The bride is the daughter of Mary Alice Olinger of Spring Lake and Leon Burnett Olinger of Fayetteville. The groom’s parents are Inetha Rose of Spring Lake and Ronald Fry of Philadelphia.
The bride was escorted by her father. The matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Melisaa Couture of Sanford. The bridesmaids were Lacey Cooper of Raleigh and Erica Brodie and Laurel Geel, both of Spring Lake. The flower girl was Deidra Brown of Spring Lake. The ring bearer was James Nicholson Jr. of Hope Mills.
The best man was the groom’s brother-in-law, Brian Couture of Sanford. The groomsmen were Nicholas Knight, Rashawn Richards and Charles Richards, all of Fayetteville.
The bride is a graduate of Pine Forest High School. She received her associate’s degree in early childhood education from Fayetteville Technical Community College. She is a teacher’s assistant at Alma Easom Elementary School in Fayetteville.
The groom is a graduate of Pine Forest High School in Fayetteville.
After a honeymoon trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple plans to live in Cameron.

The bride was escorted by her son, Dustin Guinn of Fayetteville. The maid of honor was the bride’s daughter, Erin Guinn of Fayetteville. The bridesmaid was the groom’s granddaughter, Jessica Beatty of Raeford. The flower girl was the bride’s daughter, Danielle Guinn of Fayetteville. The ring bearers were the groom’s grandsons, Austin Lance of Tucson, Ariz., and Damien Fargo of Brunswick, Ga.
The best man was the groom’s oldest grandson, Jesse Bunnell of Fayetteville. The ushers were the groom’s grandsons, David Beatty and Justin Stone, both of Fayetteville.
The bride is a graduate of South View High School in Hope Mills. She is a rewinder/inspector with Burkhead Devane Printing Co. in Fayetteville.
The groom is a graduate of Parton High School. He is the chief plumbing inspector with the Cumberland County Inspection Department.

on June 29, 1951, at the Jefferson County Courthouse in Birmingham, Ala. They have three children Claudia McMullen Powell and her husband Jimmie, Mavis Jo McMullen Muldrow and her husband Jeffrey and Darryl Burroughs McMullen. The McMullens have five grandchildren.

Rev. & Mrs. McKoy
Inez Dean and the Rev. John McKoy Jr. celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on August 4, 2001, with a renewal of their vows at Spring Lake Memorial Church. The “Golden Moments” reaffirmation ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Dr. Matthew Rouse Jr..
The Rev. and Mrs. McKoy were married
on May 3, 1951, in Fayetteville.
The anniversary party included Mrs. McKoy’s brother, James Dean; the couple’s son, Kenneth McKoy, who served as best man; and the couple’s daughter, Karen McKoy Rowe, who served as the matron of honor. Other members of the party were Cynthia Bell, Dr. Eugenia Perkins, Erin Rowe, Blaire Rowe, Atron Rowe, Kelvin McKoy, Robert Hamer and Dorian Manuel. Members of the Spring Lake Memorial ministerial staff and the Deacon Board, along with their spouses, were groomsmen attendants.
The celebration was directed by Michael E. Smith. The musicians were William McLean Jr. and the Avolonte String Quartet.
Members of the Spring Lake Memorial Church family sponsored an elegant reception in the church hall following the ceremony.
Following the reception, the Golden couple was whisked away by Unique Limo Services to an “unknown destination.”
Inez Dean McKoy is an educator and is employed by the Robeson County Schools.
The Rev. John McKoy is a retired civil servant and the pastor of Spring Lake Memorial Missionary Baptist Church in Spring Lake.
The McKoys are original founders of the Spring Lake Memorial Church. They have lived in Spring Lake for 50 years.
