening at the Bryant Funeral Home in Berlin.

EUGENE ST. CYR
Eugene P. "Gene" St. Cyr, 89, of Rumford, Maine, and formerly of Mexico, died on Friday, October 13, at Rumford Community Home following a brief illness.
He was born in Berlin on June 21, 1917, a son of Napoleon and Adelade (Bergeron) St. Cyr. He was educated in Berlin schools.
He chose to enlist in the Army during World War II, and served in the Philippines and Hawaii, attaining the rank of first sergeant with a battalion of 350 men under him. While still serving in the Army, he married his high school sweetheart, Millie Casey, and together they celebrated 55 years of marriage.
Gene was self-employed as a service station owner, and with the help of his son, Danny, was one of the first to sell snow machines and Allagash truck caps in New England.
He enjoyed snowmobiling, his camp in Errol, and spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed watching all sports, especially watching his grandson, Darren, play hockey, and also enjoyed eating "Pammy's donuts."
He is survived by his son, Daniel P. St. Cyr and his wife Janice of Mexico, Maine; two sisters, Yvette Thibodeau of California and Lena Ross of Berlin; two grandchildren; and his longtime friend and companion, Florence Hastings, and her family, who referred to him as "Papa Gino."
He was predeceased by his wife, Mildred (Casey) St. Cyr; by his parents; a granddaughter, Danielle "Angel" St. Cyr; brothers J.P. St. Cyr, Rene and Joseph St. Cyr; and a sister, Doris Corneau.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Mexico. ALCIDE BELOIN
Alcide Beloin, 84, of Colebrook, died in the late evening of Saturday, January 27, 2007 at the Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital, with his loving family by his side.
He was born on June 19, 1922 in East Hereford, Québec, son of the late Emmaneul Beloin and Rosa (Adam) Beloin.
Mr. Beloin attended schools in Hereford, but also worked on the family farm as a youngster. He was an award-winning dairy farmer on Halls Stream for 36 years, and he was known throughout New England for the quality of his milk products, receiving recognition many times from the United Farmers. He also worked as a logger and Christmas tree farmer, putting in ten years making wreaths and garland roping for the Marchesseault tree farm. Before retiring, Mr. Beloin also worked for a time in the operations and maintenance department for Ethan Allen in Beecher Falls.
He was a life member of the Knights of Columbus and a communicant at St. Albert's Parish and St. Brendan's Catholic Church in Colebrook. He will be missed by many, and will be remembered as a very loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend.
Mr. Beloin leaves behind his wife of 58 years, Yvette (Maurais) Beloin of Colebrook; three daughters, Suzanne Carrier of Colebrook, Colette Bellows and her husband Carl of Lancaster, and Leona Beloin of The Colony, Texas; two sons, Pierre Beloin and his wife Tracy of Rosemeade, Calif., and Guy Beloin and his wife Frances of Litchfield; five brothers, Eugene Beloin and his wife Marie of Colebrook, Gerard Beloin and his wife Diana of Coaticook, Québec, Roger Beloin and his wife Jeannine of Coaticook, Ernest Beloin of East Hereford, Québec, and George Beloin and his wife Paulette of Coaticook; four sisters, Leonie Riendeau of Colebrook, Marie Rose Mongeau of Manchester, Therese Beloin of Waterville, Québec, and Sr. Yvette Beloin of Littleton; six grandchildren, a great-grandson, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mr. Beloin was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.
Calling hours will take place from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, February 2 at the Jenkins & Newman Funeral Home in Colebrook. A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 3 at St. Brendan's Catholic Church in Colebrook, with The Reverend Albert Bellefeuille as celebrant. An interment service will be scheduled at a later date at the convenience of the family.

ALBERTA HEBERT
Alberta Roy Hebert, 98, of Coaticook, Québec, and formerly of Beecher Falls and Pittsburg, died on Monday evening, January 22, 2007 at the Coaticook Hospital, with her family by her side. Mrs. Hebert was born on August 28, 1908 in Lac-Mégantic, Québec, daughter of the late Theodore and Olive (Dumont) Roy. She was raised in Canada and was married to Philias Hebert on October 14, 1929.
She and her family moved to the United States in 1954 and began working for Shirley Covell in Upton, Maine, as a cook. She also worked in area homes and at the hospital in West Stewartstown. She loved to knit and tend to her vegetable gardens, but her greatest joys were caring for her home and family and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be remembered as a very religious woman, placing her faith in God and the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Mrs. Hebert is survived by four children, Gerard Hebert and his wife Shirley of Pittsburg, Therese Rougeau and her husband Rosaire of Pittsburg, Anselme Hebert of Manchester and Alpheche P. Hebert of Florida; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Philias Hebert, in 1958; by two sons, Fernand and Urbain Hebert; and by five brothers and five sisters.
Calling hours were held on Wednesday afternoon and evening, January 24 at the Jenkins & Newman Funeral Home in Colebrook. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday morning, January 25 at St. Albert's Parish, with The Reverend Craig Cheney as celebrant. An interment service will be held in the spring at St. Albert's Cemetery.

ROGER LAFLAMME
Roger Laflamme, 61, of Berlin, died on Sunday January 28, 2007 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin.
He was born in Berlin on December 19, 1945, the son of Lawrence and Rose (Cloutier) Laflamme, and was a lifelong resident of the area. He had been employed as the custodian for Gorham High School and was a member of the Community Bible Church.
Members of the family include his wife, Hilda (Doucette) Laflamme of Berlin; three sons, Michael Laflamme and his wife Kathleen of Meredith, John Laflamme and his wife Tonia of Berlin, and Roger Laflamme and his wife Jodi of West Stewartstown; a daughter, Rose Laflamme of Rochester; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Laflamme of Berlin; a sister, Sylvia Davenport of Berlin; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 2 at the Community Bible Church on Sullivan Street in Berlin. Interment will take place at the Mt. Hayes Cemetery in Gorham. Relatives and friends may call on the family at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the funeral.
