Ole Nyhusmoen
SHEYENNE -- Ole Nyhusmoen, 84, Sheyenne, died Feb. 24, 2001, in a Fargo care center. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Lutheran Church, Sheyenne. Further arrangements are pending at Evans Funeral Home, New Rockford.

Kristi A. Blanding
HARVEY -- Kristi A. Blanding, 58, Harvey, died Feb. 25, 2001, in a Harvey medical center. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Lutheran Church, Harvey. Futher arrangements are pending with Hertz Funeral Homes, Harvey.

Ervin E. Felch
TUTTLE -- Ervin E. Felch, 83, Tuttle, died Feb. 25, 2001, in a Bismarck hospital. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at English Lutheran Church, Tuttle, with the Rev. Allen Wagner officiating. Burial will be held in the spring in Tuttle Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m. today at Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck. Visitation will continue from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Eastgate Steele Chapel, where a prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Ervin was born March 10, 1917, in Haynes Township, Kidder County, the son of Herbert and Emma (Richardson) Felch. He grew up and attended schools in the Tuttle area. Ervin married Fern Jenner Sept. 13, 1939, in Steele. Following their marriage, they farmed in the Steele and Tuttle areas until 1979, when they retired and moved to Tuttle. He is survived by one son and two daughters-in-law, Truman and Violet, and Sharol Felch, all of Tuttle; one daughter and son-in-law, DeLila and Sidney Larson, Tuttle; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, LaVon Zerr, Tuttle, and Sylvia Subart, Robinson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Fern; one son, Darwin; one granddaughter, Vickie Felch; his parents; four brothers, Russel, Burt, Roy and Gerald; and four sisters, Erma, Beth, Nina and Pearl.

Orlee Fisher
SOLEN -- Orlee Fisher, 80, Solen, died Feb. 25, 2001, in a Bismarck hospital. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Spirit of Life Catholic Church, Mandan, with the Rev. Cyprian Meier officiating. Burial will be in Mandan Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, where a Parish Vigil will be held at 7 p.m. and an Odense Verein Rosary will be held at 8 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Weigel Funeral Home, and will continue from noon until services at the church. Orlee Fisher, the son of Emil and Alice (Philipe) Fisher, was born March 3, 1920, in rural St. Anthony. He was raised and educated in the St. Anthony area. On Sept. 3, 1940, he was united in marriage to Margaret Fleck in St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Anthony. Orlee farmed and ranched on his farm, where he and Orlee John and his family were presently living. He was a Morton County Deputy Sheriff for the Solen area for five years. Orlee was a lifetime member of St. Anthony Parish, and a member of the Odense Verein and Mandan Moose Lodge. Orlee was a generous man who always had a hot cup of coffee and a meal for anyone who came to visit. His family was very important to him. He especially enjoyed the family picnics, fishing, farming, ranching and dancing the polka and the waltz. He always took the time to visit with family and friends. Orlee was a very dedicated man who took great pride in his family and work. He liked horses and Black Angus cattle and his dogs. Orlee always gave his dogs special names. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; two sons and daughters-in-law, Wilbert and Donna, and Orlee John and Delila, all of Solen; two daughters and sons-in-law, Alberta and Leonard Berger, St. Anthony, and Pearl and Richard Rhone, Center; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Sr., St. Anthony, and Arnold, Mandan; and two sisters, Iola Gifford, Flasher, and Alice Lundstrom, Mandan. He was preceded in death by his parents; one granddaughter, Rebecca Lynn Fisher; six brothers, Elmer, Emil, Arthur, Clifford, Glenn and infant Adolph; and one infant sister, Garnett.

Duane W. Hibner
BISON, S.D. -- Duane W. Hibner, 79, Bison, died Feb. 24, 2001, in a Hettinger medical center. Services will be held at 1 p.m. MST Friday at Bentley Memorial Building, Bison. Burial will be in Chance Cemetery. He is survived by two sons, Dewey, Newell, S.D., and Bill, Faith, S.D.; two daughters, Geraldine Wells, Bison, and Lumeda, Custer, S.D.; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Marguerite Aaker, Rapid City, S.D. Ray Kalervo Juhola
Ray Kalervo Juhola, 85, Bismarck, died Feb. 24, 2001, at his home. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at McCabe United Methodist Church, Bismarck. Ray Kalervo Juhola was born May 17, 1915, in Braddock, the son of Jalmer and Alma Mandalene Juhola. He graduated from Braddock High School. He married Helen Adams in 1936. He farmed and operated a garage in Braddock until 1944. Ray served in the North Dakota State Legislature from 1940 to 1942. He was a member of the Braddock City Council and served on the school board. Ray moved to Linton where he owned and operated with his wife the Juhola Rooming House and Linton Electric and Plumbing. He served on the school board for 20 years. He served as Justice of the Peace, Past Master of Linton Masonic Lodge and Past Patron of the Linton Eastern Star. In 1966 Ray moved to Minot and worked for the Civil Service at Minot Air Force Base until 1986. He and his wife owned and operated the Spinning Wheel Yarn and Craft Shop. He was a member of the Masonic, Eastern Star, Shrine and Scottish Rites Lodges. Ray was also a life member of the Elks and Good Sam Club, and a member of the Eagles, Moose, Sons of Norway and the Finnish Society. After the death of his beloved wife and partner Ray moved to Bismarck to live with his daughter Patricia and her husband Paul Shannon. He is survived by two daughters, Patricia, Bismarck, and Judyth Woehl, Redfield, S.D.; four sons, Donald, Chelmsford, Mass., Douglas, Whitefish, Mont., Kirby, Milwaukee, Ore., and Jack, Billings, Mont.; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and four brothers, Ero and Leo, both of Washington, Uno, Oregon, and Carl, Maine. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen; his parents; and one sister, Linda Carper. The family prefers memorials to Pancreatic Cancer Research. (Bismarck Funeral Home)

Charles J. Mann
JAMESTOWN -- Charles J. Mann, 57, Jamestown, N.D. died Feb. 24, 2001, at his home. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Basilica of St. James, Jamestown, with the Rev. Bernard Pfau officiating, and at 11 a.m. Friday at Christ the King Church, Mandan, with the Rev. Albert Leary officiating. Burial will be in North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan. He is survived by one daughter, Kerri Soulis, Jamestown; one son, David, Fargo; two stepchildren, Korie Odegard and Jason Schaeffer, both of Jamestown; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six sisters, Mary Mann, Mandan, Clara Sorenson, Ogden, Utah, Carola Sirucek, Big Fork, Mont., Issabell Besserud, Casper, Wyo., Ann Grannan, Marian, Iowa, and Agnes Fowler, Midland, Texas; and two brothers, Robert, Bismarck, and James, Waseca, Minn. Anna D. Masterson
WEST FARGO -- Anna D. Masterson, 84, West Fargo, formerly of Buffalo, died Feb. 22, 2001, at her home. Services were held Feb. 26, 2001, at Buffalo Lutheran Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. She is survived by two daughters, Roann Masterson and Marsha Johnston, both of West Fargo; one stepdaughter, Ila Jean Carpenter, Fort Collins, Colo.; one brother, Clair Boyd, Buffalo; two sisters, Lila Boyd, Fargo, and Charlene Botts, Enterprise, Ore.; and two grandchildren. William J. Pace
William J. "Bill" Pace, 64, Bismarck, died Feb. 25, 2001, at his daughter's home. Services will be held at noon Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bismarck, with the Rev. Charlie Heidt officiating. Burial will be in North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan. Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m. today at Perry Funeral Home, Mandan. Bill was born June 17, 1936, in Minot, the son of Glenn and Jennie (Helseth) Pace. He was raised and educated in Wolseth. He graduated from Minot High School in 1954 and then attended NDSU. He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1960. On Oct. 14, 1961, Bill married Kathleen Wagner in South Heart. Bill was an avid aviator and entrepreneur. He owned and operated Southwest Arial Spraying Service and Wild Rose Pilot Service for many years. His two greatest passions were his family and flying. He also enjoyed photography. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Beth and Reid Anderson, Bismarck, and Brooke and Kevin Melby, Minot; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Scott and Joy, Devils Lake, Todd and Michelle, Bismarck and David Pace and Cara Armstrong, Fargo; 15 grandchildren, Brenton, Kathleen, Cassandra, William and Benjimen Pace, Anthony, Breanne and David Anderson, McKenzi, Ashton and London Pace, Paige and Noah Melby, and Carlee and Josh Elke; the mother of his children, Kathleen Pace, Bismarck; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Gloria and Bill West, Hillsboro, Ohio, Lorna and John Borghero, Brooklyn, N.Y. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Agnes T. Swartz
Agnes T. Swartz, 89, Bismarck, formerly of Grafton, died Feb. 25, 2001, at her home. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Waterford Apartments, Bismarck, with the Rev. Darrell Aleson officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Bismarck Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Grafton Lutheran Church, Grafton, with the Rev. H. Chris Hallanger officiating. Burial will be held in the spring in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held two hours prior to services at the church. Agnes was born Dec. 9, 1911, in Grafton, the daughter of Olaus and Thora (Hegstad) Field. She was a graduate of Grafton High School and Valley City State Teachers College. Agnes married Ludwig Swartz July 24, 1940, in Park River. Ludwig died in December 1986. Agnes loved teaching and enjoyed her many years in Minto as a teacher, where she and Ludwig were longtime residents. She loved reading, especially about history, English, geography and current events. She is survived by one son, Mark, Bismarck; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marlys and Ted Helms, Fargo, and Kay and Fred Karnik, Bismarck; his grandchildren, Jacqueline Bavaro, Douglas Swartz, Lynn Jorde, and James, Melissa and Jennifer Karnik; his great-grandchildren, Ashley and Natalie Lyng; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Helmer and Bernice Field, Grafton, and William and Runa Field, Grafton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ludwig; one grandson, Jared Karnik; her parents; four brothers; and two sisters.

Merril G. TenBroek
MCINTOSH, S.D. -- Merril G. TenBroek, 78, McIntosh, died Feb. 24, 2001, in the Mobridge hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, McIntosh. Burial will be in TenBroek Family Cemetery, north of McIntosh. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; one daughter, Beverly Tibke, Manhattan, Kan.; three sons, Darrel, Ten Sleep, Who., and Arthur and David, both of McIntosh; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one brother, Wayne, Watertown, Wisc. Lillie Thomas
GRENORA -- Lillie Thomas, 93, Grenora, died Feb. 24, 2001, in a Williston medical center. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, Grenora. Further arrangements are pending with Everson Funeral Home, Williston.

Roy V. Ulmen
TIOGA -- Roy V. Ulmen, 73, Tioga, died Feb. 24, 2001, in a Minot medical center. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Tioga. Further arrangements are pending with Fulkerson Funeral Home, Tioga.

Marguerite Aaker
BISON, S.D. -- Marguerite Aaker, 84, Bison, S.D., died Feb. 27, 2001, in a Rapid City, S.D., hospital. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Bentley Memorial Building, Bison. Burial will be in the city cemetery. She is survived by one daughter, Sharon Hill, Rapid City, S.D.; three grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren. Duane Barnes
Duane Barnes, 41, Siren, Wisc., died Feb. 25, 2001, in Siren. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster, Wisc. There will be no burial as cremation is taking place. He is survived by his wife, DeLayne; three children, Elizabeth, Bert and Robert Barnes; his parents, Josephine and Robert Barnes; and one sister, Roberta Barnes.
