The bride is the daughter of Mary McCoy of Fayetteville. She is the stepdaughter of Walter Dawson of Fayetteville. The groom’s parents are Hattie Harris of Cleveland, Ohio, and Joe Louis Chapple of Valley, Ala.
The bride was escorted by her stepfather. The maid of honor was the bride’s friend, Crystal James of Fayetteville. The bridesmaids were Juliet Fyler of Atlanta; Robyn Nation of Raleigh; Trina Hunt of Landover, Md.; and Cheryl Hill of Alexandria, Va. The attendants were Phenicia Gaskin, Kechia McCoy, Tanya McCoy, Anita McCoy, Sharina Gandy, Carmen McCoy and Sasha Torrance. The junior attendants were Precious McCoy and Gilbriana Adkins. The flower girl was the bride’s daughter, Amani McCoy. The bell ringer was Rodney Baker.
The best man was the groom’s friend, Emory Hill of Laurel, Md. The groomsmen were Arthur Johnson and Gary Quarles, both of Cary; and Robert McCoy and B.J. McCoy, both of Fayetteville. The junior usher was Clifton McCoy.
The bride is in the U.S. Army stationed at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.
The groom is an installation technician with Allegiance Telecom Business Internet in Greenbelt, Md.
After a honeymoon trip to Nassau, Bahamas, the couple settled in Landover, Md.

They have four children, Jim Davis and spouse Susie Bullard Davis of Ontario, Canada; Tommy Davis and spouse Connie Henderson Davis of Hope Mills; Bobby Davis and spouse Rita Bell Davis of Hope Mills; and Danny Davis and spouse Kathy Herbert Davis of Louisville, Ky. The couple has eight grandchildren.
