The bride is the daughter of Luz Dustin of Fort Worth, Texas, and the late Maj. Richard Dustin. The groom’s parents are Renate Blanton and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Blanton, all of Fayetteville.
The bride was escorted by her uncle, Dean Whitmer of Fayetteville. The maids of honor were the bride’s friends, Christy Bullard and Shelley Bennett. The bridesmaids were Brandie Perez of West Hampton, N.J.; Mary Dustin of Fort Worth, Texas; Nichole Miller and Pamala Martin, both of Fayetteville; and Heather Ell of Minot, N.D. The flower girls were Brianna Jackson and Haleigh Martin. The ring bearer was Gabriel Blanton.
The best man was the groom’s friend, Jackie Sluder of Fayetteville. The groomsmen were Chad Blanton, William Blanton, Todd Jackson and Jeff Jackson, all of Fayetteville; Jason Dustin of Fort Worth, Texas; and Clay Nepstad of Parisburg, Va.
The bride is a graduate of Pine Forest Senior High School in Fayetteville and is an apprentice optician and sales supervisor with Lenscrafters in Fayetteville.
The groom is a graduate of E.E. Smith High School and Fayetteville State University. He is a sales representative with Blanton Heating and Air Conditioning.
After a honeymoon trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple plans to live in Fayetteville.

The bride was escorted by her brother, Derrick McMillan of Japan. The maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Erica Hughey of Fayetteville. The bridesmaids were Gina Evans of Manassas, Va., and Rochelle Taylor and Martesa Williams, both of Raleigh. The flower girl was Aynaiaya Morris and the ring bearer was Charles H. Geter.
The best man was the groom’s brother, Nathaniel Dumas of Durham. The groomsmen were Andre Nicholson and Nsilo Reddick, both of Atlanta, Ga., and Chuck Paylin of Raleigh.
The bride received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Pembroke State University. She is a laboratory support technical supervisor with Bayer Corp.
The groom earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Fayetteville State University. He is a scientist with Diosynth in Research Triangle Park.
After a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, the couple settled in Raleigh.

The groom received his bachelor’s degree from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque and his juris doctorate degree from the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma. He is a judge advocate with the U.S. Air Force stationed at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C.
After a honeymoon trip to the Eastern Caribbean, the couple will be settling in San Antonio, Texas.
