The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wood of Oklahoma City, Okla. The groom’s parents are Cathy Stedman of St. Pauls and Tony Jackson of Fayetteville. He is the stepson of Holly Jackson of Fayetteville and Danny Stedman of St. Pauls.
The bride was escorted by her father. The matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Edwina Pence of Winston-Salem. The maid of honor also was the bride’s sister, Elaine Wood of Dublin, Va. The bridesmaids were Christina Bennett and Kim Wood, both of Fayetteville; Hope Jones of Macon, Ga.; and Leslie Shepheard of Redford, Va. The flower girls were MacKenzie Pence and Lindsay Pence, both of Winston-Salem, and the ring bear was Dylan Jackson of Fayetteville.
The best man was the groom’s father. The groomsmen were Clay Adams of Dunn; Daniel Beard of Cary; Janling Fu of Princeton, N.J.; Ted Kang of Santa Monica, Calif.; Brian Kinlaw of Lillington; John Lin of New York, N.Y.; and Edward Wood Jr. of Fayetteville.
The bride received her bachelor’s degree in religion from Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Ga., and her master’s degree in counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, Mass. She is a counselor at Northwood Temple in Fayetteville.
The groom received his bachelor’s degree in religion from Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Ga., and his master’s of divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, Mass. He received his master’s degree in philosophy from the University of Cambridge in Cambridge, United Kingdom. He is an associate pastor of Northwood Temple.
After a honeymoon trip to Mazatlan, Mexico, the couple plans to live in Fayetteville.

Celebrating 25 Years
Deborah Jean Bailey and Stanley Michael Bailey of Fayetteville celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on September 17, 2002. The couple renewed their vows at the Fayetteville Deliverance Evangelistic Center on September 28, 2002. Mr. and Mrs. Bailey were married
on September 17, 1977, in Dayton, Ohio. They have three children, Daria Bailey and Derrick Bailey, both of Fayetteville, and Stacey Bailey of Charlotte. The couple has one grandchild.

on September 24, 1952, at the Cedar Creek Baptist Church Parsonage in Fayetteville. They have four children, Tony Page and wife Janice, and Robin Smith and husband Billy, all of Shallotte; and Dawna Young and husband Gary and Martha Carlyle and husband Johnny Ray, all of Ash. The couple has six grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren.

The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Selma High School in Selma, Ala. He received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in business administration from Webster University. He is a C-130 Formal Training Unit Instructor Pilot with the U.S. Air Force, stationed at Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark.
