WAKE FOREST — Tyler Lynn Perry and William Jackson McFadyen, both of Raleigh, were married
at 6 p.m. on December 9, at Wake Forest Baptist Church with the Rev. Dick Graves officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Albert Perry Jr. of Wake Forest. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. P.L. Moody and Albert Perry, both of Wake Forest.
The bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Donald Jackson McFadyen of Fayetteville. The bridegroom is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. Oscar L. McFadyen of Fayetteville, Mrs. William H. Moberley of Mount Sterling, Ky., and the late William H. Moberley.
The bride wore an ivory gown of candlelight matte satin. Her gown featured a scoop neckline and fitted bodice enhanced with narrow bands of satin which flowed into a full ball skirt. She carried a bouquet of white stephanotis, lilies and roses; gardenias; lily of the valley; and ivy. A headband of satin covered in pearls held a two-tiered cathedral-length veil.
The bride was escorted by her father. The maid of honor was Amber Elizabeth Hayes of Wilmington. The bridesmaids were Jodie Molin and Kathryn Witort, both of Wilmington; Laura Blackburn of Greensboro; Mandy Hockstra of Raleigh; Nicole Jenks of Wake Forest; Carla Lee of Augusta, Ga.; and Jennifer Earp and Danielle Santella, both of Charlotte. The junior bridesmaid was Mary Ashlyn Moore. The ring bearer was Bradley Moody.
The best man was the groom’s father. The groomsmen were Max Weinstein of Fayetteville; Ryan Tanner, Ryan Boone, Lee Flora and Brian Street, all of Wilmington; Todd Sullivan and Clark Smith of Raleigh; and Channing Hill of Benson.
The wedding was directed by Mrs. Dick Graves. The wedding musicians were soloist Ginger Graves, organist Susan Moss and trumpeter Jack Sowisdral.
A reception, hosted by the bride’s parents, was held at the Wakefield Plantation after the ceremony.
The bride is a graduate of the Wake Forest Rollesville High School and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where she was a member of the Alpha Phi Sorority. She is a teacher with the Wake County Schools.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Fayetteville Academy and UNC-Wilmington where he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Order. He is employed as a systems manager with Fleet Edge.com Inc. in Raleigh.
After a honeymoon trip to Jamaica, the couple will live in Raleigh.

The bride is the granddaughter of Ms. Emagene DeGlandon of Austin, Texas, Ms. Bobbie Edge of Fayetteville, N.C., and Mr. Donald W. Edge Sr. of Wilmington, N.C. She is the great-granddaughter of Ms. Mary White of Fayetteville.
The groom’s parents are John and Marsha Draa of Baltimore. He is the grandson of Ms. Helen Volovar of North Lima, Ohio, and Ms. Emma Draa of Boardman, Ohio.
