Feb. 24, 1945 in Killdeer, the daughter of Mike and Mildred (Jelik) Burian. She was raised and educated in Belfield, graduating from Belfield High School. She attended Dickinson State College in Dickinson for one year. On Jan. 18, 1964, she married
Martin J. Orgaard at St. Bernard's Church, Belfield. Beverly worked as a secretary at Bismarck Tire Center for 10 years and did sales and secretarial work for D'Joyce Photography for 17 years. Beverly was a friendly, caring, loving and outgoing person. Her personality drew people to her laughter. She enjoyed dancing, water and snow skiing, working the soil and horseback riding. Camping and holiday get-togethers were always favorites of Beverly's because it was time spent with her loving family, especially her grandchildren, who were the love of her life. She is survived by her husband, Martin, Center; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jesse and Josie, Bismarck, and Cam and Jennifer, Seattle; two grandchildren, Kristy and Tyler Orgaard, Bismarck; her mother, Mildred Jilek Burian, Dickinson; one brother, Michael Burian, Belfield; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Michaelette Olson, Baldwin, and Sandy and Bob Kuch, Hannover; five nephews; and two nieces. She was preceded in death by her father, Mike; and one nephew, Layton Olson.

Philip Wolf
GLEN ULLIN -- Philip Wolf, 82, Glen Ullin, died Feb. 4, 2001, in a Bismarck nursing home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. MST Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Glen Ullin, with the Rev. Sebastian Schmidt OSB officiating. Burial will be in North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, rural Mandan, with military rites provided by Higbee Post No. 239 of the American Legion. Visitation begins at 3 p.m. today at the church, where a prayer service and rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Visitation will be ongoing until time of services. Philip Wolf was born
Jan. 15, 1919 in the St. Placidus area near Mott, the son of Rogus and Cecelia (Klein) Wolf. He was raised and educated in the St. Placidus area. He entered the U.S. Army on Dec. 31, 1940 and served as a medic in the Aleutian Islands. Following his discharge on Oct. 11, 1944 he returned to the area. He married
Mary Hellman on June 19, 1945 at St. Joseph Church in rural Glen Ullin. Following marriage they farmed near Mott. In 1954 they moved to a farm south of Glen Ullin where they farmed until 1979 when they moved into town. Philip also worked with Joe Hellman in construction for many years. After he retired in the early 1980s, he enjoyed visiting with his children and loved spending time with the grandchildren. Feeding and watching birds was a hobby he enjoyed. He also spent many hours with his flowers and creating wonderful works of art for his family and friends to have and admire forevermore. He was a member of the Catholic War Veterans, Glen Ullin American Legion and St. Joseph Men's Society. He is survived by his wife, Mary; five daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene and Larry Kueffler, Lemmon, S.D., Carol and Steven Rosin, Woodbridge, Calif., Janet and Richard Ellwood, Albany, Ore., Joyce and David Holkup, Wahpeton; and Marie and Russell Jaeger, Washburn; one son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Roselyn, Bismarck; 17 grandchildren and four step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Margaret Miller, Great Falls, Mont.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
