The bride wore an ivory gown of beaded roses with a floorlength satin veil of ivory illusion with a crown of Austrian crystals and baby pearls. She carried a bouquet of white roses, lilies of the valley and stephanotis.
She was escorted by her father. The matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Elizabeth Gilpatrick. The bridesmaids were Patricia Strahah, Sharon Fulcher, Joanie Smith, Suzanne Ellis and Judy Schwald, all of Fayetteville. The junior bridesmaid was the bride’s niece, Lauren Smith of Fayetteville.The flower girl was Adrianna Lee Schmidt of Fayetteville. The ringbearer was the bride and groom’s son, Kenneth Lee Fulcher Jr. of Fayetteville.

The bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Bishop of Killeen, Texas. The bridegroom is the grandson of Mrs. Daisy Perkins Mayfield of Lake Providence, La., and deceased grandparents Williams Rhodes Mayfield, Mrs. Menoid Mitchell Bishop and Charles W. Bishop Sr.
The bride was escorted by her father. The matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Toni Smith Chatman of Raleigh. The maid of honor was Natasha Williams of Winston-Salem. A rehearsal dinner for the wedding party was hosted by the groom’s parents in the Sink Room of the Officers’ Club on October 5, 2001.
The bride is a graduate of the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics in Durham and Davidson College in Davidson. She did graduate study at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is employed as manager of marketing communications at The College Board in Atlanta.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Killeen High School in Killeen, Texas, and Texas A & M University in College Station, Texas. He is a senior applications developer at Siemens Energy and Automation Inc. in Atlanta.
After a honeymoon trip to the Bahamas, the couple settled in Atlanta.
