Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Walton
SEABROOK - Memorial services for the Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Walton will be held Sunday, June 8, 2003, at 2 p.m. in Four Corners Advent Church, Seabrook, where she was serving as pastor.
Charles Mantegani
MANCHESTER - Charles Mantegani, 87, died Friday, May 30, 2003, in a local nursing home following a period of declining health.
He was born Aug. 26, 1915, in Exeter, the son of Pasquale and Mary (Fontana) Mantegani and had resided in Manchester since 1948.
He was educated in Exeter schools and attended Notre Dame University for two years.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was assigned to a base in Panama in 1940 and attended Officer Candidate School. Following his commission he was assigned to the Ordnance Corps at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland. He was discharged as a captain in 1945.
Mr. Mantegani was a quality control inspector with the Department of Defense, retiring in 1979 after many years of service.
He was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Parish where he served as an usher. He was a former member of the Henry J. Sweeney Post No. 2, American Legion; the Reserve Officers Association; the National Association of Retired Federal Employees; the American Association of Retired Persons; and the League of 1000 Men of the Precious Blood Monastery.
He is survived by his wife, Alice (Hevey) Mantegani of Manchester; one son, Thomas C. Mantegani of Milford, Mass.; two daughters, Patricia M. Barassi of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and Barbara J. Mantegani Ragling of McLean, Va.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial was in New St. Joseph Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Blessed Sacrament Parish or to the Blessed Sacrament Parish Food Pantry, 14 Elm St., Manchester, NH 03103.
Arrangements were by the J. Robert Durning Funeral Home, Manchester.
Henry L. Van Amburgh
CLERMONT, Fla. - Services for Henry Louis Van Amburgh, 76, will be held June 6 at 3 p.m. in Maple Lane Cemetery, Stratham.
Mr. Van Amburgh 76, died January 4, 2003.
Arrangements are by the Stockbridge Funeral Home, Exeter.
Dorothy D. Wetmore
EXETER - Dorothy D. Wetmore, 81, died Sunday, June 1, 2003, after a period of failing health.
She was born Nov. 17, 1921, in Ipswich, Mass., the daughter of the late Edward G. and Emma S. (Godin) Barney and had resided in Exeter for 22 years.
She was educated in Ipswich schools.
Mrs. Wetmore was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary of Ipswich.
The widow of Ralph H. Wetmore, who died in 2000, she is survived by two daughters, Sandra S. Tessicini of Portsmouth and Dorothy H. "Tiny" Bruce of Kensington; two sons, Frank E. Wetmore of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Paul G. Wetmore of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Nora G. (Geaney) Andrews
LYNN, Mass. - Nora G. (Geaney) Andrews, 87, of Short Road, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2003, at her son’s home in Reading, Mass.
She was born in Lynn, the daughter of the late Michael J. and Ellen (Deegan) Geaney, and was a lifelong resident of Lynn.
She was a 1934 graduate of Lynn English High School.
Mrs. Andrews was employed by General Electric in its West Lynn facility.
She was a communicant of St. Pius V Church, Lynn.
The widow of Francis J. Andrews, she is survived by one son and his wife, Francis J. and Patricia Andrews Jr. of Reading; two daughters and their husbands, Carol A. and Richard Sherwin of Hampton and Ellen M. and JP Monnin of Marblehead, Mass.; and eight grandchildren.
She was predeceased by one son, Robert Andrews; two brothers, Michael J. Geaney and Joseph Geaney; and three sisters, Margaret Geaney, Mary M. Byrne and Helen Cremin.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday, Aug. 23 in St. Pius V Church.
Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of the North Shore, 10 Elm St., Danvers, MA 01923.

Jeanne M. Klatt
HAMPTON - Jeanne M. Klatt, 68, died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2003, at her son’s home in Stratham.
She was born Aug. 9, 1935, in Surry, Maine, the daughter of the late Eustace and Nina (Carter) Douse, and had resided in Hampton for 37 years.
She was a graduate of Framingham State College, Framingham, Mass.
Mrs. Klatt was a bookkeeper for Prudential Rush Realty for 15 years.
She was an avid boater who loved living by the ocean.
She is survived by one son and his wife, Steven and Susan Klatt of Stratham; two grandchildren; three sisters, Dottie Rich of Wells, Maine, Hilda Brown of California, and Olga McGeehan of Portland, Maine; and her companion of 30 years, Joseph Ferrara of Exeter.
There are no calling hours.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in High Street Cemetery, Hampton.

Kim Moscato
ROLLINSFORD - Kim "Bitsey" Bartlett Moscato, 48, of Clements Road, died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2003, in Frisbee Memorial Hospital, Rochester, after a brief illness.
She was born Jan. 9, 1955, in Exeter, the daughter of the late Richard Capron, who died in 1999, and Rae (Wiggin) Capron, who died in 2002. She was raised in Stratham and had resided in Candia for 24 years before moving to Rollinsford.
She was a 1973 graduate of Exeter High School and from the N.H. Technical Institute in Concord.
Mrs. Moscato was an x-ray technician at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hospital for 15 years and worked for Dr. Kennedy for 10 years in his offices in Amherst and Manchester.
She enjoyed raising her cocker spaniels and collies into champion show dogs, birdwatching and gardening.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Moscato of Rollinsford; one son, Tristan Moscato of Rollinsford; and one sister, Lori Ferguson of Newmarket.
There are no calling hours.
Graveside services will be held Friday, Sept. 12, at 11 a.m. in Greenwood Cemetery, Stratham, with Dr. Lee Abbot, Mrs. Moscato’s brother-in-law, officiating.

Muriel J. Mulrain
PORTSMOUTH - Muriel J. Mulrain, 81, formerly of Hampton and Hampton Falls, died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2003, at the Edgewood Centre where she resided for the past several years.
She was born Dec. 12, 1921, in Waltham, Mass., the daughter of the late Simon J. and Mary (LeBlanc) Aucoin.
The widow of Arthur E. Mulrain, she is survived by one son, Thomas E. Mulrain of Burlington, Mass.; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; two sisters, Corinne Jome of Westerly, R.I., and Geraldine Abramo of Paris; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one daughter, Joyce Dubois.
Friends may call Saturday at 9 a.m. in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. In Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, Hampton. After cremation interment will be in West View Cemetery, Hampton Falls.
Barbara L. Roy
AMESBURY, Mass. - Barbara L. Roy, 71, of Powow Villa, died Monday, Aug. 25, 2003, in Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston.
She was born Sept. 13, 1931, in Pittsburg, Kan., the daughter of the late C. Leonard and Helen (Harvey) Ross. She was raised in Kansas and had been an Amesbury resident for many years.
Mrs. Roy was a registered nurse for 50 years and had been employed at the former Amesbury Hospital for many years.
She was an active member of the Amesbury Housing Authority and the Powow Villa Association.
She was an avid reader and Red Sox fan, and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by four sons and their wives, Steven and Chris Roy of Raymond, Michael and Louise Roy of Hampton, Thomas and Marsinne Roy of Deltona, Fla., and John and Laurie Roy of Manchester; two daughters, Kathy Boucher, and Lisa Kay and her husband Richard, all of Kingston; 18 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Donald Ross of Mulvane, Kan.; and one sister, Bonnie Amershek of Frontenac, Kan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 67 Friend St., Amesbury. Burial will be private.

Clara Willey
VALENCIA, Calif. - Clara Delia (Charter) Willey, 93, formerly of Raymond, died July 25, 2003, in Valencia.
She was born Oct. 7, 1909, in Candia, the daughter of Eugene and Lucy (Seward) Charter. She was raised in Candia, moving to Manchester after her marriage to Fenton P. Cottrell. She moved to Raymond in 1937 and to California in 1996.
She is survived by three sons, Lawrence Cottrell Sr. of Exeter, Howard Cottrell of Ventura, Calif., and George Cottrell of Raymond; one daughter, Lois Dorrell of Valencia; one stepdaughter, Joan Rand of Keizer, Ore.; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her second husband, Howard M. Willey, in 1969.
Friends may call Saturday, Sept. 6, from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the Brewitt Funeral Home, On the Common, Raymond. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. in Holbrook Cemetery, Candia. A reception will be held following the service at the home of Colleen Towle, 271 Fremont Road, Chester.
Sonia M. Buccini
HAVERHILL, Mass. - Sonia M. (Baron) Buccini, 77, died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2003, at her home after a brief illness.
She was born March 10, 1926, in Haverhill, the daughter of the late Justin and Matrona Baron.
She was a 1944 graduate of Haverhill High School and attended the Wilson School, Newton, Mass., where she earned a degree as an x-ray technician in 1946.
Mrs. Buccini was the office manager for her family’s business, M.J. Buccini Plumbing Co., retiring in 1986.
With her late husband, she served on the founding committee for the Don Orione Home for Children, Bradford, Mass.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, antique dealing and was an avid Boston sports fan.
The widow of Mario J. Buccini, she is survived by two sons and their wives, Steven P. and Gail Buccini of Haverhill and Ronald G. and Deborah Buccini of Hampton; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews; and dear friends Susie Curcio, Diane Buccini and Pauline Valente.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.
