The bride is the daughter of Linda Chestnut of Fayetteville, John Somerindyke of St. Francisville, La., and the late James Chestnut. The groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. James Gouvin of Monson, Mass.
The maid of honor was Kristi Leonard of Athens, Ga. The bridesmaids were Heather Davis of Gainesville, Fla.; Lara T. Smith of Columbia, S.C.; Tracy Schuster of Davenport, Iowa; Tanya Gouvin and Jennifer Gouvin, both of Monson; and Elizabeth Somerindyke of Fayetteville, N.C.
The best man was Sean Gouvin of Monson. The groomsmen were Kevin Brayton of Somers, Conn.; John Muscaro of Hatfield; Nate Pekala of Monson; Pete Celbus; Nate Kology of Bristol, Conn.; and Paul Chestnut and John Somerindyke, both of Fayetteville, N.C.
The bride earned her doctorate degree in educational psychology and research from the University of South Carolina. She is a grants coordinator with Richland School District Two.
The groom received his bachelor’s degree in business management from North Adams State College. He is a sales supervisor with Bose Corp.
After a honeymoon trip to Hilton Head Island, the couple plans to live in Columbia, S.C.

at 2 p.m. on June 22, 2002, at Peace College in the Dinwiddie Chapel. The Rev. Bob Inskeep officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim N. Tripp of Lumberton. She is the granddaughter of Sarah Carter Sibley of New Bern, the late Maj. Warren Crapon Sibley Jr., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee Tripp, formerly of Sanford.
The bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Tony Pasetti Sr. of Tampa, Fla. He is the grandson of Ramona L. Alvarez of Tampa, Fla., the late Manual Gerald Alvarez, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Gregorio Pasetto.
The bride’s dress was of candlelight Duchess satin and featured a bodice of crystals, pearls and sequins with a basque waist and a cathedral-length train. The fingertip veil was held by an original sterling comb accented with crystals and seed pearls. The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of ivory roses.
The bride was escorted by her father. The matron of honor was Mrs. Gregory Allen Wall of Durham. The bridesmaids were Mrs. Ritchie Douglas Blount of Charlotte, Mrs. Paul Andrew Honeycutt of Wilmington and Mrs. Mark Tompkins of Davidson.
The best man was the groom’s father. The groomsmen were Ronald Dennis Darrigo and Samuel Ralph Lumia, both of Tampa, and Sean McCreary of Miami, Fla.
A reception, hosted by the bride’s parents, was held at the Tucker House in Raleigh immediately following the ceremony.
A bridesmaid’s luncheon, hosted by Drew and Tina Bullard of Lumberton, was held at the Siena Hotel in Chapel Hill. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Pasetti Sr. hosted a rehearsal dinner on June 21, 2002, at the Residence Inn in Raleigh.
The bride is a graduate of Lumberton Senior High School. She received her associate’s degree from Peace College in Raleigh and attended North Carolina State University in Raleigh. She received her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She was formerly employed with Jeffrey P. Mazza, DDS, of Chapel Hill, but is now employed as a dental hygienist in Tampa.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Tampa Catholic High School and attended the University of Cambridge in Cambridgeshire, England, UK. He is a project manager and director of environmental health and safety with Electric Machinery Enterprises Inc. in Tampa.
After a honeymoon trip to Great Britain and Ireland, the couple will live in Tampa.

The bride is a graduate of Mount Tabor High School in Winston-Salem and Fayetteville State University. She is currently a medical coding specialist student at Fayetteville Technical Community College.
The groom is a graduate of E.E. Smith High School in Fayetteville and Fayetteville State University. He is a residential instructor with the Autism Society of North Carolina.
