Marcy Reinders
HASTINGS -- Marcy Kay Reinders, 34, of Hastings died Monday, Oct. 25, 1999, as the result of a car accident in Hastings.
Services will be at a later date in Norfolk.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home in Grand Island. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.
Miss Reinders was born
on Nov. 24, 1964, at Valentine to Leonard and Linda (Shay) Reinders. She graduated from Norfolk High School in 1982. She then worked as a nanny in New York City.
She returned to Nebraska and studied at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She later transferred to Wayne State College, where she received her degree in elementary education. She taught English in Japan for four years and traveled extensively throughout Africa, Indonesia and Thailand.
She returned to Nebraska to teach in the Grand Island public schools. She had taught English as a second language at Dodge Elementary School since January 1999.
Ms. Reinders was pursuing her master's degree at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
She was a member of the Nebraska State Education Association.
Her hobbies included collecting and refinishing antiques. She also enjoyed nature and the outdoors.
Survivors include her father and stepmother, Leonard and Janet Reinders of Phillips; her mother, Linda Reinders of Stanton; two sisters, Laurie Vaughan of Norfolk and Karen Oviedo of Casa Grande, Ariz.; three brothers, Daniel Reinders of Huron, S.D., Heath Reinders of Metuchen, N.J., and Dana Singsass of Lincoln.
Juliann Stevens
ALBION -- Juliann C. Stevens, 61, of Albion, was found dead at her home in Albion on Sunday, Oct. 24, 1999.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the St. Edward Catholic Church in St. Edward. The Rev. Frank Baumert will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Miller-Levander Funeral home in St. Edward with a 7:30 p.m. rosary. The Rev. Edward Gill will officiate. Visitation will continue from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Donald Tschudy
ST. PAUL -- Donald R. Tschudy, 77, of St. Paul died Monday, Oct. 25, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church in St. Paul. The Rev. Thomas Hyde will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery at St. Paul.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Jacobsen Funeral Home in St. Paul.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
Mr. Tschudy was born
on Aug. 17, 1922, at Palmer to John and Martha (Eckert) Tschudy. He attended rural school at Palmer and grew up there. He farmed with his father and then worked as a mechanic for a John Deere equipment business in Archer.
He married Elnora DeMary on Jan. 1, 1950, at St. Paul. He later opened his own mechanic's shop in Archer, which he sold in 1967. He then worked for the Chicago Lumber Co. in Grand Island.
The couple moved to St. Paul, where he worked as an implement mechanic for Southard Lumber Co. He then again opened his own mechanic's shop. He then worked for St. Paul Equipment. He last owned and operated his own mechanic's shop in St. Paul, retiring in 1997. After his retirement, he continued to do carburetor and implement business.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church in St. Paul.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Donna (Mrs. Greg) Roman of Grand Island, Bonnie (Mrs. Marlyn) Youngdahl of Shelby and Esther Miller of St. Paul; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Robert.
Marjorie Bolen
OMAHA -- Marjorie Jean Bolen, 76, of Omaha, formerly of Clarks, died Monday, Oct. 25, 1999, at Omaha.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Richards Catholic Church in Omaha.
Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Clarks Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Roeder Mortuaries in Omaha. Further visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary at the church.
Mrs. Bolen was born
July 4, 1923, in Clarks.
Survivors include seven children, Joe, Kathe, Peggy, Doug, Jeff, Basil and Jim; 30 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bill Douglas and Dewayne Douglas; and a sister, Janet Engel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert and two brothers, Don and Jim Douglas.
Dawnie Watson
YORK -- Dawnie Louise Watson, 65, of York, died Friday, Oct. 22, 1999, at Omaha.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the East Avenue United Methodist Church in York. The Rev. Kay Moyer will officiate. Burial will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery near Waco.
Memorials are suggested to the family.

Mrs. Watson was born
Sept. 4, 1934, at Nacogdoches, Texas, to Glen O. and Laura "Lottie" (Shaw) Bramel Sr.
She married Harlan "Watty" Watson in Waynesville, Mo. on Aug. 22, 1950.
She was the office manager for the Nebraska State Department of Roads from 1983 to 1991.
She was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church near Waco.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Randy of Newburg, Mo., Jerry of Grand Island and Jeff of York; and two daughters, Laura "Lottie" Watson of Louisville and Kathy (Mrs. Steve) Rediger of York.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a granddaughter.
Rev. 'Fritz' Mischke
PHOENIX -- The Rev. Fridolin P. "Fritz" Mischke, O.S.C., 83, of Phoenix, formerly of Hastings, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 1999, in Phoenix.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Crosier Monastery in Onamia, Minn. Burial will be in the Crosier Cemetery in Onamia.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Holy Cross Church at the monastery in Onamia.
Whitney and Murphy Arcadia Funeral Home of Phoenix is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials are suggested to the Crosier Community of Phoenix.
The Rev. Mischke was born
at Buckman, Minn. He professed his vows on Aug. 28, 1937, in Hastings. He was ordained a priest on June 6, 1942, in Hastings. He received his master's degree in Greek from Catholic University in Washington, D.C., in 1950 and received an additional degree in spiritual theology from the Dominica House of Studies in River Forest, Ill., in 1960.
In 1983, he moved from Hastings to Phoenix, where he served in various parishes of the Catholic Diocese in Phoenix.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and five sisters.
Lambert Boruch
OSCEOLA -- Lambert G. Boruch, 81, of Osceola died Saturday, Nov. 6, 1999, at the Good Samaritan Center in Osceola.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Stanislaus' Catholic Church in Duncan. The Revs. Dave Korth and Thomas McGuire will officiate. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus' Catholic Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post 263 of Silver Creek.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Tuesday with a 7 p.m. vigil at the church. Further visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to the donor's choice.

Mr. Boruch was born
on Sept. 14, 1918, in Polk County to George and Katherine (Matya) Boruch. He was educated at rural District 11 School.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1946, when he was discharged as a sergeant.
He married Mary Ann Iwan at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Columbus. They moved to Garland, Texas. He returned to the family farm in 1963. He farmed and was a masonry contractor.
He was a member of St. Stanislaus' Catholic Church and American Legion Post 263 of Silver Creek.
Survivors include six sons, Gary of Polo, Mo., George of Shelby and Greg, Randy, Richard and Ronald, all of Osceola; 10 grandchildren; one brother, Henry of Duncan; and two sisters, Christine Liss of Genoa and Mary Ann Liss of Lakewood, Colo.
He was preceded in death by his wife and two sisters, Sylvia Boruch and Bernice Kochanowicz.
Laura Gehrman
BROKEN BOW -- Laura Sophia Gehrman, 96, of Broken Bow died Saturday, Nov. 6, 1999, at Jennie M. Melham Memorial Medical Center in Broken Bow.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow. The Rev. Stephen Kerr will officiate. Burial will be in the Merna Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.
A memorial has been established to Sandhills Manor Nursing Home.
Mrs. Gehrman was born
on July 20, 1903, at the family's farmhouse near Yutan to Henry and Katie (Mumm) Storm.
She married William "Bill" Gehrman on Feb. 27, 1923, at Wahoo. They lived west of Merna. They moved to Broken Bow in 1950. Mr. Gehrman died in July 1987. Mrs. Gehrman moved into Sandhills Manor on Dec. 16, 1996.
Survivors include one daughter, Marion (Mrs. Glenn) Halouska of Sargent; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; and one brother, Harry Storm of Wahoo.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Leroy Storm.
