Minchew - Riggs
Karrie Ann Riggs and Jeffery Scott Minchew said their marriage vows Sept. 3, 2004 at 7 p.m.
Pastor Rick Mondell, father of the bride, officiated at the double-ring ceremony at New Life Baptist Church.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Rick Mondell of Goldsboro.
Gail Minchew of Goldsboro and Marshall Minchew of Four Oaks are parents of the groom.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her son, Scotty Riggs, and daughter, Debra Riggs, the bride wore a sweetheart neckline dress with a lace overlay and a long flowing skirt.
She carried a clutch bouquet of Virginia roses with matching ribbon.
Her children were attendants.
A program of wedding music was provided by Freddie Stroud of LaGrange.
After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple is residing in Goldsboro.
The bride is a 1988 graduate of Eastern Wayne High School. She attended Wayne Community College. She is employed as Wayne County jury clerk and secretary to Clerk of Superior Court Marshall Minchew.
The groom graduated from Goldsboro Christian School in 1988. He attended Wayne Community College. He is employed with Bill’s Golf Carts.
Following the ceremony, the groom’s family and friends held a reception in the church fellowship hall. Presiding at the register was Susie Johnson, co-worker of the bride. Kim Rogers, co-worker of the bride, served the wedding cake.
Lampron - Coltren
MOUNT OLIVE — Amber Nicole Coltren and Robert Daniel “Danny” Lampron of Mount Olive were married
Oct. 9, 2004 at 6 p.m.
Dr. Ray Warren officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Unity Baptist Church.
The bride is the daughter of Dallas Ray Coltren and Carellen Maness Coltren of Mount Olive. She is the granddaughter of George and Reva Coltren of Mount Olive and Gaston and Lula Maness of Warsaw.
The groom is the son of Billy Joseph Tucker and Phyllis Kelly Tucker of Mount Olive and Robert Alan Lampron and Fran Lampron of Reidsville. He is the grandson of Bobby Ray Kelly and Shirley Patterson Kelly of Mount Olive and Tony and Carolyn Lampron of Saulisbury.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a couture gown of white Italian satin with a boat neckline. The bodice was embellished with silver beads, crystals and pearls. The A-line skirt cascaded into a chapel-length train adorned with silver beads, crystals and pearls.
For her headpiece, she chose a tiara of Austrian crystals accented with a two-tiered fingertip veil of silk illusion with a pencil edge. She carried white roses hand-tied with satin ribbon.
Tracy C. Barwick, sister, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Brenda C. Phillips and Sarah C. Kelly of Mount Olive, sisters of the bride, and Brittney M. Coltren of Mount Olive, niece of the bride.
Bobby R. Kelly was his grandson’s best man. Groomsmen were Allen Lampron of Reidsville, father of the groom; Phillip Lampron of Mount Olive, brother of the groom; Andrew Blackwell of Raleigh, friend of the couple; and Ricky Coltren of Mount Olive, brother of the bride.
Scarlet Kelly, niece of the bride, and Kelly Stroud and Kimberly Stroud, cousins of the groom, were flower girls. Dallas Coltren Barwick, nephew, was ring bearer.
Robin Boyd Webster directed the ceremony. Presiding at the register were Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Stroud. Brooke Swinson distributed programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by Deborah Kornegay, pianist; Bobby Boyd, vocalist; and Paul and Jon Kornegay, violinists.
After a wedding trip to the coast, the couple will reside in Mount Olive.
The bride is a 2001 honor graduate of North Duplin High School and a 2004 graduate with a nursing degree. She is employed as a registered nurse at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The groom graduated with honors from North Duplin High School in 1999 and from North Carolina State University in 2003 with a degree in industrial engineering. He is employed as a logistic manager and systems analyst with Pate-Dawson Co.
Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents held a reception in the church fellowship hall. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Stroud greeted guests. Nancy Brock and Nelly Hall, aunt of the groom, cut the wedding cake. Della Swinson, friend of the couple, poured punch.

Holloman - Harris
FARMVILLE — Ashley Brooke Harris and John Randall Holloman were united in marriage Sept. 18, 2004 at 3 p.m.
Walter Reynolds officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Friendship Free Will Baptist Church.
Parents of the bride are Willie Gray Jr. and Penny Lynn Harris of SnowHill. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willie G. Harris Sr. of Snow Hill, Louise Ginn of Pikeville and Bailey F. Shingleton.
The groom is the son of Tony R. and Rose T. Holloman of Walston-burg. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Holloman of Walstonburg, Kathryn Tyson of Farmville and the late Jo Ab Tyson.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a formal gown of white satin with a strapless neckline. The empire bodice was embellished with silver bugle beads, pearls and sequins. It flowed into an A-line skirt. The beaded bodice cascaded into a semi-cathedral train.
For her headpiece, she chose a tiara of rhinestones enhanced with a two-tiered veil of silk illusion trimmed with rhinestones. She carried a teardrop pave of white roses accented with peach calla lilies.
Dana Toole, friend, was matron of honor. Lindsey Harris, sister, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda Holloman, sister of the groom; Renee Cobb and Robin Irby, friends; and Amber Harris, cousin of the bride.
Tony Holloman was his son’s best man. Groomsmen were Kevin Holloman, brother of the groom; Craig Baucom, cousin of the groom; Michael Cobb and Claude Brock, friends; and Patrick Cobb, cousin.

The groom graduated from Greene Central High School in 2000. He attended Pitt Community College. He is co-owner of Jak-Moulding and Supply.

Mr. and Mrs. Willifred M. Rouse Sr. of Albertson are parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of the late Forrest and Dorothy Brock Rouse of Liddell and the late Milford Russell and Carrie Parrish Vinson of LaGrange.
Melvin Lee Dixon Sr. and the late Ruby Arlene Dixon of Wallace are parents of the groom.
Presented in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a gown of gold bridal satin with a side draped A-line skirt with a beaded empire strapless bodice that flowed into a chapel-length train.
For her headpiece, she chose a fingertip veil of gold illusion with braided satin pencil edging attached to a tiara aodrned with miniature pearls and stardust crystals interspersed with petite rose leaves of gold. She carried a clutch bouquet of pink vogue roses hand-tied with pink sheer satin edged ribbon.
Linda Rouse Murphy of Albertson, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kayla Dixon of Wallace, daughter of the groom; Jennifer Murphy Sumner of Pink Hill, niece of the bride; and Vidette Rouse of Raleigh, cousin of the bride.

For her headpiece, she chose a bandeau of Swarovski crystal flowers and marquis rhinestone leaves with a two-tiered veil dotted with rhinestones and crystals on a hidden comb. She carried a clutch bouquet of Virginia roses and white Bouvardia with stems wrapped with sheer ribbon accented with black pearls.
