The bridesmaids were Traci Williams and Michelle Williford Hallas, both of Fayetteville, Paula Carr of Atlanta, April Holt of Charlotte, Paige Morgan of Greenville and Shannon Renegar of Clemmons. The flower girl was Chelsie Cromer of Fayetteville. The ring bearer was Tyler Waugh of Havelock.
The best man was the groom’s best friend, Bryan Phillips of Wilmington. The groomsmen were Brian Barber, Jason Childers, Al Cromer III, Dean Holloway, Isaiah Walker Jr. and Jason Wolfe, all of Fayetteville.
The wedding was directed by Lee Ammons. The wedding musicians were soloist and pianist Sheila Hanrick, soloist Jessica Gilmore and a trumpeter and string quartet.
A reception, hosted by the bride’s parents, was held at Highland Country Club immediately after the ceremony.
The bride is a graduate of South View High School in Hope Mills. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a control scientist with DSM Catalytica Pharmaceuticals in Greenville.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Douglas Byrd High School in Fayetteville. The groom received his bachelor’s degree in physical education and history from Fayetteville State University and his master’s degree in athletic administration and physical education from East Carolina University. He is a teacher and basketball coach with the Pitt County Schools.
After a honeymoon trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple plans to live in Winterville.

The best man was the groom’s father. The groomsmen were Steven Vincent Avdul of New York; Scott Douglass and Scott McIver Jackson, both of Charlotte; Mark Gerald Hatton of Spartanburg, S.C.; and Brad Eugene Shaver of Newport.
The bride is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a mathematics teacher with the Cabarrus County Schools.
The groom also is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is an analyst with First Union Capital Markets.
The couple will live in Charlotte.
