KULM -- Emily Isaak, 96, Kulm, died Oct. 10, 2000, in the Wishek nursing home. Arrangements are pending at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Kulm.

Jack Jablonski
MEDINA -- Jack Jablonski, 82, Medina, died Oct. 9, 2000, in his home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at United Church of Christ, Medina, with burial in Medina Cemetery. He is survived by four daughters, Sharon Cummings, Cavalier, Marilyn Reule, Menoken, Karen Brendel, McKenzie, and Vivian Borth-Smith, Denton, Texas; two sons, Lyle and Gene, both of Medina; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one sister, Dorothy, Monroe, Wash. Michael D. Johnson
ANAMOOSE -- Michael D. Johnson, 46, Anamoose, died Oct. 9, 2000, in a Garrison hospital of injuries sustained in a one-vehicle accident. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Velva. Further arrangements are pending at Bethke-Nelson Funeral Home, Drake.

TIOGA -- Darrel Lambrecht, 68, Tioga, died Oct. 9, 2000, in the Tioga hospital. Arrangements are pending at Fulkerson Funeral Home, Tioga.

John Myrdal
EDINBURG -- John Myrdal, 76, Edinburg, died Oct. 9, 2000, in his home. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Pioneer Lutheran Church, Gardar, with burial in Gardar Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary; two daughters, Jan Morrell, Vienna, Va., and Amy Myrdal, Framingham, Maine; three sons, Mark, Edinburg, Harold, Park River, and Paul, Edinburg; nine grandchildren; and one sister, Norma Tiffany, Holland, Ohio. Theresa Raab
GLADSTONE -- Theresa Raab, 92, rural Gladstone, died Oct. 9, 2000 at her home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. MDT Thursday, at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, Lefor. Burial will be in the church cemetery. She is survived by one son, Irving, rural Gladstone; and one daughter, Regina Roth, rural Gladstone. (Price-Murphy Funeral Home, Dickinson)

Walter W. Remboldt
UNDERWOOD -- Walter W. Remboldt, 80, Underwood, died Oct. 9, 2000, in the Underwood nursing home. Services will be held at noon Thursday at Boelter Funeral Home, Bismarck, with the Rev. Darrel Aleson officiating. Burial will be in North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, rural Mandan. Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Thursday at Boelter Funeral Home. Walter was born icon Dec. 5, 1919, on the family farm north of Gackle, the son of Peter and Fredricka (Tesky) Remboldt. He was raised and educated in Gackle. He joined the military in 1945, where he served in the U.S., Alaska and as an interpreter in Germany. He also served in the Korean War. After surviving 20 years in the military, he worked road construction in Tacoma, Wash. He is survived by two daughters, Sandra Lee Remboldt, Mississippi, and Joyce Sylvia Remboldt, California; and one sister, Leona Suko, Gackle. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Emanual, Ervin and Harry; two sisters, Lydia and Hulda; and two sons, Ronald and Emanual.

Frank Schmidt
HEBRON -- Frank Schmidt, 87, Hebron, died Oct. 8, 2000, in a Glen Ullin care center. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. MDT Wednesday at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Hebron, with the Rev. Francis dos Remedios, OSB, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation begins after 4 p.m. MDT today at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Hebron, with a parish rosary at 7:30 p.m. MDT tonight at the church. Frank Schmidt was born icon on Jan. 10, 1913, in Glen Ullin to Jacob and Anna (Glass) Schmidt. He was raised and educated in rural Hebron. He married icon Loretta Gauer on June 28, 1937, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glen Ullin. Following their marriage, they farmed with his parents until he bought his own farm in 1941. Frank and Loretta farmed until they retired and moved into Hebron in 1994, where he had resided until spring of this year, when he entered the Marian Manor in Glen Ullin. He was past rural fire district board member. He is survived by his wife, Loretta; one daughter, Janet (Delbert) Hellman, Williston; three sons, Walter, Hebron, Clifford (Joyce), Hebron, and Jerry (Roberta), Bismarck; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; and three brothers, John, Bismarck, Conrad, Wadena, Minn., Carl, Gray Eagle, Minn., and one sister, Elsie McCart, Seattle, Wash. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Henry, Jack and Nick. (Spangelo Funeral Home, Hebron)

Kermit Bergsgaard
MADDOCK -- Kermit Bergsgaard, 84, rural Maddock, died Oct. 10, 2000, in the Harvey hospital. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Viking Lutheran Church, rural Maddock. Burial will be in the church cemetery. He is survived by one brother, Arnold, LaCrosse, Wis. (Nelson Funeral Home, Maddock)

Dawn R. Chesrown
CARSON -- Dawn R. Chesrown, 56, Bismarck, died Oct. 9, 2000, at her home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. MDT today at First Presbyterian Church, Carson, with the Rev. Ken Trauna officiating. Burial will be in Carson Cemetery. Serving as casketbearers are Jerry and Steven Weinberger, Guy Chesrown, Kelvin Wells, Richard Bahm and Butch Winkler. Dawn Raye Chesrown was born icon July 16, 1944 at Bismarck, to Jack W. and Phyllis A. (Spicer) Chesrown. She lived on the family farmstead, south of Carson, until 1954. They moved into Carson where Dawn attended school and graduated from Carson High School in 1962. She attended Capitol Commercial College in Bismarck for one year where she earned a secretarial degree. From 1964 to 1968, Dawn worked as a file clerk in Washington, D.C. for the FBI. She then returned to Bismarck where she worked for a car dealership and then an attorney. For nearly the next 10 years she worked for the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation. In 1986, Dawn started working in the circulation department at the North Dakota State Library until her health began to fail. In 1998 she was diagnosed with a lung disease and since November 1999 had been on the lung transplant list. Dawn loved dancing, attending rodeos and was an avid animal lover, especially liking horses. Surviving family members include her father, Jack Chesrown, Carson; one brother and sister-in-law, Vaughn and Lynda Chesrown, Carson; one sister and brother-in-law, Lori and Mike Cada, LaJunta, Colo.; and two nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother. (Evanson-Jensen Funeral Home, Elgin)

Hilda Diehl
CARSON -- Hilda Diehl, 93, Carson, died Oct. 12, 2000, in the Elgin hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. MDT Saturday at Emmaus UCC Church, Carson. Burial will be in Emmaus UCC Cemetery, near Carson. She is survived by two sons, Darwyn, Carson, and Henry, Mesa, Ariz.; one daughter, Phyllis Roth, Elgin; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Leona Suko, Woodbury, Minn., and Lavina DelMonte, Elk Grove, Calif. Curtis Doolittle
Curtis Doolittle, 64, Bismarck, died Oct. 12, 2000, in a Bismarck hospital. Arrangements are pending with Bismarck Funeral Home.

Barbara E. Fix
HARVEY -- Barbara E. Fix, 88, Harvey, died Oct. 11, 2000, in the Harvey nursing home. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Harvey. Burial will be held at 1 p.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery, Selz. She is survived by two sons, Alvin, Warroad, Minn., and Joseph, Lynnwood, Wash.; two daughters, Angie Goldade, Minot, and Marlene Ripplinger, Harvey; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Raymond W. Iszler
ASHLEY -- Raymond W. Iszler, 75, Ashley, died Oct. 11, 2000, in a Bismarck hospital. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Ashley. Further arrangements are pending with Carlsen Funeral Home, Ashley.

Martha Kramer
Martha Kramer, 95, Bismarck, died Oct. 12, 2000, in a local care center. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck, with the Rev. Steve Sathre officiating. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Elgin. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Martha Kramer was born icon Nov. 12, 1904 in Russia, the daughter of Fredrick and Caroline (Schable) Kramer. Martha was raised in Elgin. She moved to Bismarck in 1958 where she was employed by the Patterson Hotel. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Bismarck. Martha was an honest person who enjoyed life and got along well with other people. She is survived by one brother, Alvin Kramer, Bismarck; and two sisters and one brother-in-law, Lydia and John Koch, Bismarck, and Frieda Stock, Wishek. She was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.

Anne Martell
NEW ROCKFORD -- Anne Martell, 87, New Rockford, died Oct. 11, 2000, in the New Rockford nursing home. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Lutheran Church, New Rockford. Further arrangements are pending with Evans Funeral Home, New Rockford.

Ruth Miller
TURTLE LAKE -- Ruth Miller, 83, Turtle Lake, died Oct. 12, 2000, in the Turtle Lake hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Turtle Lake Baptist Church, with the Rev. Graham Kern officiating. Burial will be in Turtle Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Goetz Funeral Home, Turtle Lake, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church. Casketbearers will be Keith Landsiedel, Jay Landsiedel, Travis Miller, Justin Miller, Michael Birst, Steven Miller and Dylan Miller. Honorary casketbearers are all of Ruth's granddaughters. Ruth Brenneise was born icon Dec. 30, 1916 at rural Washburn, to Jacob and Selena (Giedd) Brenneise. She grew up on her parents farm northeast of Washburn where she attended rural school. She married icon Bennie Miller on June 18, 1939 at Washburn. The couple farmed east of Turtle Lake for 40 years. They retired in 1977 and moved into Turtle Lake. Bennie passed away on March 6, 1990. Ruth worked for a short time in the cafeteria at the Turtle Lake School. She also worked in the laundry division of the Turtle Lake Memorial Hospital. Ruth enjoyed embroidery and was a member of the Turtle Lake Baptist Church where she was active with the Ladies Aid. She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Ardella and Cleo Landsiedel, Turtle Lake, Sharon Landsiedel, Mandan, and Maxine and Dennis Birst, California; three sons and daughters-in-law, Duane and Karen, Glenburn, Jerald and Betty, Turtle Lake, and Douglas and Susan, Underwood; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Emma Reinsma, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and two brothers.
