Roger L. Nordrum
Roger L. Nordrum, 65, of Devils Lake, ND died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2004 at the Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Gilbertson Funeral Home Chapel, Devils Lake. Rev. Kenneth Iverson will officiate and burial will be in the Devils Lake cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the Gilbertson Funeral Home on Friday from 12-6 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of services.
Pallbearers will be Del Nordrum, Bryan Nordrum, Steve Nordrum, Dallas Welch, Donald Welch and Doug Ericksmoen.
Roger L. Nordrum was born Sept. 17, 1939 at Maddock, ND, the son of Norman A. and Lorena C. (Olson) Nordrum. He attended Country School in Benson County for three years. In 1948, he moved with his family to Devils Lake where he lived most of his life. Roger graduated from Devils Lake Central High School in 1957. He attended Lake Region Junior College, Devils Lake, UND, Grand Forks and graduated from Mayville State Teacher's College with a Degree in Education. He then taught in several schools in North Dakota including Pembina, Hampden, Hurdsfield and Fort Totten. He also worked at various jobs in the Devils Lake area until retiring in 2001.
Roger was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church and the Eagles Lodge.
Roger is survived by his mother, Lorena Nordrum, Devils Lake; brother, Alban "Albie" (Connie) Nordrum, also Devils Lake; nephews, Del Nordrum, Bryan (Kristi) Nordrum and Steven Nordrum; great-niece, Savannah Nordrum, all of Devils Lake; and special companion, Frances Welch, Minnewaukan.
He was preceded in death by his father.

Richard Neumiller
Richard Neumiller, 80, of Sykeston, ND, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2004 at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, ND.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Sykeston.
A prayer service will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church.
Visitation times will be Thursday from 1-5 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Evans Funeral Home, Carrington.

Regina M. Chepulis
Regina M. Chepulis, 82, of Devils Lake, ND died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004 at the Good Samaritan Center, Devils Lake.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Devils Lake. Fr. C.F. Wilhelm will celebrate the Mass and burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic cemetery, Devils Lake. Gift Bearers will be Rachel Chepulis and Dawn Chepulis. Reading the Scriptures will be John Chepulis.
Visitation will be held at the Gilbertson Funeral Home on Sunday from 1-9 p.m. with a Rosary and Vigil Service at 3 p.m. Visitation on Monday will be at the church one hour prior to the funeral Mass.
Pallbearers will be Regina's grandsons, Kevin Chepulis, Cory Chepulis, Sean Chepulis, Mark Chepulis, Stacey Chepulis and Jadd Pisoni.
Honorary Pallbearers are all of Regina's grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Regina Margaret Bosch was born April 21, 1922 in Ramsey County, ND, the daughter of Michael and Katherine (Senger) Bosch. She was reared and educated in Ramsey County. She attended St. Mary's Academy in Devils Lake. Regina spent many of her younger years with her aunt and uncle, George and Josephine Kuntz. On June 11, 1945, Regina was united in marriage to Frank Chepulis at Devils Lake, ND. They established their home in Churchs Ferry. In 1955, they moved to a farm near Devils Lake where Regina spent her life as a devoted wife and loving and caring mother to her eight boys. In 1999, they moved into Devils Lake to be closer to their family. Frank died on Dec. 20, 2002. Regina was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Regina loved to cook and do gardening. She was very talented in the kitchen and was able to create fantastic new dishes and recipes. Her family was her greatest joy and will be greatly missed by them and all her friends.
Regina is survived by her sons, John (Bonnie) Chepulis, Columbus, MT; Paul (Elaine) Chepulis, Devils Lake, ND; Gary (Diane) Chepulis, Minot, ND; David (Karen) Chepulis, Hardin, MT; Steve (Laurie) Chepulis, Devils Lake; twins, Daniel (Julia) Chepulis and Donald "Butch" (Rhonda) Chepulis, both of Devils Lake; 22 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Emma Miller, Tolna, ND, Leona Nelson, Everett, WA, Mary Lauinger and Margaret Lange; brothers, Joseph Bosch and Michael Bosch, all of Devils Lake; Paul Bosch of Sebeka, MN; Arnold Bosch, Devils Lake; George Bosch, Garrison, ND; and Edward Bosch, Minot, ND.

Sheryle A. King
Sheryle A. King, 58, of Minnewaukan, ND, died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2004, at Mercy Hospital in Devils Lake.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. At Trinity Free Lutheran Church in Minnewaukan. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Music will be from Rhonda Howard and Rita Halvorson, vocalists with Fay Huffman, organist.
There will be a family Prayer Service at 4 p.m. on Sunday followed by visitation from 5-8 p.m. all at the Nelson Funeral Home in Minnewaukan.
Casket bearers will be James Arnold, Stacey Butts, Jim Helgeson, Kelly King, Carrol Rognlie, Bradley Tandeski, Randy Thompson and Terry Whisman.
Honorary casket bearers will be Kenny Bonn, Mark Bonn Dallas Delorme, Glenn Delorme, Leo Delorme, Perry King, Scott King, Alan Nord, Robert Olson and Frank Tandeski.
Sheryle Ann Butts was born April 1, 1946 at Maddock, ND, to Laverne and Syliva (Lageson) Butts. She attended the Esmond School and graduated from the Minnewaukan Public School in 1964. Sheryle was united in marriage to Gary King on Aug. 15, 1967 at Esmond, ND. The couple made their home in Minnewaukan. She was employed for a time at Mercy Hospital in Devils Lake and at the Benson County Auditors Office in Minnewaukan. Sheryle also had worked part-time for Feist Soil Testing and Bremer Bank in Minnewaukan.
Sheryle was an active member of Trinity Free Lutheran Church and served in many capacities. She maintained a lifelong love of flowers and nature. Sheryle enjoyed tending her garden and making crafts. She rarely missed watching an L.A. Lakers basketball game and regularly attended the horse races.
She is survived by her husband, Gary of Minnewaukan; two sons, Dustin of Minnewaukan and Mitch of Fargo; a daughter, Darcie Whisman of Fargo; two sisters, Diane Tandeski of Rugby, ND and Donna King of Esmond, ND; two brothers, Donald Butts of Egeland, ND and Ricky Butts of Rapid City, SD and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death were her parents and two brothers, Leon and Lynn Butts.

Marvina M. Trenda
Marvina M. Trenda, 80 of Lankin, ND passed away Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004 at the Altru Hospital of Grand Forks, ND.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church of Lankin, ND. Interment will be at the Kosobud cemetery of rural Lankin.
Visitation will be Sunday from 3-5 p.m. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Park River. A prayer service will be held Sunday afternoon at 5 p.m. Friends may also call at the church on Monday for one hour prior to the service.
Marvina M .Matejcek was born Oct. 26, 1924 in Sauter Township of Walsh County, ND the daughter of the late Emil and Mary (Jonas) Matejcek. She grew up and attended schools there. Following her education she married
Ludvig Trenda on June 22, 1946 in Adams, ND. The couple made their home in Lankin. She worked for Meberg Potato Company for over 20 years.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and WELCA of Lankin, ND, the Bosh-Ryba American Legion Auxiliary. She loved sewing, gardening and crocheting. She was well known for her kolaches.
She is survived by her son, Richard (Arlyce) Trenda of Devils Lake, ND; four grandchildren, Brian (Darci) Trenda of Mandan, ND; Scott (Patti) Trenda of Aneta, ND; Jeff (Carrie) Trenda of Petersburg, ND; Kimberly (Bryan) Saunders of Fargo, ND; nine great-grandchildren and brother, Roland (Georgia) Matejcek of Lawton, ND; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband on July 18, 1996, brother Raymond and sister Agnes Bina.

Trenette Hite
Trenette Hite, 89, Fargo, ND, died Friday, March 17, 2006, in MeritCare Palliative Care Unit, Fargo.
Trenette Busse was born August 14, 1916, in Avoca, IA, to Frank and Netta (Meggers) Busse. She was raised in Omaha, NE, until her marriage to Bob Hite, on June 24, 1937.
Bob and Trenette pastored churches in Washington, Texas and Georgia until his death on Oct. 19, 1979, in Smyrna, GA. Trenette moved to Fargo in 1990, where she was an active member of Metropolitan Baptist Church.
Trenette is survived by her sister, Ravona Peterson, Fargo.
Memorials are preferred to either Metropolitan Baptist Church or Hospice of the Red River Valley.
Visitation: Sunday, March 19, 2006; 6 – 8 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
Funeral: Monday, March 20, 2006; 11 AM, in Metropolitan Baptist Church, Fargo.
Interment: Georgia Memorial Park cemetery; Smyrna, Georgia.
Charles Wettstein
Charlie Henry Wettstein was born June 17, 1927, in Wahpeton, ND to Joseph and Veronica (Braun) Wettstein. He graduated from Lidgerwood High School in 1945. Shortly thereafter, he enlisted and served in the United States Navy spending time in Japan.
On April 24, 1950, he married
Caroline Polansky and they made their home in Fargo. In 1953 they moved to Moorhead where they raised their family. Charlie was employed with the Bell Telephone companies and retired after 36 years of service from A.T.&T.;
Charlie was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and School serving on the School Board and many church committees. He was an active 4th degree knight of the Knights of Columbus. Summers were spent at West McDonald Lake where he enjoyed the lake country life. In retirement, Charlie and Caroline enjoyed winters in Brownsville, TX and traveling the U.S.
Charles died Tuesday, March 14, at Innovis Hospital in Fargo, ND, at the age of 78.
Charlie is survived by his wife, Caroline; 4 sons and 2 daughters, Charles (Pamela) Wettstein of Katy, TX; Jeffrey (Kathleen) Wettstein of Moorhead; Michael (Mary) Wettstein and Kenneth (Ruth) Wettstein both of Rosemount, MN; Susan (Robert) Meyhuber of Frazee, MN; and Katharine (Lee) Eggiman of Moorhead; 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, Mollie and Jeff and their daughter Caroline, Benjamin (Teylor), Mitchell, Jason, Karen, Kayla, Ashley, Jack, Ryan, Julie (Jason) and their daughters Maya & Mari, Andrew, Steven (Aimee), Jennifer, Anthony, Daniel, and Kelli; 1 brother, Richard (Margaret) Wettstein of Lidgerwood, ND.
Charlie is preceded in death by 3 grandchildren, Hollie & Heather Meyhuber and Christopher Wettstein; and a sister, Beatrice Anderson.
Visitation: Friday (March 17, 2006) 4 – 8 pm, with a prayer service at 7 pm, Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead, MN, and on Saturday, (March 18) 12 Noon- 1 pm St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 218 10th. St. S., Moorhead

Ruth O. Anderegg
Ruth O. Anderegg, 82, formerly of Grandin, ND, died Wednesday, March 8, 2006, in Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead, MN.
Ruth was born in Averill, MN, May 27, 1923, to Alfred and Olava Berg. Ruth’s family lived in several communities, including Lakota, ND, Perley, MN, and Moorhead, while her father worked for the Great Northern Railroad. She graduated from Moorhead High School in 1941, and graduated as a registered nurse from St. Luke’s Hospital School of Nursing in 1944. Ruth served as a lieutenant in the US Army Nurses Corps, during WW II, which included working at Manila’s General Hospital in the Philippines. After discharge from the army, she returned to Fargo, ND, and worked at St. Lukes. On September 15, 1951, Ruth married
Joseph L. Anderegg in Moorhead. She raised their three children and assisted with the farming operation on their farm near Grandin. After her husband’s death, Ruth moved to Fargo in 1983, where she was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Sons of Norway. She traveled extensively and enjoyed the company of her family and friends.
Ruth is survived by her three children, Lee Ann (Mark) Stenberg, of Moorhead, Mary Jo (Stephen) Basol, of Fargo, and Kim (David) Jones of Grand Forks, ND; her sister, Adeline (Joseph) Miller of Yelm, WA; and her four grandchildren, Stephanie and Matthew Basol and Kate and Patrick Jones.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Bjorgild; her brother, Herbert; and her husband, Joseph, who died in 1978.
