Harry Wiege
Harry Wiege, 67, Hebron, died at his home Sunday, April 1, 2001.
His service was held Wednesday, April 4, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Hebron. Rev. David Ling and Rev. Herbert Schauer officiated.
Organist was Darlene Siewert with special music by Lisa Raber.
Honorary bearers were Harry’s many friends.
Interment was in the First Baptist Cemetery, Hebron.
Harry was born September 27, 1933 in rural Richardton, ND, a son of Henry Wiege and Rebecca Scheuffele Wiege.
He was raised and educated in rural Richardton. In August of 1952 he began his employment with the Hebron Brick Company where he drove truck until August of 1995 when he retired.
He married Dorene Doll April 26, 1956 at St. Joe, rural Glen Ullin.
Harry enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing pinochle.
He was a member of the Eagles and a past member of the Hebron Fire Department and the Hebron Jaycees.
He leaves his wife, Dorene; two daughters – Deanna (Jesse) Voltz, Richardton, ND and Dawn (Brian) Frederick, Gwinner, ND and one son, Darson (Teri) Wiege, Minneapolis, MN.
He also leaves six grandchildren and two sisters – Florence Kitzan, Hebron, ND; Edna Wiege, Salem, OR and one brother, Michael (Arlene) Wiege, Salem, OR plus numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Esther and Eleanor and one brother, Edwin.
Spangelo Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Helen Crowley
Helen Crowley, 76, Glen Ullin, died March 21, 2001 in Glen Ullin. A memorial service with military rites by American Legion Post No. 100 of Hebron was held Saturday, March 24 at St. John United Church of Christ, Hebron with the Rev. Thomas A. Zuhlke officiating.
Helen was born March 29, 1924 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Jesse King DuBois and Mattie Edna Carr. She was raised and educated in Ohio. Helen entered the U.S.Marines July 24, 1944 and served in Oahu and Washington, DC. She was discharged April 11, 1946.
Following her discharge she attended and in 1949 graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio. Helen moved to Miami in 1950 and taught junior high physical education in the public school system. She married Jim Crowley December 23, 1954 in Miami. In 1958 they relocated to a ranch north of Hebron. Helen worked for the Census Bureau during the 1970 census.
Helen and Jim enjoyed spending the winters in the south, many of them in their winter home in Sierra Vista, AZ. Helen entered Marian Manor Healthcare Center in Glen Ullin in August 1999 where she has since resided.
Helen enjoyed baking, canning, reading, playing the piano and photography. She also enjoyed playing cards, games and backgammon with family and friends. Helen also spent many hours doing handiwork, embroidering and quilting. She crocheted many teddy bears which she gave away.
Helen was a member of St. John United Church of Christ and Happy Homemakers Club of Hebron.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lorrie and Jeff Narloch, Grafton and Bonnie and Reed Danuser, Fargo; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Miles, Valley City and Dan and Lesa, Bismarck; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Dorothy Davidson and Edna Lenz.
Reinhardt Heinle
Reinhardt Heinle, 86, Richardton, ND died Sunday, December 9, 2001.
His funeral was held Thursday, December 13, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Hebron. Rev. David Ling officiated. Organist was Darlene Siewert.
Casketbearers were Kevin Heinle, Kent Heinle, Kem Heinle, Shawn Heinle, Shane Heinle and Chris Senger.
Interment was in the First Baptist Cemetery, Hebron.
Reinhardt was born in rural Hebron August 5, 1915, a son of Adam Heinle and Katherine Diede Heinle.
He was raised and educated in rural Hebron.
He married Hilda Kitzan April 9, 1939 at the Baptist Church, rural Hebron. Following their marriage they farmed until 1961 when they moved into Hebron.
Reinhardt operated the Skelly Station until 1965. He worked for Auto Implement and for various farmers until he retired. He remained in Hebron for his retirement years.
Reinhardt entered the Richardton Health Center in February of 2000 where he had since lived.
Throughout his life music was important to Reinhardt, he loved to sing and play the piano.
He was a member of the Heinle Quartet and the First Baptist Church.
His wife Hilda, died October 12, 1999.
He leaves three sons and daughters-in-law, Wellde and Mary Jean, Mandan, ND; Wes and Renae, Dickinson, ND and Russ and Bonnie, Hebron, ND.
He also leaves eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Other survivors include a brother, Raymond Heinle, Hebron and a sister-in-law, Edna R. Heinle, Richardton, ND.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and three brothers.

Bertha Heinle
Bertha Heinle, 82, Mott, ND died Thursday, December 5, 2001 at the Good Samaritan Home in Mott.
Her funeral was held Saturday, December 8, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Hebron. Sherill Ungerecht and Pastor Larry Ouhl officiated.
Organist and soloist was Audrey Ouhl and special music was provided by the German Singers of the Congregational Choir.
Casketbearers were nephews Norman Delzer, Harold Gomke, Tim Heinle, Lynole Heinle, Richard Friesz and Doug Kitzan.
Interment was in the Congregational Cemetery, Hebron.
Bertha was born at Elgin, ND December 3, 1919, a daughter of Karl Delzer and Lydia Trautman Delzer.
She was raised and educated in rural Elgin. She was a hired girl for many of their neighbors during her teen years. She married Arnold Heinle December 9, 1941 in Hebron.
Following their marriage she worked side by side with Arnold on the farm south of Hebron. She enjoyed crocheting, crafting, quilting and gardening.
She moved to Bismarck in early September and in late September moved to Mott.
She was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, Hebron.
Her husband Arnold, died October 12, 1982.
She leaves two sons and daughters-in-law – Larry and Audrey, Bismarck and Armin and Jan, McClusky, ND and two daughters and sons-in-law, Eveline and Leland Schulz, New Leipzig, ND and Luella and Arnold Gomke, Big Arm, MT.
She also leaves 12 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Other survivors include two brothers Theodore Delzer, Billings, MT and Emanuel Delzer, Bismarck and four sisters - Kathryn Gomke, Elgin, ND; Adeline Gomke, Bismarck, ND; Ella Heinle, Hebron and Hillia Kitzan, Bismarck, ND.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Alvina, brother Ernest and grandson Bruce Gomke.
