The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charland K. Raynor of Raeford. The groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ray Williams of Fayetteville.

The bride was escorted by her father. The maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Jennifer Hill of Raeford. The bridesmaids were Lisa Sheppard-Goodlett of Baton Rouge, La.; Latasha Boyer of Houston; Susan Smith of Hope Mills; Amanda Holloway of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and Mandy Williams of Greenville.

The best man was the groom’s father. The groomsmen were Bryan Williams of Jackson, Tenn.; Rusty Stevens of Charlotte; Chad Smith of Hope Mills; John Boyer of Houston; and Mike Williams of Greenville.

The bride received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Appalachian State University and is enrolled in the master’s degree program at East Carolina University. She is a graduate assistant at the university.

The groom is a student at East Carolina University working toward his bachelor’s degree and an eventual master’s degree in construction management. He is an intern at Hendrix-Barnhill Construction.

The couple plans to live in Greenville.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Howard Roberts III of Fayetteville. The groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Javoroski of Iron River.

The bride was escorted by her father. The maid of honor was Bonnie Clifton of Sanford. The matron of honor was Meredith Layton of Williamston. The bridesmaid was Amy Keene of Goldsboro.

The best man was the groom’s cousin, Brian Javoroski of Iron River. The groomsmen were Dan Nichols of North Canton, Ohio, and William Walker of Easton, Penn.

The bride is a graduate of Peace College and Meredith College, both in Raleigh. She is a fourth-grade teacher with the Wake County School System.

The groom is a student in the chemical engineering program at North Carolina State University in Raleigh.

The couple plans to live in Garner.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer G. Capps of Fayetteville. She also is the granddaughter of Mrs. Elgie Barefoot of Spring Lake, the late Mr. Carlie Barefoot of Spring Lake and the late Mr. and Mrs. Elmer G. Capps Sr. of Fayetteville.

The bridegroom’s mother is Ms. Beth Myrtle of Niagara Falls, N.Y. The bridegroom also is the grandson of the late Mrs. Kathryn Myrtle of Niagara Falls.

The bride was escorted by her father. The matrons of honor were the bride’s friends, Jennifer Davis of High Point and Kim Donaldson of Roswell, Ga. The bridesmaids were the groom’s sister, Kathryn Bennett of Meredith, N.H., and the bride’s friends, Vicky Ciani, Alison Draughon and Jennifer Pittman, all of Fayetteville. The child attendants were Averi Donaldson of Roswell, Ga., and Brayden Ciani of Fayetteville.

The best man was the groom’s friend, Mike Ciani of Fayetteville. The groomsmen were the bride’s brother, Nicklaus Capps of Fayetteville, and the groom’s friends, Hal Clifton and Vernon Aldridge, both of Fayetteville, and Trey Bostick of Nokesville, Va., and Brad Maloney of Rocky Mount.

The wedding was directed by Jolene Maxwell and Linda Wheeler. The wedding musicians were soloists Jennifer Brewington, David Culbreth and William Maiden; violinists Mary Beth Kaneklides and Jenna Whittington; trumpeter William Bradley; and organist Jennifer Brewington.

A reception, hosted by the bride’s parents, was held at the Fort Bragg Officers’ Club after the ceremony.

The bride is a graduate of Seventy-First High School. She received her bachelor’s degree in industrial relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a teacher with the Cumberland County Schools at Westover High School.

The bridegroom is a graduate Niagara Falls High School in New York. He received his bachelor’s degree in physical education from Methodist College in Fayetteville and his master’s degree in physical education from North Carolina A&T State University in Greenville. He is a teacher, coach and assistant athletic director with the Cumberland County Schools at Jack Britt High School.

The couple will live in Fayetteville.

The matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Ronda Sale of Winston-Salem. The bridesmaid was the bride’s legal assistant, Cindy Howell of Winston-Salem. The child attendant was the bride’s daughter, Petesie Clary of Winston-Salem. The bride wore an heirloom dress originally worn by the groom’s mother, Joy Downing, at her wedding to C.V. Downing Sr.

The best man was C.V. Downing Sr. The groomsmen were the groom’s son, Jonathan H. Downing of Fayetteville and the groom’s brother, David Downing of Wilmington.

The bride is a graduate of Pfeiffer College, magna cum laude, and the University of North Carolina School of Law at Chapel Hill. She is an attorney in private practice. Her practice is limited to workers’ compensation. A former prosecutor, she was the first female prosecutor in the state to obtain a death penalty conviction.

The groom is a graduate of East Carolina University in Greenville. He is a CPA in private practice in Cedar Creek where he operates C.V. Downing & Sons Farm with his father.

After a honeymoon trip to New York City, the couple lives on Bogie Island Farm in Cedar Creek.
