William O. Rose Sr., 74, Ayr, North Dakota, died unexpectedly on Friday, February 13, 2004.
He was born on May 31, 1929 on the homestead farm at Ayr, ND. He was the son of Ogden and Hazel (Conklin) Rose. He attended school at Ayr and graduated from High School in 1948. He was active in 4-H and farm organizations. He attended Ellendale College, Ellendale, ND and also attended several agricultural short courses at NDSU. Bill attended Graham Veterinary School at New Prague, MN to enhance his cattle operations. He assisted his father on the farm until 1958 when he took over the operation. William married
Mary Helen Paintner at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Moorhead, MN on January 18, 1958. He was an active member of St. Mary’s Cathedral of Fargo, ND.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; five sons, William Jr., Ayr, ND., James, Bloomington, MN., Timothy, Ayr, ND., Joseph(Shelly), Monticello, MN., Charles, Davenport, ND.; two daughters, Mary Beth (Roger) Thompson, Albuquerque, NM and Kathleen(Darrel) Hegar, Highlands Ranch, Co. He is also survived by one brother Frank (Judy), Watkins, MN. and one sister Lois Brewer, Moorhead, MN., nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
Bill was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He had a deep faith and a big heart. He was never afraid to show his emotions of love even to strangers. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Paul Joseph. We know he is in heaven looking down on us and holding his beloved son, Paul. We are so thankful for wonderful memories.
Visitation: Monday 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Boulger Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. and one hour before the service at the church on Tuesday.
Funeral Mass: 12:00 noon on Tuesday, Feb. 17th in St. Mary’s Cathedral, Fargo, ND
Burial: Holy Cross cemetery, Fargo, ND.

Fitzpatrick, Walton

Walton died on Monday, February 9, 2004, at his home in Hillsboro, under the care of Hospice, at the age of 79.
Walton was born on July 16, 1924, in Bayonne, New Jersey, the son of James and Florence (Busbee) Fitzpatrick. He grew up in this area before moving to Chicago, Illinois, with his family, where he attended school. Walton was united in marriage to Dorothy Okleshen, of Chicago, on August 6, 1942. Walton proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII first in the South Pacific from 1943 until 1945, then serving in the United States Army from 1945 until 1946 in Germany. After his discharge, he made his home in Chicago where he owned and operated Huddy’s Bait Shop. He moved to Montana in 1986 and lived there until moving to Hillsboro in 1996.
He is survived by his loving family - his children, Dianne Louise, Eileen Marie, Jacquelyn Rae, Walton B. Jr., Daniel Charles, John V. Parlich, and Charles Michael; his 23 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren; and sister, Betty Jane Schmidt.
Walton was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, John Byron Kinney; his sisters, Geneva Rutzen and Nadine Kalata; and grandchildren, Randy Parlich, Teresa Hooker, and Scott Sorenson.
FUNERAL: 2 PM Friday, February 13, 2004, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Hillsboro
VISITATION: 4-7 PM Thursday at Wildeman Funeral Home and one hour prior to the funeral in the church on Friday

Tessier, Henry

Henry Tessier, 97, Horace, North Dakota, died Tuesday, February 10, 2004 at Villa Maria Nursing Home, Fargo.
Henry Tessier was born on January 8, 1907 to Ovide and Priscilla Tessier on the family’s centennial farm near Horace, North Dakota. He grew up on the farm, attended St. Benedict School and Sacred Heart Academy. Henry farmed until retiring in 1993 when he moved to Riverview Place in Fargo. Henry T. Tessier married
Aldea Helena Pronovost at St. Benedict Catholic Church, rural Horace, on January 16, 1934.

Jordheim, Theodore "Ted"

Theodore "Ted" Jordheim, 95, of Walcott, ND, died Monday, February 9, 2004, at Meritcare, Fargo.
Ted was born on the family farm near Walcott to Nels and Sidsal (Mykleseth) Jordheim on August 3, 1908.
He graduated from Walcott High School and went to Concordia College for one year.
He married
Florence Irene Nipstad on July 14, 1935 at the Kindred parsonage.
He farmed his entire life in the Walcott area.
Florence died in 1988.
He entered Bethany Homes in 1999 and recently moved to the Evergreens.
He is survived by his daughter Arlys (Virgil) Torgerson, Kindred, ND, and son Verdell (Phyllis) Jordheim, Walcott, ND; one brother Selmer (Eleanor), Mesa, AZ; and one sister-in-law Louise Roache, Alexandria, MN.
Grandchildren:
Dale and Trudy Torgerson and their two children: Dylan and Devin; Diana and Michael Cole and their three children: Jared, Zachary and Alyssa; Dave and Nancy Torgerson and their three children: Lindsay, Keely, and Lex; Debra and Peter Lee and their five children: Christopher, Jason, Nicholas, Matthew, and Elena; Pam and Randy Munkeby and their four children: Michael and his wife Jerrianne; Melissa and her husband Tim Speldrich and their daughter, Chynna; Mandy and Marshele; Sharolyn and Kent Mattson and their four children: Brandon, Taylor, Erin, and Maggie; Lynelle and Bruce Bachmeier and their two children: Caycee and Breanna.
The funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Walcott Lutheran Church, Walcott, ND.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4-7 p.m. in Fredrikson Funeral Chapel, Kindred, and also on Friday from 10-11 a.m. in the church.

Perreault, Gerald

Gerald L. Perreault, age 74, Fargo, died of cancer Saturday, February 7, 2004 in the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Fargo.
Gerald L. Perreault was born to Edward and Rose Perreault in Terrebonne, Minnesota on November 10, 1929.
He grew up and went to school there.
He graduated from Red Lake Falls High School, Red Lake Falls, MN.
Gerald served in the Army from 1951 to 1952.
After being Honorably Discharged from the Army he returned to Minnesota.
Gerald L. Perreault married
Elouise Racchini in Chisholm, Minnesota on February 10, 1955.
They lived in Grand Forks for many years.
He built his business in route sales in Northeastern North Dakota and also owned and managed income property in the Grand Forks area.
Gerald moved to Fargo in 2000.
He enjoyed fishing, traveling, and playing his accordian.
