The bridegroom is the son of Alice Blomberg and the late Rev. Sven Blomberg of Durham, NC.
The matron of honor was Angel Jordan and maid of honor was Brittany Ellis. Other bridal attendants were Nicole Newton, Stacy Allen, Gina Walker, Joy Ellis and Deana Carden.
Best man was Shane Russel. Ushers were Kevin Blomberg, Sven Blomberg, Andrew Blomberg, Stephen Blomberg and Grant Jordan.
Flower girl was Amanda Blomberg. Ring bearer was Alex Blomberg.
A reception was held at the Bahama Ruritan Club.
The bride and groom are both graduates of North Carolina State University.
They are both employed by Vector Tobacco.

The bride graduated from Rice University. She is employed by Thomson Learning as the Marketing Manager.

Maid of honor was Miss Kelly Nicole Furr. Bridesmaids were Miss Jenifer Hall, Miss Alice Kettlewell, Mrs. Kelly McNeill, Mrs. Whitney Matheson, Mrs. Bettina Peterson, Mrs. Sonia Lopez and Mrs. Megan Lopez. Junior bridesmaids were Miss Brittany Furr and Miss Sarah Allison.
Flower girls were Misses Madison, Elizabeth Ann and Rebecca Peterson.

A dinner reception and dance honoring the couple was held in the Grandview Ballroom of the Grandover Resort the evening of the wedding.

Robins Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. James A. Robins, III of Durham, NC celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec.8th, 2001 with a trip to Williamsburg, VA.
The couple has five children: Sherwood Robins and wife, Leigh of Durham; Mary Gwen Shaffernoth and huband, Charlie of Mathews, NC; Barbara Robins of New York City, NY; Carol Battle and husband, Richard of Raleigh; and Doug Robins and wife, Kim of Bahama, NC. They have thirteen grandchildren.
They were married
on Dec. 8, 1951 in Hazeltown, PA.
Their children and grandchildren are very proud of Jacque and Jim's 50th anniversary and love them very much!!!
