The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Southview Senior High School in Fayetteville and is obtaining his degree from Pikes Peak Community College. He is a firefighter with the City of Raleigh Fire Department.

The couple plans to live in Fuquay-Varina.

The bride is the daughter of Judge and Mrs. Joe Freeman Britt of Lumberton. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. William Durham Linkhaw, the late Mr. Linkhaw, Mrs. Caswell Pinkney Britt and the late Mr. Britt, all of Lumberton, N.C.

The bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Harbert Lee Jordan of Cleveland, Miss. The bridegroom is the grandson of Mrs. David Marion Fleming, the late Mr. Fleming and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harbert Monroe Jordan, all of Cleveland, Miss.

The bride was escorted by her father. The maid of honor was the bride’s friend, Sara Wadhwani of Boston.

The best man was the groom’s father. The ushers were the bride’s brother, Joe Britt Jr. of Palo Alto, Calif.; the groom’s brother, Daniel Jordan of Cleveland, Miss.; and Bobby Evans and Carlos Oblites, both of San Francisco.

The wedding was directed by Joyce Sarkisian of San Francisco. The wedding musicians were Jeremy Ricketts, Michelle Michalak, Pam Johnston, Wayne Basker and Nicky Spence.

A reception, hosted by the bride’s parents, was held immediately following the ceremony at the Fort Mason Officers Club in San Francisco.

The bride is a graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem. She graduated from Wake Forest University as a Presidential Scholar with a bachelor of science degree in mathematical economics. She is a senior group underwriter with Uniprise Strategic Solutions in San Francisco.

The bridegroom received his bachelor of science degree, summa cum laude, in accountancy from the University of Alabama. He received his juris doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School. He is an attorney with the law firm of Hancock, Rothert and Bunshoft.

The couple will live in San Francisco.

The bride is the daughter of Patricia Reilly and the stepdaughter of Patrick J. Koehne, both of Fayetteville, N.C. The groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Richard Surdez of Hillsdale.

The bride was escorted by her stepfather. The maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Maura O. Browning of Knoxville, Tenn. The matron of honor was Megan R. Giles, the bride’s sister, of Washington, D.C. The bridesmaids were Colleen Quinn of Washington, D.C., and Susan Surdez of Hillsdale. The child attendant was the bride’s niece, Anja Fern Browning of Kansas City, Mo.

The best man was the groom’s father. The groomsmen were James Blanchette of Groton, Conn., Christopher Rothemich of Brookline, Mass., and Gregory DiFalco of Brooklyn, N.Y.

The bride is a graduate of Terry Sanford Senior High School in Fayetteville, N.C., and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She is employed as a technical training coordinator with Pearson Technology Centre of Old Tappan.

The groom is a graduate Northern Valley Regional High School in Old Tappan and Providence College in Providence, R.I. He is a graduate student at Montclair State University.

The couple plans to live in New Jersey.

The bride received her bachelor’s degree from Ibero-Americano University in Mexico City. She is an architect in Newport Beach.

The groom is a graduate of Douglas Byrd Senior High School in Fayetteville. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and his master’s degree from Troy University in Kaiserslautern, Germany. He is a major in the U.S. Air Force, stationed at the Space and Missile Center in Los Angeles.

The couple plans to live in Los Angeles.
