Laura Jones Stevens and Chad Everette Reynolds were married
at 11 a.m., August 3 at University Presbyterian Church in Chapel Hill. The Rev. Robert A. Dunham officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. William Finch Troxler of Raleigh and Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Seward Stevens of Chapel Hill. She is a graduate of Peace College and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She works at First Citizens Bank in Greenville.
The groom is the son of John Curtis Reynolds and Edna Murphy Reynolds, both of Kinston. He received bachelor's and master's degrees from East Carolina University and is the director of basketball operations for ECU.
Maid of honor was Hannah Gray Styron of Buies Creek; matron of honor was Julie Fields Batton of Greenville. Bridesmaids were Julia Catherine Morris of Seattle, Wash.; Caroline Keaton Vinson of Raleigh; and Margaret Briggs Thompson and Sarah Ashley Robertson, both of Charlotte. Flower girl was Elizabeth Lynn Thompson of Charlotte.
Best man was the groom's father. Groomsmen were Justin Christopher Ley of Cary; Robert Collins Wingerter of Greer, S.C.; and Gary Faison Watkins Jr., Michael Lee West Jr. and Robert Joshua Worthington, all of Raleigh.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Carolina Club.
A wedding trip to Aruba was planned.
The couple will reside in Greenville.

The bride-elect received a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Georgia. She is a staff photographer for the Union-Recorder in Milledgeville, Ga.
The groom-elect received a bachelor’s degree in French from the University of Georgia. He is employed by The Princeton Review and Grimes Landscaping Company in Athens, Ga.
A wedding is planned for July 17 in the Catskills of New York.

Tara Lynn Billingsley and John Robert Ball were married
Sept. 28, 2003, at Woodend, the historic site of the Audubon Naturalist Society in Chevy Chase, Md. The bride’s father officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of the Rev. Michael and Judy Billingsley of Marietta, Ga. She graduated from American University and received a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, both in Washington, D.C. She is an energy security specialist at the Department of Energy in Washington.
The groom is the son of Anne and Jan Sassaman of Chapel Hill and John Ball and Preston Reynolds of Chicago, Ill., and Havre de Grace, Md. He graduated from Pomona College in Claremont, Calif., and received a master’s degree from the University of Washington in Seattle. He is an international program analyst at the General Accounting Office in Washington, D.C.
Matron of honor was Tamara Lynn Buck of Acworth, Ga. (sister of the bride). Flower girls were Kaitlyn Amanda Buck of Acworth, Ga. (niece of the bride), and Meredith Meixi Cropley of Richmond, Va. (niece of the groom). The groom was attended by his sister, Kristen Anne Ball of Richmond, Va. Ringbearer was Michael Thomas Buck of Acworth, Ga. (nephew of the bride).
A reception hosted by the couple and their families followed the ceremony at Woodend.
Following a wedding trip to Deep Creek Lake, Md., the couple lives in Washington, D.C.

The groom-elect is a graduate of the University of Oregon at Eugene and is a civil engineer in Portland.

The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Margaret Duckworth of Oxford. She received a bachelor’s degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and is a clinical research monitor with PPD in Research Triangle Park.
The groom is the son of Lanny Steve and Donna Harward of Chapel Hill. He received a bachelor’s degree from UNC-Pembroke and is a broker with ICAP Energy of Chapel Hill.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Matron of honor was Brookey Duckworth Hardee of Raleigh (sister of the bride). Maid of honor was Kathryn Duckworth of Raleigh (sister of the bride). Bridesmaids were Lisa Weissman-Ward of Chapel Hill, Kelsey Chittick of Los Angeles and Courtney Tucker-Baker of Raleigh. Honorary bridesmaids were Monica Dastous and Hilary Hoskins, both of Raleigh.
Best men were the father of the groom and Seth D. Harward of Chapel Hill (brother of the groom). Groomsmen were Joshua E. Duckworth of Henderson (brother of the bride), David Scheuermann of Chapel Hill and Robert Rindfuss of Austin, Texas. Honorary groomsmen were Richard Harris of Chapel Hill and Michael Getter of Raleigh.

A reception was hosted by the families of the bride and groom at The Carolina Inn.
Following a wedding trip to Mexico, the couple will live in Chapel Hill.

The bride is the daughter of Jerry and Jill Passmore of Chapel Hill. She received degrees from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and is an elementary school teacher for Davidson County Schools.
The groom is the son of Howard and Nancy Fleming of Greensboro. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and is the college program associate at Westover Church in Greensboro.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Heather Willis of Greensboro. Bridesmaids were Dana Reed, Jamie Hill and Vickie Korby, all of Greensboro; Ginny Willis of Raleigh; Barbara Brown of Austin, Texas; and Elisabeth York of Liberty. McKenzie Branham of Greensboro was the flower girl.
Best man was Matt Fleming of Boone. Groomsmen were Luke Blaine, Brian Maleski and Jonathan Adams, all of Greensboro; Gabe Robinson of Burlington; Mike Sullivan of Chapel Hill; and Rusty Eriksen of Chapel Hill. Timothy Branham of Greensboro was ring bearer.

A wedding trip to St. Lucia and Asheville was planned.
The couple will reside in Greensboro.
