DICKINSON -- Charles A. Kadrmas, 95, Dickinson, died June 6, 2001, in the Dickinson hospital. Services will be held at 10 a.m. MDT Saturday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Dickinson. Burial will be in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, Dickinson. He is survived by his wife, Mildred; four children, Gladys Paluck, Belfield, and Roger, Chuck and Keary, all of Dickinson; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Semerad, Dickinson; and one brother, Laudie Kadrmas, Manning. Theodore Kessel

GRAFTON -- Kenneth L. McGregor, 63, Grafton, died June 6, 2001, in a Grafton medical center. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, Grafton. Burial will be in Soper Lutheran Cemetery, rural Fairdale. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine; two daughters, Julie Vetter, Minot, and Melanie Beauchamp, Bismarck; three sons, Ken, Minneapolis, Minn., Mark, Billings, Mont., and Duane, Wichita, Kan.; nine grandchildren; his mother, Sadie McGregor, Fairdale; one sister, Bonnie Stoa, Fairdale; and two brothers, G. John Zietz
John D. Zietz, 71, Bismarck, died June 6, 2001, in a local care center. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck. Further arrangements are pending.

Lillian Boehler
ZAP -- Lillian Boehler, 86, Zap, died Aug. 20, 2001, in the Beulah care center. Services will be held at 10 a.m. MDT Friday at Beulah Congregational Church, Beulah, with the Rev. John Fanella officiating. Burial will be in Peace Congregational Cemetery, north of Zap. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Seibel Funeral Home, Beulah. Lillian is survived by three sons and one daughter-in-law, Harvey and Carol Boehler and Orval Boehler, all of Zap, and Dale Boehler, Beulah; one daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Neal Dallman, Kenai, Alaska; 10 grandchildren, Connie Peterson, Bryce Boehler, Pat Bradford, Charmaine Boehler, Joyce Boehler, Steven Boehler, Katrina Boehler, Nick Dallman, Tammy Blevins and Tiffanie Boehler; 14 great-grandchildren; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Lydia and Alvin Weiderrich, Sidney, Mont., Marion and Mike Cayko, Coeur D'Alene, Idaho, Ruth Dodson, Daly City, Calif., and Annie and Elmer Pistole, Brentwood, Calif.; one brother and sister-in-law, Sam and Alda Mae Cook, Fairview, Mont.; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; four sisters, Pauline Bieber, Rachel Salas, Caroline Cummings and an infant sister, Esther; and four brothers, Roy, Ralph, Elmer and George.

John Bolstad
NAPOLEON -- John Bolstad, 92, Napoleon, died Aug. 20, 2001, in the Napoleon care center. Private family services will be held at a later date in Montana. He is survived by one daughter, Bonie Rohletter, Belgrade, Mont.; two granddaughters; one sister, Eunice Hildebrand, Napoleon; and one brother, Kenneth, Napoleon. (Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Napoleon)

Larry Chamberlain
SYKESTON -- Larry R. Chamberlain, 63, Sykeston, died Aug. 20, 2001, in the Carrington health center. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Carrington. He is survived by his wife, Mavis; one son, Todd, Bozeman, Mont.; one daughter, Tylea Chamberlain, Sykeston; three grandchildren; and one sister, Sharol Miller, Mounds View, Minn. WOODWORTH -- Gladys Clark, 75, Woodworth, died Aug. 21, 2001, in a Jamestown hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at American Lutheran Church, Woodworth. Further arrangements are pending with Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Amanda Edwards
Graveside services for Amanda Elizabeth Edwards, Napa, Calif., will be held at 1:30 p.m. PDT Saturday at Chapel of the Chimes, Napa, Calif. Amanda was born to Steve and Elizabeth Heidt in Bismarck. She lived in Washington, Maryland, North Carolina and California. She served in the Women's Army Corp. during the Korean Conflict, where she met and married the love of her life, Paul J. Edwards, on Oct. 1, 1955. She was predeceased by Paul on Dec. 24, 1971. A loving daughter, mother, sister and grandmother, our angel on earth will be missed forever. She was the sweetest, most generous, kind, beautiful person throughout her entire life. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Susie Edwards, Santee, Calif., and Douglas and Shelley Edwards, Napa, Calif.; two daughters, Diane Thomason and Susan Powell, both of Napa, Calif.; her grandchildren, Brandon and Trevor Edwards, Santee, Calif., Mary and Fred Thomason, Christina Edwards, Joshua and Vanessa Cook and Brandie, Dougie and Jacob Edwards, all of Napa, Calif.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond and Joyce Heidt, Salt Lake City, Utah, and Steve Jr. and Dallas Heidt, Yakima, Wash.; and three sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret and Robert Burke, Roseville, Calif., and Shirley and Eugene Lins and Katherine and Eugene Sutherland, all of Seattle, Wash.

Lance Giese
Lance Giese, 49, who was employed as a pharmacist at Glenwood Pharmacy, died Aug. 10, 2001, in a motorcycle accident near Sprague, Wash. Memorial services were held in Kendrick, Idaho. Lance was born May 6, 1952, at Bismarck, to Harlan and Millie Giese. He graduated from Bismarck High School in 1970 and from NDSU at Fargo in 1975. Lance married Carolyn Euting on June 6, 1975, in Devils Lake. They moved to Alaska and Lance was employed at Eagle River Pharmacy. They moved to Idaho in 1982 and built their current home on Teakean Butte. Lance was a member of Cameron Lutheran Church for 18 years. He loved outdoor sports, winter or summer, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He worked to preserve the land and wildlife. Besides his wife, Carolyn, he is survived by two daughters, Serena, 15, and Amanda, 13, both at home; two sisters, Mary Johnston and her husband Joe, Teakean Butte, and Patrice Giese, Grand Forks; his father, Harlan Giese, Story, Wyo.; his grandparents; and three nephews, Justin and Adam Johnson, Teakean Butte, and Logan Giese, Grand Forks. He was preceded in death by his mother, Millie Giese Pederson.

JAMESTOWN -- Andy W. Holm, 87, Jamestown, formerly of Kensal, died Aug. 21, 2001, in a Jamestown hospital. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Kensal United Methodist Church, Kensal. Further arrangements are pending with Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Josephine Hovland
Josephine Hovland, 94, Albuquerque, N.M., formerly of Jamestown, died Aug. 20, 2001, in Albuquerque. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown. Further arrangements are pending with Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Paul Jans
KULM -- Paul Jans, 47, Kulm, died Aug. 20, 2001, in the Ashley hospital. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Kulm Congregational Church. Further arrangements are pending with Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Kulm.

George Lee Jr.
George W. Lee Jr., Merced, Calif., died Aug. 17, 2001, in Merced. Services will be held at 1 p.m. PDT Friday at Church of the Nazarene, 1374 Shaffer Rd., Atwater, Calif., with the Revs. Orville Swanson and Rodney Wikoff officiating. Private burial will be held in San Joaquin National Cemetery, Gustine, Calif. Visitation will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. PDT Thursday at Ivers and Alcorn Funeral Home, Merced. George was born Nov. 18, 1926, in Sterling. He retired after 30 years as a customer service agent with United Airlines at Merced Airport. George was a graduate of Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho, and served in the United States Navy during World War II. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Agnes; his brother, Keith Lee, San Diego, Calif.; several nieces and nephews; his special friends, Marian Ratzloff and Kenny Ratzloff, both of Merced, and Nancy Robinson, Kansas City, Kan.; and close family members, Marilynn Shaggs, Nampa, Idaho, and Cindy Medlin, Merced. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, George Sr. and Mary Jane Lee, Sterling; and his brother, Stanley Lee, Los Angeles, Calif. Memorials in memory of George W. Lee Jr. may be made to Northwest Nazarene University, Nampa, Idaho; the Gideons; or the donor's choice.

Mary Malkowski
FAIRFIELD -- Mary Malkowski, 93, formerly of Fairfield, died Aug. 20, 2001, in the Killdeer care center. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Belfield. She is survived by her children, Philip and David, both of Fairfield, and Helen Clement, Kelso, Wash.; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Katherine Kordonway, Castle Rock, Wash., and Susie Arneson, Tacoma, Wash. Lucille Meek
WILLISTON -- Lucille Meek, 94, Williston, died Aug. 18, 2001, in a Williston care center. Private family services were held Aug. 21 at Everson Funeral Home, Williston. Burial was in Cow Creek Cemetery, rural Williston. She is survived by three sons, Merle, Williston, Robert, Minot, and Gary, Rapid City, S.D.; two daughters, Donna Nestegard, McVille, and Nancey Moore, Dallas, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Raymond Nelson, California; and one sister, Mildred Aylsworth, Montana.

Burial will be in Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown. Nelle Borman
Nelle M. Borman, 99, Bismarck, died Aug. 20, 2001, in a Bismarck care center. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead, Minn.
