at 2 p.m. on June 22, 2002, at Mt. Sylvan United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kathy Gore-Chappell officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Wynne of Bahama. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Schmidt of Hope Mills. The bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Harrenstein of Eden.
The bride carried a small white Bible which had been carried by her maternal grandmother and her mother on their wedding days. Tucked inside the Bible was a lace-edged handkerchief belonging to the bride’s great-great-grandmother. The Bible was topped with a cascading bouquet of spring flowers.
The bride was escorted by her father. The maid of honor was Angela Lowry of Pinehurst. The bridesmaids were Hilary Lichty of Durham, Jordan West of Raleigh, Becki Kim of Morrisville, and Jessica Wynne and Tiffany Wynne, both of Louisburg. The flower girls were Natalie Wynne of Louisburg and Abigail Harrenstein of Tiverton, R.I. The ring bearer was Lee Rodio of Durham.
The best man was the groom’s father. The groomsmen were Brad Wynne of Cary; Tim Harrenstein of Tiverton, R.I.; Jeremy Jones of Raleigh; and Thomas Leary of Greensboro.
A reception, hosted by the bride’s parents, was held at the Festival House in Timberlake immediately after the ceremony.
The bride received her bachelor’s degree in music from Meredith College in Raleigh. She is a music teacher with the Chatham County Schools.
The bridegroom received his bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University in Raleigh. He is a design engineer with Caterpillar in Sanford.
After a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia, the couple will live in Sanford.

at 5 p.m. on June 1, 2002, at Raeford Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Kevin Campbell and the Rev. Richard Vaughan officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Robert Connor Averette of Raeford and the late Mr. Averette. She is the granddaughter of Bonnie Magnum Averette of Fayetteville, the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph C. Averette and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie S. Brock Sr.
The bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hamer Britt of Raeford. The bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Britt of Rowland and the late Mr. and Mrs. George W. Parks.
The bride wore a white strapless satin A-line gown designed by Oleg Cassini. The gown featured corded Venise lace with a heavy beading of pearls which embellished the neckline, bodice, hem and chapel-length train. Her white fingertip veil was accented with rhinestones and trimmed with two tiers of waist-length illusion held by a tiara of pearl beads and white flowers. She carried a bouquet of white bridal roses, miniature roses, pink wax flowers, yellow freesia, plumosa greens and baby’s breath, all hand tied with a white brocade bow.
The bride was escorted by her brother, Joshua Glenn Averette of Raleigh. The matron of honor was Vanessa Roberts Harris of Oxford. The bridesmaids were Elisabeth Larson Averette and Amanda Hope Branch, both of Raleigh; Heather Britt Glass and Amy Newton Hawkes, both of Raeford; Elizabeth McNeill Hodgin of Shannon; and Sarah Catherine Plummer of Wilmington. The flower girl was Hanna Elsa Mowes of Raeford and the ring bearer was Kyle Matthew Britt.
The best man was the groom’s father. The groomsmen were Richard Kirkland Bailey III of Kennesaw, Ga.; Mark Andrew Britt of Fayetteville; Preston Westcott Burgess of Wilmington; Kelby Tyson Glass and Richard Eugene Jones, both of Raeford; and Jeremy William Taylor of Rocky Mount.
The wedding was directed by Elizabeth Burgess, Linda McLeod and Susan Phillips. The wedding musicians were organist Mrs. Marvin Lynn Maxwell, trumpeter Mac Malloy and soloist Miriam Ropp McNeill.
A reception was held at Gates Four Country Club after the ceremony for family and friends. Hosts for the reception were the bride’s mother, as well as the bride’s mother’s family — L.S. Brock Jr. of Raeford, Mr. and Mrs. Charles D. Averette of Fayetteville and Mr. and Mrs. Murray Alford of Lumberton.
The bride received her associate’s degree from Peace College and her bachelor’s degree in animal science from North Carolina State University in Raleigh. She is employed in technical support with TarHeel Turkey Hatchery of Raeford.
The bridegroom received his bachelor’s degrees in physical education with a concentration in sports science and in criminal justice from Chowan College. He is employed with Pinehurst Resorts Inc. of Pinehurst.
After a honeymoon trip to Aruba, the couple settled in Raeford.

at 6:30 p.m. on May 4, 2002, at Haymount United Methodist Church in Fayetteville. The Rev. Dr. Brian Gentle officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hildreth C. Gore Jr. of Fayetteville. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Hildreth Calhoun Gore Sr., the late Mr. Gore and the late Mr. and Mrs. Grover McFayden Cashwell.
The bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Michael D. Miller of Spokane, Wash.
The bride wore a two-piece gown styled by Maggie Sottero. The strapless bodice was heavily embellished with Swarovski crystals and beads. The gown featured a full skirt with an asymmetrical drape with crystal embellishments on the inset panel. Two wide panels extended beyond the sweep train and were embroidered with beads and crystals. The ensemble included a matching stole and purse. Her fingertip veil featured a rattail cut with white satin cord edging and was sprinkled with pearls and crystals. She carried a bouquet of white roses, stephanotis and ivy.
The bride was escorted by her father. The matron of honor was Leigh Ann Marks of Myrtle Beach, S.C. The bridesmaids were Jacqueline Nicole Lloyd of Washington, D.C.; Kathryn Allison Pollard of Raleigh; Hilary Vivian Bentsen of Austin, Texas; Lorna Hazel McNeill of Fayetteville; and Joy Michelle Haynes of Richmond, Va. The junior bridesmaid was Cara Alexander White of Fayetteville. The flower girl was Cierra Rose Cowan of Waukesha, Wis.
The best man was Jason Robert Hrinda of Charlotte. The groomsmen were Marco Jacques Hilhorst and Christopher Lee Knowles, both of Raleigh; Dewey Allyn Coerper III of Greensboro; Brian Daniel Miller of Spokane, Wash.; and Charles Greer Gatten of Franklin, Va. The junior groomsman was Cameron Bennett White of Fayetteville.
The wedding was directed by Jennie White. The wedding musicians were organist Judy Aycock, trumpeter Geron Gambill and soloist Nikita Shah Pace.
A reception, hosted by the bride’s parents, was held at the Fort Bragg Officer’s Club immediately following the ceremony.
The bride received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a concentration in Marketing from North Carolina State University and her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Fayetteville State University.
The bridegroom received Bachelor’s degrees in Chemical Engineering and Textile Chemistry with a concentration in Polymers from North Carolina State University. He is the Process Group Supervisor with Resinall Corp. in Severn.
After a honeymoon trip to Malta and Rome the couple settled in Suffolk, Va.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim N. Tripp of Lumberton. She is the granddaughter of Sarah Carter Sibley of New Bern, the late Maj. Warren Crapon Sibley Jr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee Tripp.
The bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Tony Pasetti Sr. of Tampa, Fla. He is the grandson of Ramona L. Alvarez of Tampa, Fla., the late Manual Gerald Alvarez and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Gregorio Pasetti of West Tampa, Fla.
The bride’s dress was of candlelight Duchess satin and featured a bodice embellished with crystals, pearls and sequins, a Basque waist and a cathedral-length train. The fingertip veil was held by an original sterling comb accented with crystals and seed pearls. The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of ivory roses.
The bride was escorted by her father. The matron of honor was Mrs. Gregory Allen Wall of Durham. The bridesmaids were Mrs. Ritchie Douglas Blount of Charlotte, Mrs. Paul Andrew Honeycutt of Wilmington and Mrs. Mark Tompkins of Davidson.
The best man was the groom’s father. The groomsmen were Ronald Dennis Darrigo and Samuel Ralph Lumia, both of Tampa, and Sean McCreary of Miami, Fla.
A reception, hosted by the bride’s parents, was held at the Tucker House in Raleigh immediately following the ceremony.
The bride is a graduate of Lumberton Senior High School. She received her Associate of Arts in Science degree from Peace College in Raleigh and attended North Carolina State University in Raleigh. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She was formerly employed with Jeffrey P. Mazza, DDS, of Chapel Hill, but is now employed as a dental hygienist in Tampa.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Tampa Catholic High School and attended the University of Cambridge in Cambridgeshire, England, UK. He is a Project Manager and Director of Environmental Health and Safety with Electric Machinery Enterprises Inc. in Tampa.
After a honeymoon trip to Great Britain and Ireland, the couple will live in Tampa.
