Cathleen G. Welch
MANCHESTER - Cathleen G. Welch, 96, of Myrtle Street, died Tuesday at Mt. Carmel Nursing Home, Manchester.
She was born in Concord, the daughter of John and Frances (Sweeney) Crowley.
She was a lifelong Concord resident, a 1921 graduate of Concord High School and a graduate of Concord Business College.
She was a member of St. Peter's Church, Concord.
She was predeceased by her husband, Norris Welch.
She is survived by two daughters, Frances Barker of Swampscott, Mass., and Sylvia Gendrop of Boston, Mass.; three grandchildren, William Gendrop, Deborah Lee and Kathleen Gendrop; and two great-grandchildren.
A calling hour will be held today from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 North Main St., Concord.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated today at 1 p.m. in St. Peter's Church. The Rev. Rafal Kopystynski, assistant pastor, will be the celebrant.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Concord.

Sara W. Moses, PLYMOUTH

PLYMOUTH - Sara W. "Sukey" Moses, 86, formerly of Cummings Street, died Sunday at the Odd Fellows Home in Concord.
She was born in Haverhill, the daughter of Tilden and Mary (Page) Wright. She spent her childhood in Pike and was a 1930 graduate of Haverhill Academy. She earned a business degree from Concord Business School in 1932.
She was the owner and operator of Moses Insurance Agency, Main Street, Plymouth, for many years. She also did clerical work for Guinan's Dugout and Speare Memorial Hospital, and worked as the secretary of Plymouth Congregational Church for eight years.
After selling her insurance agency, she worked for Noyes Insurance Agency, Plymouth.
She was a member of the Plymouth Congregational Church and the Haverhill Historical Society, and a former member of the Plymouth Historical Society and the Squam Lakes Association. She volunteered for the Speare Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, working on the annual hospital fair, for many years.
She enjoyed quilting and golf.
She is survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Mayhew Funeral Home, 12 Langdon St., Plymouth.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Plymouth congregational Church. The Rev. Judith Gooch, pastor, and the Rev. Philip Hart will officiate. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in Ladd Cemetery, Haverhill.

Margaret Maganzini, LACONIA

LACONIA - Margaret R. Maganzini, 88, of Court Street, died Monday in St. Francis Home.
She was born in Austria, the daughter of Anthony and Adele (Cereghini) Maffei. She lived in New York for many years, moving to Locke Lake, Center Barnstead, in 1972. She became a resident of Bishop Bradley Apartments, Laconia, in 1990.
During World War II, she was an Italian interpreter and worked as a teller for Anchor Savings Bank, New York.
Before retiring, she worked as a nursing home ombudsman in New Hampshire. She also volunteered at the Laconia State School Training Center with autistic children.
She was a member of the quilters club.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Laconia.
She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Maganzini.
She is survived by two sons, Herman Maganzini of Rockville, Md., and Anthony Maganzini of Wyckoff, N.J.; a daughter, Adele Teutonico of Ridge, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 30 Church St., Laconia. The Rev. Gary Kosmowski, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Smith Meetinghouse Cemetery, Gilmanton, where the Rev. Gary Kosmowski will bless the grave and offer the final Rite of Commendation.

ANDOVER - Mark A. David, 32, formerly of Manchester, died unexpectedly Sunday at the Franklin Regional Hospital.
He had worked as a merchandising manager for Imperial Distributors, Auburn, Mass., for the past several years.
He is survived by his parents, Clarence and Patricia (Taft) David of Harpswell, Maine; his wife, Nancy (Sheahan) David of Andover; three children, Tyler David of Milford, and Kevin Roark and Meagan Roark both of Andover; 11 siblings, Barbara Olin of Lowell, Mass., Linda Montgomery of Dracut, Mass., Nancy Goes of Dracut, Mass., Mary Asselin of Tyngsboro, Mass., James David of Lowell, Mass., Kenneth David of Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, Richard David of Farmington Hills, Mich., Robert David of Nashua, Donald David of Townshend, Mass., John David of Lowell, Mass., and Edward David of Londonderry; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. in the Mahoney Funeral Home, 187 Nesmith St., Lowell, Mass.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Francis Church, Dracut, Mass. Burial will be in Gibson Cemetery, Pelham.

Leah W. Schaefer, SALISBURY

SALISBURY - Leah W. Schaefer, 91, of Old Turnpike Road, died yesterday at the Peabody Home, Franklin.
She was born in Isley, Alberta, Canada, the daughter of Gerald and Ellen (Teatchen) Lively. She lived in Salisbury for more than 60 years, coming from Boscawen.
She and her husband ran a country store in Salisbury for many years, and she later worked for Holmes and Nelson Department Store in Franklin. She also worked for Webster Valve in Franklin for many years before retiring.
She was a member of the Bartlett Grange No. 104, Salisbury and the Order of the Eastern Star, Franklin.
She assisted with the voting checklist during elections in Salisbury.
She was a member of the Salisbury Congregational Church.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Arthur Schaefer Sr. of Salisbury; two sons, Arthur Schaefer Jr. of Hudson, N.C., and A. Neal Schaefer of Salisbury; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
There are no calling hours.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home, Franklin-Tilton Road, Tilton. The Rev. Mary James, pastor of the Salisbury Congregational Church, will officiate. Burial will take place after the service in Maplewood Cemetery, Salisbury.

Doris A. Audet, 85, of McKee Drive, died yesterday at home after a short illness.
She was born in Laconia, the daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Morin) Smith. She attended Laconia schools and had been a Concord resident since 1933.
She was a member of the Sacred Heart Women's Club, concord.
She was an avid quilter and a longtime golfer at Beaver Meadow Golf Country Club.
She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Emmanuel Audet; and four brothers, William Smith, Oliva Smith, Roland Smith and Roger Smith.
She is survived by six daughters, Patricia Gagnon of Whiting, Maine, Jacqueline Cote of Jefferson, Elaine Clement, Linda Mahan and Judith White, all of Concord, and Joan St. Pierre of Parker, Colo.; two sons, Richard Audet of Chichester and Stephen Audet of Concord; 25 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; a brother, Rolland "Jack" Smith of Laconia; three sisters, Germaine Cushing, Charlotte Toutaint and Jacqueline Brasley, all of Laconia; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Waters Funeral Home, 50 S. Main St., Concord.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 52 Pleasant St., Concord. The Rev. Aime Boisselle, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will take place after the service in Calvary Cemetery.

Hester H. Campbell, 88, of Concord and Madison, died Nov. 17 at her Concord home.
She was the widow of the late Rt. Rev. Donald Campbell, former suffragan bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles.
She is survived by a daughter, Gwyneth Seay of Camp Hill, Pa.; two sons, Donald Campbell of Los Angeles and Robert Campbell of New York City; a brother, Richard Hocking of Madison; and a sister, Joan Kracke of Concord.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Lillian T. Garofoli, 94, of Washington Street, died Sunday at the Courville Nursing Home in Manchester.
She was born in Beverly, Mass., the daughter of the Marciano and Catherina (Tranfaglia) Garofoli.
She was a lifelong resident of Concord, and a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Margaret K. Desmond chapter of Concord. She was an active lifelong parishioner of St. Peters Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Garofoli Jr.
She is survived by two sons, Joseph Garofoli of Hillsboro and Robert Garofoli of Camden, Maine; two daughters, Virginia Salotti of Agawam, Mass., and Sandra Garofoli Hutcheson of Boston; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be tomorrow prior to the funeral, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Waters Funeral Home, 50 S. Main St.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated tomorrow at 11 a.m. in St. Peters Church. The Rev. Mitchell Wanat, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Concord.
Margaret R. Tilton

Margaret R. Tilton, 69, of Clinton Street, died Sunday at Concord Hospital.
She was born in Concord, the daughter of Augustine and Ella (Chandler) Blodgett. She was a lifelong Concord resident, and she helped with the Tilton Family Farm for 50 years.
She was a member of the Farm Bureau of Merrimack County.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Kenneth and Lawrence Blodgett; and her twin sister, Margery Lamora.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Sumner Tilton of Concord; three daughters, Barbara Avery of Pembroke, Ila Parker of Concord and Susan Poulin of Pembroke; four granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; a brother, Raymond Blodgett Sr. of Concord; three sisters, Virginia Flanders of Concord; Evelyn Forrestall of Concord and Frances Welcome of Boscawen; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., Concord.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. The Rev. William Keeffe and the Rev. John Westhaver Jr. will officiate.
Burial will be in Blossom Hill Cemetery.
