Lucien L. Ouellette

Lucien L. Ouellette, 71, of Boscawen, died Saturday at the Hospice House in Concord.
He was born in Concord, the son of Alfred and Emma (Racien) Ouellette.
He was a retired custodian for Rundlett Junior High School and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Concord.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Wanda (Hooper) Ouellette of Boscawen; a son, Sam Young of Salisbury; two brothers, Albert Ouellette and Ernest Ouellette, both of Penacook; a sister, Cecile Gamble of Suncook; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours.
A memorial service will be held tomorrow1 at 11 a.m. at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., Concord, with Father Albert Tremblay officiating.

Roland L. Bellerose, HOOKSETT

HOOKSETT - Roland L. Bellerose, 69, died Tuesday at home after a long illness.
He was born in Manchester, the son of William and Hedwidge (Martel) Bellerose. He spent his early life in Manchester, where he was educated. He received his GED in 1956. He had lived in Hooksett for the past 43 years.
He was a retired carpenter and custom cabinet maker, a trade he learned from his father. Before retiring in 1991, he had been employed by Harvey Construction Co. in Bedford. He also worked for Caron Construction and Davidson Construction.
He served as trustee and then president of Local No. 625 of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners, Manchester, for three terms.
He served in the Army National Guard in Manchester, 197th Field Artillery Brigade, II Corps, for 22 years, retiring with the rank of captain. He was a charter member of the Minute Men Officers Club and a member of the American Legion Post No. 37 of Hooksett.
He was a member of the Alpine Drum and Bugle Corps until 1989, and had performed in Washington, D.C., for President Dwight Eisenhower. He also was a former member of the Lafayette Drum and Bugle Corps and the 39th Army Band, in which he played the French horn for concerts and acted as a drum major in parades.
He was a member of the American Canadian Genealogical Society, the Knights of Columbus 3rd degree Father Langlois Council No. 5286 and the Legion of One Thousand Men of the Precious Blood Monastery.
He was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church, Suncook.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Rita (Bellerose) Bellerose of Hooksett; a brother, Aurele "Speed" Bellerose of Manchester; a sister, Jeannette Lavigne of Hooksett; three godchildren; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Petit Funeral Home, 167 Main St., Pembroke.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church. The Rev. C. Peter Dumont, pastor, will be the celebrant and Deacon Ronald Gagne will assist. Spring burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.

Evangeline G. Rayno, WILMOT

WILMOT - Evangeline G. Rayno, 89, of Village Road, died Monday at New London Hospital.
She was born in Limestone, Maine, the daughter of Frederick and Leah (Corrow) Berube. She graduated from Limestone, Maine, High School.
She had lived in the Wilmot area for 70 years, and had lived at Fox Chase in South Sutton for the past two months.
She worked at New London Hospital and Colby-Sawyer College for approximately 30 years, retiring in 1976.
She was a communicant and founder of Immaculate Conception Church in Potter Place, where she was also a member of the choir and the Rosary Altar Society and a CCD teacher.
She enjoyed needlework, sewing, gardening, braiding rugs, reading and baby-sitting.
She was predeceased by her husband, Henry Rayno; and brothers and sisters.
She is survived by a daughter, Joan O'Brien of Nashua; four sons, Gerald Rayno, Keith Rayno and David Rayno, all of Wilmot, and Peter Rayno of Bow; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, Vivan Berube of Auburn, Maine; four sisters, Georgianna Mullally of Waterbury, Conn.; Mabel Moser of Franktown, Colo., Laura Morey of Concord and Cecelia Sargeant of Newport; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Chadwick Funeral Home, 174 Main St., New London.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Potter Place. Spring burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Wilmot.

Marjorie L. Joy, NEW DURHAM

NEW DURHAM - Marjorie L. Joy, 54, relative of area residents, died Sunday after a long illness.
She was born in Concord, the daughter of Robert and Hazel (Benware) Little.
She lived in New Durham all her life.
She was a housewife and mother, and later worked for Pittsfield Weaving Company.
She enjoyed sewing and crafts.
She is survived by two sons, Earl Joy II and Michael Joy, both of Alton; two daughters, Marjorie O'toole and Anne Marie Joy, both of Alton; six grandchildren; her sisters, Priscilla, Betsy and Mary Bennett, all of Wolfeboro; four brothers, Richard Little, Robert Little, John Little and Gerald Little, all of Wolfeboro.
There will be no calling hours.
A memorial service will be held tomorrow at 3 p.m. in the Community Church of Alton, Church Street, Alton.
The R. M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home in Rochester is in charge of arrangements.
Bradford Herrick III, PENACOOK

PENACOOK - Bradford T. Herrick III, 37, of South Main Street, died Monday at home after an unexpected illness.
He was born in Ellsworth, Maine, the son of Bradford and Sara (Lorefice) Herrick.
He had lived in Penacook for the past two years, but had spent most of his life residing in Madison, Maine.
He was a 1980 graduate of the Madison, Maine High School.
He is survived by his mother Sara Valgean of Mission Viejo, Calif.; a brother, Thomas Herrick of Manchester; and several cousins.

Mildred E. Mason, EPSOM

EPSOM - Mildred E. "Millie" Mason, 70, a former Concord resident, died Friday at Hospice House in Concord.
She was born in Nelson, the daughter of Frank and Mildred (Sherrick) Kendall.
She was employed at Sears for more than 20 years.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the Heartbreak City Fan Club. She was an avid fan of country music.
She was predeceased by two sons, Bruce and David.
She is survived by a son, Ronald Mason of Menlo Park, Calif.; a daughter, Jacqueline Mason of Allenstown; four grandchildren; and three brothers, Frank Kendall, Kenneth Kendall and Richard Kendall, all of Concord.
Calling hours will be held Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., Concord.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 90 Clinton St., Concord. Bishop Harry Hadaway Jr. will officiate. Interment will take place after the service in Blossom Hill Cemetery, Concord.

Edward Weiner

Edward Weiner, 95, died Sunday at Hospice House in Concord.
He was born in New York City, and attended New York University, where he studied Mandarin Chinese.
He was a buyer for the Literary Guild of America from its inception until it was absorbed by Doubleday Doran. During World War II, he was a buyer of printing and stationary for the city of New York.
He was a member of the Fort Pierce, Fla., Masonic Lodge and the Horace Chase Lodge in Penacook. He was a 32nd degree mason, a member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Lake Worth, Fla. and of Mahi Shrine, Miami, Fla. He was a 50-year member of the Masons.
He spent the last 45 years in Florida, coming to New Hampshire to live with his son, after his wife of 62 years, Miriam, died in 1990.
He was a member of a reformed temple all his life, first in New York City and later in Hollywood, Fla.
He enjoyed oil painting and was an avid reader.
He is survived by Myron Weiner of Penacook.
There will be no calling hours or services.

Christina V. Hawk, NORTHWOOD

NORTHWOOD - Christina V. Hawk, 75, of Blakes Hill Road, died yesterday at Concord Hospital after a sudden illness.
She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of Charles and Rosemary (Murtha) Patak. She lived in College Point, N.Y., for many years, moving to Northwood in 1980.
She is survived by her husband, Vincent Hawk Sr. of Northwood; two daughters, Patricia Infante of Northwood and Rosemary Costanzo of Center Barnstead; a son, Vincent Hawk Jr. of Milford; four grandchildren; four brothers, William Patek of Farmingdale, Long Island, N.Y., Francis Patak of Largo, Fla., Robert Patek of Borger, Texas, and Edward Patek of Holmes Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Rosemary McCormack of Storrs, Conn., and Eleanor Gress of Franklin Square, Long Island, N.Y.; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Perkins Funeral Home, 60 Main St., Pittsfield.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, Northwood. The Rev. George Majika, pastor, will be the celebrant.
