Gloria Hauge
DICKINSON -- Gloria S. Hauge, 52, Dickinson, died July 10, 1997, in a Bismarck hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. MDT Monday at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Dickinson, with the Rev. Steve Tangen officiating. Burial will be in Dickinson Mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. to noon Monday at Mischel-Olson Chapel, Dickinson, and will continue at the church one hour before services.
Gloria, a daughter of Joseph and Anna (Mahowald) Reznick, was born born July 13, 1944, in Elbowoods. She was raised and educated in the Garrison and Parshall areas, graduating from Parshall High School in 1962. On Sept. 8, 1962, she married Dwayne Hauge in Parshall. They moved to California in 1964, where she worked as a secretary. They returned to North Dakota in 1966 and lived in Dickinson.
Gloria loved crocheting, and spending time boating, gardening and cooking. She was a very caring person who loved to communicate with others.
She is survived by her husband, Dwayne; one son, Dewey J., San Carlos, Calif.; and one sister and brother-in-law, JoAnn and Don Fuerstenberg, Mandan; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
Elden Schlittenhart
Elden Schlittenhart, 53, Devils Lake, died July 2, 1997, in the Rugby hospital. Services were July 5 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, Devils Lake, with the Rev. Jerry Carlson officiating. Burial was in Devils Lake Cemetery.
Elden was born March 17, 1944, at Hazelton, the son of Fred and Katie (Ohlhauser) Schlittenhart. He was educated at Hazelton and Bismarck. He was united in marriage to Sharon Wahl, June 8, 1966, in Bismarck. They moved to Devils Lake in 1976, where he has since lived. Elden enjoyed bowling, fishing and softball.
He married Gloria French, May 7, 1993, in Devils Lake.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria; his mother, Katie Schlittenhart, Bismarck; three sons, Donald, Minnesota, and Gregg and Kyle, both of Devils Lake; six stepchildren, Rob Wahl, Bismarck, Jeff Wahl, David Bohn and Dale Bohn, all of Devils Lake, Olivia Rowell, Fargo, and Benjamin French, Leonard; two sisters, Gladys Humann, Mandan, and Marlean Ohlhauser, Minneapolis; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fred; one brother; and one stepson.
George Clarke
DICKINSON -- George Robert Clarke, 73, Dickinson, died July 3, 1997, in his home. Services will be at 10 a.m. MDT Thursday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Dickinson, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by two sisters, Blanche Cummings, Dickinson, and Rosemary Tebault, West Sun City, Ariz. (Price-Murphy Funeral Home, Dickinson)

Robert Gesinger
Robert Leroy Gesinger, 62, formerly of Bismarck, died of lung cancer, June 6, 1997. Memorial services were June 16 at Edmunds, Wash.
He is survived by his wife, Marion; one daughter, Teresa; and three sisters, Mary Andera, Arlene Rudy, Port Orchard, Wash., and Virginia, Washington.
John Schneider
Memorial services for John G. Schneider, 44, Reno, Nev., will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bismarck.
Arvid Stubstad
NEW TOWN -- Arvid E. Stubstad, 72, New Town, died July 5, 1997, in a New Town hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, New Town, with burial in North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, rural Mandan at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
He is survived by his wife, Margie; three sons, Mike, Wahpeton, and Wayne and Tim, both of New Town; one daughter, Sandy Jenkins, Edina, Minn.; two brothers, Carroll, Pelican Rapids, Minn., and Donald, Inverness, Fla.; and one sister, Ona Jean Gregor, Portage, Ind. (Johnson Funeral Home, New Town)

Lizzie Anderson
HETTINGER -- Lizzie Anderson, 91, Hettinger, died July 4, 1997, in the Hettinger hospital. Services will be today at Hettinger Lutheran Church.

Chris Bollinger
ELLENDALE -- Chris G. Bollinger, 93, Monango, died July 5, 1997, in the Ellendale nursing home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Monango, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Clara; two sons, Victor and Gerald, both of Wahpeton; and three daughters, Corrine Haussler, Gwinner, Luella Zinter, Monango, and Mary Pathman, Valdez, Alaska. (Carlsen Funeral Home, Ellendale)
Harris Lang
Harris A. Lang, 88, 427 S. Washington St., died July 5, 1997, in a Fargo hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Bismarck, with the Rev. Stephen Wisthoff officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck, with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1326.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Eastgate Funeral Service, and will continue at the church one hour before services.
Harris Albin Lang was born Aug. 21, 1908, in Underwood, the son of Carl and Leah (Rott) Lang. He was raised and educated in the McClusky area. Harris married Martha Braunberger, Nov. 26, 1931, in McClusky. They farmed near McClusky before moving into McClusky in 1941. Harris served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He also served as chief of police in McClusky for several years. They moved to Mandan in 1958, where Harris worked at the State Industrial School until his retirement.
He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Jane and Harold Trett, Detroit Lakes, Minn., and Maida and Jerry Gilbraith, Fargo; one son and daughter-in-law, Dick and Joan, Bismarck; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three brothers; four sisters; many nieces and nephews; and a very special friend, Esther Wegner, Bismarck.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, in 1988; four brothers and sisters; and one grandson.
Margaret Wright
Margaret Wright, 87, Hazelton, died July 6, 1997, in her home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Hazelton, with the Rev. Jeffrey Zwack officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. today at Myers Funeral Home, Linton, and will continue at the church one hour before services. A rosary will be said at 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Margaret was born Oct. 27, 1909, on a farm near Hague, the daughter of Peter and Adelhaid (Fischer) Mastel. She attended school at Hazelton. On Aug. 9, 1938, she married Ernest W. Wright at Bismarck. They farmed north of Hazelton until 1979, when they retired and moved into Hazelton. Ernest died Oct. 8, 1984.
Margaret was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She loved her family, her cats and gardening.
She is survived by three daughters and one son-in-law, Joan Mastel and Alice Johnson, both of Longmont, Colo., Eyvonne and Bill White, Louisville, Colo.; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, John, Hazelton, and Sebastian, Missouri; and six sisters, Regina Clemence, Washington, Martha Helfenstein, Bismarck, Rose Volberding, Livingston, Mont., Helen Andrus, Dickinson, and Betty Krautkremer and Judy Tomezak, both of Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and five brothers.
William `Bill' Schick
PETTIBONE -- William ``Bill" Schick, 84, Pettibone, died July 6, 1997, in a Bismarck hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Pettibone, with burial in Petersville Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown, where a prayer service will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
William was born Jan. 27, 1913, at Peterville Township, near Pettibone, the son of Frederick and Magdalena (Martin) Schick. He grew up and attended Petersville Township School. He was confirmed in 1928 at Zion Lutheran Church, Petersville Township. He married Linda Otto, June 20, 1940, at Zion Lutheran Church, Petersville Township. They farmed in Petersville Township until retiring in 1975. He spent 83 years living in Petersville Township. They moved to Pettibone in 1995.
Bill was a church elder for 27 years and Petersville Township Clerk for 35 years, AAL treasurer for 15 years, and served on the church finance committee for six years. He was Lutheran Laymens' League secretary for 20 years and treasurer of Our Savior's Lutheran Church for two years. Bill also was president of Kidder County Counsel on Aging from 1990 to 1993, and was still president of the Pettibone Senior Citizens, a position he held for six years. Bill loved hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; two sons and daughters-in-law, Arnold and Carol, Ada, Minn., and Marlin and Della, Bismarck; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Gust and Harriet, Jamestown, and Jake and Bertha, Pettibone; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Edward LeRoy; three sisters, Magdalena Schick, Pauline Schick Guthmiller and Mathilda Schick Walz; and one brother, Frederick.
Orville Zimbelman
Orville A. Zimbelman, 81, Sauk Centre, Minn., died July 5, 1997, in a Sauk Centre hospital. Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at McClusky Baptist Church, with burial in McClusky Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hertz Funeral Home, McClusky.
Orville was born May 22, 1916, near Sawyer, to Carl and Katie Zimbelman. He attended country school in the Anamoose and Goodrich areas. As a young man he worked for area farmers. He moved to San Francisco where he worked for 40 years as a welder in the shipyards for Bethlehem Steel. He retired in 1982. He moved to Sioux Falls, S.D., in April 1996, and in September 1996, moved to Sauk Centre.
He is survived by five brothers, Hilmer, Sauk Centre, Robert, Webster, N.Y., Waldemar, St. Petersburg, Fla., Carl, Dallas, and Ernest, Sioux Falls; two sisters, Adeline Kopf, Glendale Heights, Ill., and Vera Wahl, Hazen; and one sister-in-law, Alice Zimbleman, Bismarck.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother, Paul; and one brother, Herbert.
Walter Neugebauer
Walter Ernest Neugebauer, 97, Baker, Ore., died June 28, 1997, in a Baker hospital. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bismarck.
Walter was born July 18, 1899, in Emmons County, the son of Anton and Marie (Schnoor) Neugebauer. He was raised in Emmons and Burleigh counties before moving to Oregon in the late 1930s.
He is survived by one sister, Minnie Small, Bakersfield, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Herbert, Arnold and Irwin; and five sisters, Elfrieda Story, Hilda Neugebauer, Selma Neth, Olga Erickson and Florence Brown.
