The bride is the daughter of Connie Adams of Fayetteville and the late Mikeal Adams. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Adams of Hope Mills and Mr. and Mrs. E.J. Edge of Fayetteville.

The bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Larry Piner of Fayetteville. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Troy McLean and the late Mr. and Mrs. Tom Piner, all of Fayetteville.

A small reception was held after the ceremony.

The bride is a graduate of South View High School in Hope Mills. She received her bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and also graduated from Mitchell’s Cosmetology Academy in Fayetteville.

The bridegroom is a graduate of South View High School in Hope Mills. He attended Mount Olive College and the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. He is a press operator with The Fayetteville Observer.

After a honeymoon in Nassau, the couple settled in Gray’s Creek.

The bearer of petals was Amber Evans of Pleasant Garden and the ring bearer was Christian Evans of Milton.

The best men were Jason Graves of Raleigh and Marland Wiggins of Greensboro. The groomsmen were Kenyatta Fred Brandon and Gregory Ingram, both of Milton; Melbrice Anthony Readus of Fort Eustis, Va.; the Rev. Nathan Scovens of Greensboro; Sheldon Stewart of Crystal Hill, Va.; DeMon Wiggins of Easton, Pa.; and Brent Woods of Charlotte. The ushers were Mark Ingram of Pelham and Barry White of Danville, Va. The junior usher was Jordan Hanner of Greensboro.

The bride is a graduate of E.E. Smith High School in Fayetteville, North Carolina Central University in Durham and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is a teacher in Greensboro with the Guilford County School System.

The groom is a graduate of Bartlett-Yancy High School in Yancyville and North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro. He is a teacher with the Danville City School System in Danville, Va.

After a honeymoon trip to Orlando, Fla., the couple plans to live in Greensboro.
