Carol Moe was born
Jan. 14, 1951, the daughter of Thorvald and Margaret (Gilbertson) Moe, in Grand Forks. She graduated from high school in East Grand Forks in 1969. She graduated from the North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton, N.D. She married
Kenny Egeland on Dec. 27, 1980, in Bygland, Minn. She worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Anderson in Grand Forks, the East Grand Forks School District, and for Grand Forks Developmental Homes.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Chris, East Grand Forks; a daughter, Melissa Egeland, East Grand Forks; her parents, East Grand Forks; and brothers, Allan (Barbara), Randy (Susan), and Roger (Rebecca), all of East Grand Forks, Duane, Alpine, Calif., and John (Shirley), El Paso, Texas,
Services: 10: 30 a.m. Tuesday, Bygland Lutheran Church, rural East Grand Forks.
Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, with a 7 p.m. prayer service, in Stennes Funeral Chapel, East Grand Forks.

Marie Erickson
LANGDON, N.D. -- Marie Erickson, 87, Parshall, N.D., formerly of Langdon, died
Thursday, Sept. 17, 1998, at home.
Marie Gasink was born
Oct. 6, 1910, the daughter of Robert and Mary (Penner) Gasink, in Langdon. She grew up and attended school in Loma, N.D. She moved to the Parshall area. She married
Leonard Erickson on July 6, 1928. They began farming south of Parshall and lived there until 1982, when they moved into Parshall, where she had lived since. Leonard Erickson died
May 8, 1995.
She is survived by a daughter, Judy Jones, Parshall; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brothers, Albert, Fresno, Calif., and Herbert, Walhalla, N.D.
Services: 10 a.m. Monday, First Lutheran Church, Parshall, and 2 p.m. Monday in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot.
Visitation: Noon to 7 p.m. Sunday in Johnson Funeral Home, Parshall.
Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot.

THOMPSON, N.D. -- Katherine Agnes Ross and Emily Megan Ross, twin daughters of Robert and Cheryl Ross, Fargo, formerly of Thompson, were born
and died
Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1998, in MeritCare Hospital, Fargo.
They are survived by their parents; and grandparents, Charles and Joyce Ross, Arthur, N.D., and Wilma Galegher, Thompson.
They were preceded in death
by their grandfather, Boyd Galegher.
Services: 3: 45 p.m. Wednesday in the Thompson Cemetery.

Ethel Gessele
CROOKSTON -- Ethel Gessele, 78, formerly of Detroit Lakes, Minn., died
Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1998, in Villa St. Vincent Nursing Home, Crookston.
Ethel Engel was born
July 1, 1920, the daughter of John and Caroline (Fandrick) Engel, in Denhoff Township, Sheridan County, N.D., where she graduated from high school in 1938. She married
Jake Gessele on Oct. 7, 1940, in Goodrich, N.D. They farmed in Denhoff Township, Washington, and Detroit Lakes. They worked as blacksmiths in Detroit Lakes until retiring in 1986. Jake Gessele died
Nov. 6, 1993. She moved to Grand Forks and then to Villa St. Vincent Nursing Center.
She is survived by daughters, Joan (Frank) Ebert, LeSueur, Minn., Lynne (William) Berg, East Grand Forks, Cynthia (David) Card, Berkley, Calif., and Annette (Brian) Simmons, Mount Vernon, Wash.; a son, Joel, Kent, Wash.; three grandchildren; and sisters, Ruth (Ben) Gessele, Gaston, Ore., Esther (Bernard) Higgins, Anderson Island, Wash., and Lorraine Werner, Tacoma, Wash.
She was preceded in death
by sisters, Helen and Lillian; and brothers, Herb, Arnold, Albert and Harry.

Bill Lowrimore
DEVILS LAKE -- Bill Lowrimore, 16, Devils Lake, died
Sunday, Sept. 13, 1998, in Devils Lake.
Bill Lowrimore was born
Jan. 26, 1982, the son of Lois (Stewart) Lowrimore, in Victorville, Calif. He was raised in Lucerne Valley, Calif., and Goldendale, Wash. In 1991, he moved with his family to St. John, N.D. He later moved to Edmore, N.D., and then to Devils Lake, where he was attending school.
He is survived by his mother; and a sister, Elsie Lowrimore, Devils Lake.
Services: 2 p.m. Monday, St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, St. John.

Orin L. Dunlop
ROLLA, N.D. -- Orin L. Dunlop, 84, Rolla, died
Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1998, in Presentation Medical Center, Rolla.
Orin L. Dunlop was born
Sept. 10, 1914, the son of John and Ruth (Koschnick) Dunlop, in Maryville Township, Rolette County, N.D. They lived in Kennewick, Wash., for three years. He grew up and attended school in Maryville Township, graduating from Rolla High School and attended North Dakota Agriculture College, Fargo. He farmed. He married
Anne Nerpel on March 25, 1939, in Rolla. They lived in California from 1941 to 1942. They returned to Rolla. He served on the Non-Partisan League ticket in the House of Representatives 1953 and 1955. They spent 25 winters in Mesa, Ariz.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Janice (Donald) Jungling, Great Falls, Mont.; sons, Jon (MaryAnn), Missoula, Mont., William (Patricia), Wayzata, Minn., Robert (Johanna) and Leslie (Dorene), both of Rolla, and Charles (Sharon), Glenburn, N.D.; 13 grandchildren; and a brother, Keith, Rolla.
He was preceded in death
by a sister, Jean Cloud.
Services: 2 p.m. Saturday, Presbyterian Church of Rolla and St. John.
Visitation: 4 to 9 p.m. today and 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday in Niewoehner Funeral Home, Rolla, and one hour before services in the church.
Burial: Rolla Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Rolla Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund or Mt. Pleasant School District Foundation.
Landon Joseph Weiler
Landon Joseph Weiler, infant son of Jeff and Beth (Van Zee) Weiler, was born
and died
Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1998, in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks.
He is survived by his parents; a sister, Morgan Elizabeth Weiler, Grand Forks; grandparents, Richard and Marge Weiler, Dickinson, N.D., and Ken and Lanetta Van Zee, Armour, S.D.; and great-grandparents, Lillian Ridl, Dickinson, Clementine Weiler, Dickinson, Royce and Phyllis Van Zee, Platte, S.D., and Orville and Adeline VandenBos, Stickney, S.D.
He was preceded in death
by great-grandfathers, Joseph Ridl and Joseph Weiler.

Idyll Lucille Sannes was born
Sept. 16, 1923, the daughter of Olivier and Mable (Johnson) Sannes, in Edinburg, N.D. She graduated from high school in Park River, N.D. She married
Czar Hertzelle on May 24, 1941, in Grafton, N.D. They moved to Grand Forks in 1946. Czar Hertzelle died
Jan. 23, 1990.
She is survived by sons, Roger (Patricia) and Marlin (Cheryl), both of St. Louis, Mo.; a daughter, Cheryl Boden, St. Louis; six grandchildren; brothers, Lyle, Marion, Iowa, and Gerald, Orange, Calif.; and sisters, Blanche Koch, Steilacoom, Wash., and Maryann Sannes, Orange.
She was preceded in death
by five brothers and two sisters.
Services: 5: 30 p.m. Friday, Calvary Lutheran Church, Grand Forks, and 10: 30 a.m. Saturday, Memorial Park Cemetery, Park River.

Edward 'Eddy' Grabinski
Edward "Eddy" Grabinski, 71, 2630 Fourth Ave. N., died
Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1998, at home.
Edward Daniel Grabinski was born
July, 21, 1927, the son of Leo and Angela (Korynta) Grabinski, in Ardoch, N.D., where he attended school. He married
Maxine Smith on Jan. 27, 1948, in East Grand Forks. They moved to Grand Forks, where he worked for Associated Potato Growers. He also owned and operated a construction business. He retired in 1983.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Sharon (Gary) Nelson, Grand Forks; a son, Donald (Lynn), East Grand Forks; four grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; a brother, Hilary, Grand Forks; and sisters, Del Derrick and Delores Pederson, both of East Grand Forks.
He was preceded in death
by a sister, Frances.
Services: 10: 30 a.m. Friday, St. Michael's Catholic Church, Grand Forks.

CANDO, N.D. -- Gladys E. Timms, 87, Cando, died
Monday, Sept. 14, 1998, in Towner County Medical Center, Cando.
Gladys Evelyn Smith was born
March 22, 1911, the daughter of John and Josephine (Johnson) Timms, in Churchs Ferry, N.D., where she attended school. She married
Harold Timms on June 11, 1932, in Devils Lake. They farmed near Cando until retiring in 1968. Harold Timms died
Oct. 3, 1988. She moved into Cando in January 1982 and entered the Saint Frances Residence of Cando in May 1998.
She is survived by sons, Donald (Verna), Newark, Ohio, Robert (Norma) and Gary (Mary), both of Cando, and George (Joan), Mesquite, Texas; daughters, Karen (Dave) Shadrick, Great Falls, Mont., and Cindy Timms, Devils Lake; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; brothers, Leon, Churchs Ferry, N.D., and Frank, Fargo; and a sister, Eva Dix, Minneapolis.
She was preceded in death
by two infant daughters; two brothers; and four sisters.

Agnes T. Larsen
GALESBURG, N.D. -- Agnes T. Larsen, 89, Hunter, N.D., formerly of Galesburg, died
Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1998, in Union Hospital, Mayville, N.D.
Agnes T. Thompson was born
Oct. 16, 1908, the daughter of Christian and Johanna (Lee) Thompson, in Hunter, where she attended school. She married
Edward Larsen on March 7, 1934, in Moorhead. They farmed in the Galesburg and Hunter area until 1958, when they moved into Hunter.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Myron, Hunter; a daughter, Jane Zelinski, Spokane, Wash.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death
by four brothers and two sisters.
Services: 10: 30 a.m. Friday, First Lutheran Church, Hunter.
Visitation: 3 to 6 p.m. today, with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Baker Funeral Home, Mayville, and one hour before services in the church.
