Leona M. Dearborn, BRISTOL

BRISTOL - Leona M. Dearborn, 70, of North Main Street, died Tuesday at the Franklin Regional Hospital after a long illness.
She was born in Franklin, the daughter of Michael and Katherine (Biergiel) Buczynski.
She graduated from Franklin High School.
She and her late husband, Kurt Dearborn, lived in Franklin until 1955, when they moved to Bristol.
She worked on and off at Freudenberg NOK for approximately 20 years before retiring.
She was an active member of the Hill Center Church and the Hill Center Circle, and a devoted member of the Bristol Baptist Church and it's Pidelis Ladies Group.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Katherine Dearborn.
She is survived by three children, Kurt Dearborn of Hill, Kenneth Dearborn of Danbury, Marie Caprario of Gilmanton and Kevin Dearborn of Naples, Fla.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandsons; three brothers, Walter "Pete" Buczynski of Franklin, Stanley Buczynski of Penacook and Stephen Buczynski of Marco Island, Fla.; two sisters, Stella Robinson of Boscawen and Cecile Freeman of Franklin; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Calling hours will be held tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Emmons Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bristol.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. in the Bristol Baptist Church. The Rev. Ethel Matthews, pastor emeritus, and the Rev. James Waugh, interim pastor, will officiate.

Marjorie Hanneman, DEERING

DEERING - Marjorie C. Hanneman, 67, died yesterday at the Cocnord Hospital.
She was born in Swanzey, the daughter of the late William and Mary (Worcester) Nickerson, and lived in Manchester before moving to Deering 40 years ago.
She was a graduate of Franklin High School, class of 1950, and worked for GTE Sylvania in Hillsboro before retiring.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Edward Hanneman of Deering; a son, George Hanneman of Deering; a daughter, Deborah Lewis of Deering; two brothers, Stanley Worcester of Fryeburg, Maine and Frederick Nickerson of Portsmouth; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held tomorrow from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Woodbury & Son Funeral Home, 32 School St., Hillsboro.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home, The Rev. Dawn Shipee, pastor of Smith Memorial Church, Hillsboro, will officiate. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
Beverly A. McIntire, WEST SPRINGFIELD

WEST SPRINGFIELD - Beverly A. McIntire, 59, died Wednesday at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon/
She was born in Lebanon, the daughter of Everett and Evelyn (Cote) Reney. She had lived in West Springfield for the past 21 years.
She attended Grantham School, graduated from Towle High School, Newport, in 1957, and earned a bachelor's degree from the University of New Hampshire, Durham in 1962.
She had been a teacher in the Kearsarge Regional School District for the past 17 years, and had been a chapter one reading teacher in Bradford for the past 10 years.
She enjoyed gardening, kayaking, hiking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and reading.
In addition to her parents of Grantham, she is survived by her husband of 34 years, Vernon McIntire of West Springfield; a son, Todd McIntire of Newbury; a daughter, Tara McIntire of West Springfield; a grandson; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held tomorrow Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Bradford Elementary School, 163 Old Warner Road, Bradford. The Rev. Lynne Hubley, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Bradford, will officiate.

PITTSFIELD - Tucker A. Provost, infant son of Michael and Kimberly Provost of Catamount Street, died Wednesday of a sudden illness.
He was born in Concord.
In addition to his parents of Pittsfield, he is survived by a brother, Dylan Provost; two sisters, Melissa Provost and Samantha Provost; maternal grandparents, Bud and Barbara Heller of Bedford; paternal grandparents, Pat and Rita Marchese of Merrimack; great-grandparents, Emile and Grace Montplaisir of Titusville, Fla.; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service will be celebrated tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Perkins Funeral Home, 60 Main St., Pittsfield. The Rev. Bradley Bergfalk, pastor of the Concord Covenant Church, will officiate.
Private burial will be in the Floral Park Cemetery.

William H. Bradford

William H. Bradford, 91, of Crestwood Drive, died Sunday.
He was born in Augusta, Maine, the son of William and Nellie (Tobey) Bradford. He was a graduate of Cony High School, August, Maine, and Wentworth Institute, Boston.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving as a Lieutenant Colonel in the First Infantry Division.
He participated in the European Theater in Sicily, Normandy, Algeria, French Morocco, Tunesia, Central Europe and The Rhineland among other places. He was awarded the Silver Star for Gallantry in action at Omaha Beach and a Bronze Star.
He was employed as a right of way engineer by the Maine State Highway Commission.
He was a Covenant member of South Parish Congregational Church, Augusta, Maine, where he served as a deacon for many years.
He was a life member of the Maine Association of Engineers, a fellow in the American Society of Civil Engineers, a registered professional engineer and registered land surveyor both in Maine and New Hampshire, a member of Bethlehem Lodge No. 35 AF&AM, Augusta, Maine, a member of Fitzgerald-Cummings American Legion, Maine State Employees Association, Maine Good Roads Association and He had served two terms on the Augusta City Council.
He was a direct descendant of William Bradford, the first governor of the Plymouth colony in 1620.
He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Ruth (Sleeper) Bradford.
He is survived by his wife, Louise (Page) Sleeper Bradford of Concord; a daughter, Marilyn Everett of Loudon; two granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Alden Bradford of Manchester, Maine; and several nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours.
Services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in the Dewhirst Funeral Home, 1061 Union Ave., Laconia. The Rev. John Hillyer, pastor of the Evangelical Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Maine State Veterans Cemetery, Augusta, Maine.

Marguerite E. Taft, FRANKLIN

FRANKLIN - Marguerite E. Taft, 93, formerly of The Knolls, Franklin, died Wednesday at Mountain Ridge Genesis Eldercare, Franklin.
She was born In Nova Scotia, Canada, the daughter of Walter and Bessie (Silver) Cooke. She grew up and graduated from High School in Nova Scotia, and worked as a telephone operator there.
She moved to Boston and lived there for several years before moving to Franklin in 1950.
She was employed as a cashier by Bennetts IGA store in Franklin.
She was predeceased by her husband, Cornelius Taft.
She is survived by a niece, Hester Carver of Fort Pierce, Fla.; and a friend, Marjorie Rousseau of Franklin.
A graveside funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Franklin Cemetery, Franklin. The Rev. Carol Cray, co-pastor of the Franklin United Methodist Church, will officiate.
H.L. Young & Company Memorial Home in Franklin is in charge of the arrangements.
Dorothy M. Wiesman, FREMONT

FREMONT - Dorothy M. Wiesman, a longtime Concord resident, died Wednesday.
She was born in Canada, the daughter of the late George and Ermma (Bellerance) Housley.
She was raised in Canada and moved to the United States after getting married.
She was a homemaker, who lived in New Jersey for many years. After her husband retired, they moved to Concord, where they lived for 24 years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred Wiesman.
She is survived by a brother, Joseph Housley of Louisiana; and several nieces and nephews.
A calling hour will be held Monday from 11 a.m. to noon, at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter.
Services will be held after the calling hour Monday at noon in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Clinton, Mass.
Alan H. Strang, WHITEHALL, N.Y.

WHITEHALL, N.Y. - Alan H. Strang, 63, died Tuesday at Glens Falls Hospital.
He was born in Delaware County, Pa., the son of Harold and Irene (Pattison) Strang.
He was employed by Beede Electrical Company, Penacook, as an electrical engineer.
He served on the vestry of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Hopkinton.
He was a member of the Free and Accepted Order of Masons, Manchester By The Sea Lodge, Manchester, Mass.
He was predeceased by a brother, Donald Strang.
He is survived by two daughters, Donna Murray of Newmarket and Diane Conaway of Hopkinton; a son, David Strang of Redding, Conn.; six grandchildren; a sister, and Carolyn Wakefield of Bethesda, Md.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

BARNSTEAD - Gary J. Hanscom Sr., 42, of Newport Circle Drive, died Tuesday at home after a long illness.
He was born on Long Island, N.Y., the son of Elmer and Jean (McClosky) Hanscom. He had lived in Barnstead for the past 10 years.
He worked as a foreman for the Asplundh Tree Expert Company for years.
He was actively involved with the Barnstead Little League and the Kingswood Lancers peewee football clubs.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Corrine Hanscom of Barnstead; a son, Gary Hanscom Jr. of Barnstead; a daughter, Naomi Hanscom of Barnstead; two step-sons, Henry LaPine of Georgia and Craig LaPine of Barnstead; three brothers, Guy Hanscom of Salt Lake City, Roy Hanscom of Kingswood, Texas and Douglas Hanscom of Somers, Conn.; and a sister, Karen Buffone of Endfield, Conn.
