The bride was escorted by her father. The matron of honor was Lynette Harrington-Crawford of Maryland. The bridesmaids were Adrienne McDonald, Keacha Dupree, DeShawn Terry, Natalie Tucker, Charlene Dunn, Gabriel Bryant and Tonya Scurlock. The flower girls were Nomeé Bratcher, Tashianna Goines. The ring bearer was Charles Jefferson.
The best man was Herman Allen of Charlotte. The groomsmen were Jeffery Booker, Kendrick Allen, Patrick O’Neal, Milford Mix, Rodney Westmoreland and Christopher McQuay.
The bride is a graduate of Richmond Senior High in Rockingham and Fayetteville State University. She is employed with the Harnett County Schools.
The groom is a graduate of Triton High School, Fayetteville State University and Temple University. He is employed with the Cumberland County Schools.
After a honeymoon trip to Nag’s Head, the couple settled in Fayetteville.

The bride was escorted by her father. The maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Heather Spears of McDonough, Ga. The bridesmaids were Heather McKemey and Abby Keener of Fayetteville, Ark.; and Laura Boen of Oklahoma City, Okla. The flower girl was Molly Schonert of Fayetteville, N.C. The ring bearer was C.J. Jeffries of St. Louis, Mo.
The best man was the groom’s friend, Jason Owens of Siloam Springs, Ark. The groomsmen were Brent Leach, Sean Leach and Jason Spears, all of Fayetteville, Ark.
The bride received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas. She is a technical assistant with the DNA Resource Center at the University of Arkansas.
The groom received his bachelor’s degree from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Okla. He is currently a dental student at the University of Tennessee in Memphis.
After a honeymoon trip to Santa Fe, N.M., the couple settled in Memphis, Tenn.

They have three children, John Robert Edge Jr. and spouse Marjorie of St. Pauls; William Edge of Cherryville; and Joyce Edge Hinson and spouse Richard of St. Pauls. The couple has six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

on November 17, 1951, in Manila, Philippines. Their children are Butch and Dorrie Harrell of Marrietta, Ga., and Bobby and Nita Tugwell of Winterville. The couple has five grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Pappas were married
on November 18, 1951, in a Greek Orthodox ceremony held at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Fayetteville and officiated by the Rev. George Stefanis of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Raleigh.
The couple has three children, Bill G. Pappas of Raleigh; Lula Griffin of Fayetteville and spouse Dan; and Peter G. Pappas of Greensboro. The couple has five grandchildren.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Douglas Gibbs of Alpharetta, Ga. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Morgan Gibbs Sr., the late Alfred Brewington and the late Ola Mae Brewington Thomas.
The bridegroom’s parents are Dr. and Mrs. Francis Joseph Dinan of Buffalo, N.Y.
The bride wore a sleeveless mermaid-style gown of matte satin with a V-neck and back. The gown featured a diagonal row of hand-embroidered ivory flowers centered with hand-sewn beads. Flowers and beads spiraled throughout the train. Her three-tiered blusher veil was made of ivory tulle trimmed with satin ribbon. She carried a cascade of white lilies, dendrobium orchids, stargazer lilies, white freesia, cream roses and lily of the valley.
The bride was escorted by her father. The matrons of honor were the bride’s sister, Deanna Gibbs Lanier, and the bride’s friend, Jennifer Coleman Stock, both of Raleigh.
The best man was the groom’s friend, Nicholas James Dombrowski of Buffalo, N.Y. The groomsmen were Michael Douglas Gibbs and Shaun Michael Dinan, both of Atlanta.
The wedding was directed by Pat Garrett. The wedding musicians were organist Jim Lancaster and violinist Geronimo.
A reception, hosted by the bride’s parents, was held at The Planters Inn beginning at 5 p.m.
The bride is a graduate of Douglas Byrd Senior High School in Fayette-ville, N.C. She received her bachelor’s degree in liberal arts with a concentration in anthropology from Peace College in Raleigh.
The bridegroom received his bachelor’s degree in geography from The State University of New York at Buffalo, N.Y. He is the senior geographical information systems applications specialist with Parsons Engineering Sciences in Atlanta.
After a honeymoon trip to France, the couple settled in Atlanta.
