Esther L. Reimche, 82, Harvey, died Nov. 12, 1997, in a Harvey nursing home. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Mennonite Brethren Church, Harvey. Burial will be in Country Mennonite Brethren Cemetery, rural Harvey.

MINNEWAUKAN -- Ivy P. Sears, 82, Minnewaukan, died Nov. 9, 1997, in the Devils Lake hospital. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church, Minnewaukan. Burial will be in Minnewaukan Cemetery.

Alexander and Patrick Toepke
Alexander Blake and Patrick August Toepke, twin sons of Travis Toepke and Tonya Adams, were stillborn Nov. 11, 1997, in a Bismarck hospital. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Boelter Funeral Home, with the Rev. Charles Heidt officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bismarck.
They are survived by their parents, Travis and Tonya; their grandparents, Robert and Janice Adams, Kathy and Howard Jerome, Roxanne and Clifford Tangasdahl, and Patrick Toepke and Anne Luewer; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
They will be loved, cared for and in our hearts and lives forever.

ELGIN -- Lillian L. Zeller, 85, Elgin, died Nov. 11, 1997, in the Elgin hospital. Services will be 11 a.m. MST Friday at Zion Lutheran Church, Elgin. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

FORT YATES -- Cornella Mahto-We Cutler, 24, Fort Yates, died Nov. 8, 1997, in McLaughlin, S.D. Services will be 10 a.m. CST Tuesday at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Fort Yates. Burial will be in St. James Episcopal Church Cemetery, Cannon Ball.
She is survived by one daughter, LaSheila Marron of Fort Yates; one son, DeShante Cutler of Mobridge, S.D.; her father, Grey Cutler of Fort Yates; her mother, Phyllis Ireland of Poplar, Mont.; one brother, Joel Gould of Pipestone, Minn.; and four sisters, Sando Cutler of St. Cloud, Minn., Vicky Birds Head and Shannon Ray, both of Fort Yates, and Medicine Stone Cutler of Fargo. Ellen Feser
GLEN ULLIN -- Ellen Feser, 75, Glen Ullin, died Nov. 13, 1997, at her home. Services will be 10:30 a.m. MST Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Glen Ullin, with the Revs. Claude Seeberger and Victor Feser officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery, with military rites provided by Lawrence Higbee Post No. 239.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. Sunday, ongoing at the church until the service on Monday. A wake service will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Organist will be Alison Duppong and special music will be provided by the Sacred Heart Choir.
Ellen was born on Aug. 16, 1922, to William and Agnes (Tavis) Bahr. She attended Sacred Heart Grade School and Glen Ullin High School prior to graduating in 1943 from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minn.
On Oct. 21, 1943, she enlisted in the WAVES, a division of the Navy. She was discharged on Dec. 22, 1945.
Following her discharge, she worked at several hospitals as a medical technologist.
She married Alois Feser on Oct. 4, 1969, in Glen Ullin. Following their marriage, they farmed in rural Glen Ullin.
She enjoyed farm life immensely. Her hobbies included outdoor photography, bird watching, and local history.
She was a charter member of Glen Ullin Historical Society, a member of Morton County Historical Society and an organist for Sacred Heart Church for more than 20 years.
She is survived by her husband, Alois; one sister, Lorene Rubel of Villa Bark, Ill.; several nieces and nephews; and two sisters-in-law, Alberta Feser and Hilda Berger, both of Glen Ullin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Florence and Jean; and one brother, Richard.

Herbert Krueger
FREDONIA -- Herbert Krueger, 77, Fredonia, died Nov. 14, 1997, in a Bismarck hospital. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at United Methodist Church, Lehr. Burial will be in Lehr City Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Katie of Wishek; one son, Daniel of Fredonia; one daughter, Linda Boschee of Wishek; and one brother, Arthur of Fredonia. (Haut Funeral Home, Wishek)
Arthur Meidinger
WISHEK -- Arthur C. "Art" Meidinger, 91, Wishek, died Nov. 13, 1997, in the Wishek nursing home. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at United Church of Christ, Wishek. Burial will be in New Kassel Cemetery, rural Zeeland.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. today and 1-8 p.m. Sunday, both at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Wishek; and for one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.
Casketbearers will be Jason Meidinger, Curtis Meidinger, Russell Meidinger, Randall Meidinger, Patrick Marback and James Bettenhausen. Honorary casketbearers are all grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Arthur was born on Oct. 26, 1906, on the family farm in rural McIntosh County, near Zeeland, the son of Christian and Katherina (Vilhauer) Meidinger.
He was raised on the farm and received his elementary education in a rural Zeeland school.
Following his education, he continued to live and farm with his family.
He married Frieda Aipperspach on Nov. 17, 1931, in Zeeland. The couple purchased a farm home 10 miles north of Zeeland where they lived and farmed until 1964, when they moved to Wishek, where they have lived since that time.
Art continued to farm from town for several more years later worked for various businesses in Wishek, where he put his mechanical skills to use.
He was very mechanically inclined, and enjoyed dreaming up mechanical inventions, then building them for his use on the farm. He was also known for building three-wheeled bicycles for the local residents.
He was a member of New Kassel Reformed Church, rural Zeeland, having served on the church board. He later joined the United Church of Christ, Wishek. He also served as clerk of the rural Frieda School District for several years.
His hobbies included playing baseball as a youth, gardening, taking care of Wishek City Park, fishing plus fixing and tinkering with mechanical items.
He is survived by his wife, Frieda; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Robert Meidinger of Bismarck and Clinton and Becky of Zeeland; one daughter and son-in-law, Melvina and Joe Meidinger of Wishek; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two brothers and one sister-in-law, Leopold and Pauline and August, all of Wishek.
He was preceded in death by two infant children; his parents; four brothers; and one sister. (Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Wishek)

Minnie Stude
Minnie Stude, 91, Fridley, Minn., formerly of Bismarck, died Nov. 14, 1997, in a Fridley nursing home. Services will be 4 p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, Fridley. A graveside service will also be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.
She is survived by two daughters, Irene Fisher and Margo Tech.

Robert Chase
Robert C. Chase, 64, Mandan, died Nov. 2, 1998, in a Bismarck hospital. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, at Seventh Day Adventist Church, Mandan, with Pastors Darrell Lindensmith and Joe Gresham officiating. Burial will be in Hebron Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery at 3 p.m. CST on Friday.
Visitation will be from 1-9 p.m. Thursday, and from 8-9:30 a.m. Friday, both at Buehler-Larson Funeral Home, Mandan. There will be no visitation at the church.
Robert C. Chase was born on Oct. 19, 1934, in Hebron, the son of Herbert E. and Anna C. (Schiermeister) Chase. He married Ruth L. Pierson on Aug. 19, 1956, in Torrington, Wyo. Bob was the Mandan Municipal Airport Manager from 1962-1988. Airplanes were always involved in some way in Bob's life, whether buying and selling parts or entire airplanes. The essence of the airplane experience for him, however, happened when he could leave the restrictions of earth dwelling and take to the sky with one of his planes.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; one son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Cheryl, Hebron; one daughter and son-in-law, Karlene and Wayne Miller, Napoleon; his grandchildren, Ashlie, Britni and Pierson Chase, and MiKaela and MacKenzie Miller; his mother, Anna Chase, Statesboro, Ga.; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Monroe Chase, Mandan, and Jerry and Pam Chase, Hebron; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Severne and Gordon Caster, Jamestown, N.Y., Dorothy and Tom Massengill, Singapore, Ora Mae and Charles Klein, Denver; and ElDonna and Dick Hilde, Statesboro; and many special nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert.

Esther Stebner
Esther Stebner, 86, formerly of Wishek, died at her home at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center on Nov. 4, 1998. Services will be held at the chapel at Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck, on Friday at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at the Wishek Cemetery.
Esther Fercho was born on June 18, 1912, at Fredonia, the daughter of Gottlieb and Theresia Janz Fercho. She married Gustav Stebner on Feb. 25, 1934. Esther was employed with the Wishek Public Schools, as a cook, for many years. Her tremendous faith and love for her Lord sustained her as she struggled with a long and difficult illness.
Esther lost her husband in August 1985. Also preceding her in death were her parents, three sisters, one brother, one daughter, and one grandson.
She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Bill Jundt, and Jean and Clarence Wald, Bismarck, and Sandra and Jim Grueneich, Kenmare; one sister, Ruth Pfau, Bismarck; six grandchildren, Mark Wald, Minneapolis, Naomi Jundt, Fargo, Tracy and Scott Christensen, Minneapolis, Sam and Wendy Jundt, Greeley, Colo., Susan Wald, St. Peter, Minn., and Mandi Grueneich, Grand Forks; and three great-grandchildren, Alexandria and Steven Jundt, Greeley, and Savannah Christensen, Minneapolis. Minnie Stadick
UNDERWOOD -- Minnie Stadick, 95, Underwood, died Nov. 2, 1998, in the Underwood nursing home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, at St. Bonaventure's Catholic Church, Underwood, with the Rev. James Ryan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. today, at Goetz Funeral Home, Underwood, and after 7 p.m. at the church. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the church tonight.
Minnie Martha Hassler was born Nov. 2, 1903, at Underwood, to Charles and Rosalia (Langer) Hassler. She grew up on her parents' farm west of Underwood where she attended rural school. As a young woman, she helped her parents on the farm. She married George N. Stadick on June 14, 1921, at Bismarck. They lived and farmed 5[1/2] miles northeast of Underwood, and in 1948, they moved into Underwood, but continued to farm until 1962. George died on March 18, 1986. Minnie continued to make her home in Underwood where she was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary, Underwood Senior Citizens and the St. Ann's Altar Society. She became a resident of the Prairieview Nursing Home on Oct. 26, 1994. She loved her family and enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, dancing, visiting, baking and entertaining.
She is survived by her daughter, Marlene Brown, Mandan; three sons and four daughters-in-law, Harold and Louise, Seattle, Wash., Eugene and Marie, St. Stephen, Minn., Duane and Irene, West Fargo, and Ruby Stadick, Bismarck; 22 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Donald Stadick; one son-in-law, Donavon Brown; and five brothers and five sisters. (Goetz Funeral Home, Underwood)
