They have four children, Harold McClellan of Fayetteville, Max McClellan Jr. of Fredericksburg, Va., the Rev. David McClellan of Barnesville and Dana McClellan of Cayce, S.C.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

at 5 p.m. on November 18, 2000, at Cape Fear Baptist Church in Fayetteville, the site of the groom’s parents’ wedding in 1970. The Rev. Bobby Locklear officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard M. Puckett of Fayetteville. She is the granddaughter of Lona Marie Phillips and the late Carl Phillips of Trinity and the late Bill and Mary Southern Puckett of High Point.
The bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Gibbs of Alpharetta. He is the grandson of the late Mildred and James Morgan Gibbs and the late Alfred and Ola Mae Brewington, all of Fayetteville.
The bride wore an ivory satin gown with a strapless bodice trimmed in crystals. The gown featured a diagonal band of crystal sprays and scattered rum-pink flowers centered with beads. Flowers and crystal sprays also accented the train. She carried a bouquet of ivory roses and baby’s breath, wrapped in sheer ivory ribbon. Her fingertip-length veil was of iridescent illusion and she wore her mother’s antique amber necklace.
The bride was escorted by her father. The matron of honor was her sister, Pamela Lynn Presnell of Key West, Fla. Her other sister, Audri Blake Puckett of Greensboro, was her maid of honor. The bridesmaids, sisters of the groom, were Constance Erica Gibbs of Alpharetta and Deanna Gibbs Lanier of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
The best man was the groom’s friend, Jeffrey Christopher Johnson of Greensboro. The groomsmen were Michael John Bousquet of West Milford, N.J., and John Paul Lally and Eric Vandesteeg, both of Atlanta.
The wedding was directed by the bride’s maternal aunt, Mrs. Shelby Dunlap of Trinity. The wedding organist was Jennifer Brewington.
A reception, hosted by the bride’s parents, was held immediately after the ceremony at The Arts Center in downtown Fayetteville.
The bride is a graduate of Cape Fear Senior High School in Fayetteville. She attended Appalachian State University and Bauder College in Atlanta.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Douglas Byrd Senior High School in Fayetteville and attended North Carolina State University and Kennesaw State University. He is employed as a buyer with L-3 Communications in Atlanta.
After a honeymoon trip to San Francisco, Calif., the couple will live in Atlanta.

on February 10, 1951, at the Main Post Chapel on Fort Bragg. They have two children, Valerie J. Kovalchik and Robbin Tatum, both of Fayetteville, and three grandchildren.
