Emma Reiswig
Emma Reiswig, 86, of Lodi, CA died December 16 at a local convalescent hospital after a short illness. She was born Emma Kitzan on April 2, 1914 in Hebron, ND where she was raised.
Mrs. Reiswig married George Rudolph Mees on December 1, 1935 in Hebron, ND. He died December 2, 1963. She later married Roy Robert Reiswig on March 8, 1966. He died October 6, 1989.
She was employed by Stokley van Camp Cannery as a sorter for 30 years. She was a former member of Ebenezer Congregational Church.
She has been a resident of the Lodi area since 1946. She is survived by her granddaughter, Michelle Schulte of Copperopolis.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, George R. Mees; second husband, Roy Robert Reiswig; and daughter, Sharon Marie Schulte on October 17, 1983.
A graveside service was held Friday, December 22, 2000 at 10 a.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park with Rev. Herbert Schaal of Zion Reformed Church officiated.
Lodi Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Brenda Wetzel
Brenda Wetzel, 36, Wilton, ND died Wednesday, November 15, 2000 at Bismarck, ND.
Her funeral was held Saturday, November 18, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. at the Evangelical Congregational Church, Glen Ullin, ND. Rev. Art Wetzel officiated.
Organist was Mae Buchli and special music was provided by Clarence Wetzel and Irene Schnaidt.
Casketbearers were Jim Beierlein, Jerry Beierlein, Glen Beierlein, Doug Schantz, Robert Solem and Scott Solem.
Interment was in the Glen Ullin Cemetery, Glen Ullin.
Brenda was born at Mandan October 12, 1964, a daughter of Marvin Wetzel and Ardella Dschaak.
She was raised and educated at Glen Ullin where she graduated from the Glen Ullin High School in 1983.
For most of her life Brenda struggled with medical problems and had been disabled. She moved to Hazen in the fall of 1999.
She recently moved to Wilton, ND where she had been living.
She leaves her parents Marvin and Ardella Wetzel, Glen Ullin; one brother Marvin Jr. of Glen Ullin, ND and two sisters Cindy Sturre, Big Sky, MT and Pam Wetzel, Hazen, ND and two nephews and one niece.
Spangelo Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Margaret Sayler
Margaret Rose Miller Sayler, 65, died November 6, 2000 at West Jordan, Utah.
She was born November 6, 1935 in Dickinson, ND to Clements and Mary Rose Brillitz Miller. She married Roy A. Sayler August 26, 1957 in Dickinson. She enjoyed crocheting and flower arranging.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Roy, West Valley City; children Jacqueline Sayler, West Valley City; Robin (Kenneth) McCartney, South Jordan; Clyde Sayler, Salt Lake City and Annette Sayler, West Valley City; four grandchildren, Sterling, Brandon, Ashton and Trissta; brothers Frank (Judy) Miller, North Dakota; Mike (Donna) Miller, North Dakota; Joe (Marie) Miller, North Dakota; Ronald (Chris) Miller, Alaska; Bob (Paula) Miller, Oklahoma and Bill Miller. Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandy.
Funeral services were held Friday, November 10 at 11 a.m. at Valley View Funeral Home Chapel, 4335 West 4100 South.
Internment was at Valley View Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to the Huntsman Cancer Institute for breast cancer.
Attending the funeral service for Margie Sayler in Salt Lake City, Utah were Clinton and Eleanor Opp, Glen Ullin, ND; Erma Mayer, Hebron, ND; Violet and Carl Fischer, Colorado Springs, CO; Lorraine Reidlinger, Sacramento, CA; Mary Sayler, Federal Way, WA.
Others attending the funeral were Margie’s brothers Frank Miller, Mike Miller, Joe Miller, all from North Dakota; Bob Miller, Oklahoma, Bill Miller, Colorado, Ron Miller, Alaska.
Philip Wolf
Philip Wolf, 82, Glen Ullin, ND died Sunday, February 4, 2001 at Bismarck.
His funeral service will be held today, Wednesday, February 7 at 10 a.m. MT at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glen Ullin.
Special music will be provided by the Glory and Praise Singers and Virgil Jaeger.
Casketbearers will be Richard Bechtold, Jason Kueffler, Shaun Rosin, Mike Hellman, Ed Bader, Ernie Wolf, Lucas Holkup and Jarad Wolf.
Interment will be in the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, rural Mandan, ND with military rites by Higbee Post #100 of the American Legion.
Philip was born in the St. Placidus area near Mott, ND on January 15, 1919, a son of Rogus Wolf and Cecelia Klein Wolf.
He was raised and educated in the St. Placidus area in rural Mott and entered the United States Army December 31, 1940 and served as a medic in the Aleutian Islands.
Following his discharge on October 11, 1944 he returned to the area. He married Mary Hellman June 19, 1945 at St. Joseph in rural Glen Ullin.
Following their marriage they farmed near Mott and in 1954 moved to a farm south of Glen Ullin where they farmed until 1979 when they moved into town.
Philip also worked with Joe Hellman in construction for many years. After he retired in the early 1980s he enjoyed visiting with his children and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Feeding and watching birds was a hobby he enjoyed. He also spent many hours with his flowers and creating wonderful works of art for his family and friends to have and admire forever more.
He was a member of the Catholic War Veterans, Glen Ullin American Legion and St. Joseph Men’s Society.
He leaves his wife, Mary; five daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene and Larry Kueffler, Lemmon, SD; Carol and Steven Rosin, Woodbridge, CA; Janet and Richard Ellwood, Albany, OR; Joyce and David Holkup, Wahpeton, ND and Marie and Russell Jaeger, Washburn, ND and one son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Roselyn, Bismarck.
He also leaves 17 grandchildren and four step-grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and seven step great grandchildren and one sister, Margaret Miller, Great Falls, MT and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Eugene, three brothers and four sisters.

Charles O. Sease
Memorial services for Charles O. Sease were held Wednesday, March 28, 2001 at the New Life Assembly of God Church in Beulah, ND at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Ron Enget officiating.
Charles was born September 6, 1942 at McClusky, ND, the son of Ralph and Lois Sease. He graduated from McClusky High School in 1960.
Charles married Violet Reed June 30, 1961 at Anchorage, Alaska.
Charles was a very talented and courageous man. He used these talents in many different occupants - an Alaskan State Trooper, owning his own contracting company, lineman for Bell Telephone, a steeple jack and as a computer clerk of IBM.
He had a degree in restaurant and hotel management and managed the Big Sky Resort in Montana.
He was most recently employed by Bob's Trucking in Glen Ullin. He enjoyed woodworking, leather crafts, kayaking, camping, fishing and riding his motorcycle.
The most important part of his life was his love for Jesus Christ, who he served with all his heart since childhood. He ministered to others through his kindness, generosity and compassion.
He was a member of New Life Assembly of God in Beulah, ND.
Charles went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 25, 2001.
He is survived by his wife, Violet, Hebron; his parents Ralph and Lois Sease, McClusky; one son, Charles Tracy (Lisa) and their children Samuel Reed and Charles Aaron, all of Rusk, TX; one daughter Ione and her son Taylor Michael and her friend Phil Stafford, all of West Fargo, ND;
Two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bruce and Elaine, McClusky, ND and Dale and Marjean, Hebron, ND; one sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Maurice Olstad, Monticello, MN as well as numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends that deeply loved and appreciated Charles.
