The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marion D. Davis of Holden Beach. The groom’s parents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Combs of Fayetteville.
The bride was escorted by her father. The matron of honor was the bride’s friend, Dianna Adams of Virginia Beach, Va. The bridesmaids were Toni Burnette of Asheville, Bobbie Davis of Lumberton, Michelle Seddinger of Calabash, Sonya Smith of Wilmington, Valerie Sutton of Charlotte and Ashley Taylor of Fayetteville. The honorary bridesmaids were Debbie LaBarbera of Charlotte and Felicia Hoover of Raleigh. The program attendants were Ashelynn Combs of Fayetteville and Whitney Lewis of Lumberton. The acolytes were Kyle Combs of Fayetteville and Logan Davis of Lumberton.
The best men were the groom’s brother, Cecil Combs of Fayetteville, and the groom’s friend, Bruce Jeter of Seoul, Korea. The groomsmen were Dean Davis of Lumberton and James Alexander, Robert Bailey, Michael Mangum and David Smith, all of Fayetteville. The junior groomsman was the groom’s son, Jordan Combs.
The bride received her bachelor’s degree from East Carolina University. She is a vice president with the State Employees’ Credit Union.
The groom received his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and his master’s degree from Campbell University in Buie’s Creek. He is a teacher/coach at Mac Williams Middle School in Fayetteville.
After a honeymoon trip to Aruba, the couple settled in Fayetteville.

The bride received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware and her doctoral degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She is a professor at the University of Delaware.
The groom received his bachelor’s degree at North Carolina State University and his doctoral degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He is a materials research engineer with the U.S. Army Research Lab at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Md.
After a honeymoon trip to Virginia, the couple settled in Newark, Del.

Edith Mae Felmy and Charles Edwin Felmy celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary the weekend of Oct. 26 to 28, 2001, with a family vacation at Long Beach. Mr. and Mrs. Felmy were married
on October 26, 1951, in Oval, Pa. They have five children, Deb Felmy and Kathy Hall and spouse Michael, all of Fayetteville; Larry Felmy and spouse Sherry, and Karen Faulkner and spouse Tommy, all of Hope Mills; and Edith Hall and spouse Ronnie of Tar Heel. The couple has eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Louis Henry Fogleman Jr. of Fayetteville. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Dickson of Laurinburg, formerly of Raeford, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Louis Henry Fogleman of Wadesboro.
The bride was escorted by her father. The maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Molly Hall of Wrightsville Beach. The bridesmaids were Travis Brady of San Francisco, Susi Hamilton of Wilmington and Kara Hodges of Washington. The flower girl was Alice Gaddis of Southern Pines. The ring bearer was Tripp Hodges of Washington.

The bride was escorted by her mother. The maid of honor was Lisa McGraw of Angier. The bridesmaids were Amy Autry of Roseboro; Jillea Patterson of Raleigh; Jenny Beckman and Bridget Beckman, both of Rochester, Minn.; Jamie Crayton of New Braunfels, Texas; Karen Bathke of Godwin; and Sherry Parrett of Wendell. The flower girls were Madeleine Bain and Hannah Bain, both of Fayetteville, and Emma Bullard and Kayla Bullard, both of Roseboro.

During the ceremony the bride sang a solo to her mother and husband. Other musicians were soloist Lois Autry-Smith and organist Betty McCall.
The bride is a graduate of Cape Fear High School in Fayetteville and the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She is employed with The William Thomas House Bed and Breakfast in Raleigh and Optional Living for Exceptional People in Wendell.
The groom is a graduate of Wayne High School in Huber Heights, Ohio. He attended Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio. He is a software engineer with Intervise Consultants in Raleigh.
The couple plans to live in Holly Springs.
