The bride is the daughter of Lt. Gen. and Mrs. Clark Griffith. The groom’s parents are Myrtle Grace Hodnett of Goldsboro and Mr. and Mrs. Carl D. Hodnett of Dudley.
The bride was escorted by her father. The maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Margaret Griffith Brissette of San Antonio, Texas. The bridesmaids were Wendy Ferguson Sullivan of Kitty Hawk and Sherry McMillan Hambright of Jacksonville. The honorary bridesmaids were Deborah Hodnett Callahan of Fayetteville; Carlene Hodnett Botkin of Las Vegas, Nev.; and Dana Hodnett Sasser of Honolulu, Hawaii.
The flower girls were Parker Jane Brissette of San Antonio, Texas, and Taylor Elizabeth Sasser of Honolulu, Hawaii. The ring bearer was Taylor Christian Brissette of San Antonio, Texas.
The best men were the groom’s sons, Tyler Cole Hodnett and Justin David Hodnett, both of Raeford. The groomsmen were Billy Eugene Sasser of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Bruce Wayne Botkin of Las Vegas, Nev. The ushers were Matthew Zebediah Callahan and Daniel Jeremiah Callahan, both of Fayetteville.
The bride is a graduate of Eastern Wayne High School in Goldsboro. She received her bachelor’s degree in secondary education and English from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. She is a contract specialist with Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
The groom is a graduate of Eastern Wayne High School in Goldsboro and the University of Maryland. He is a key account representative with Pepsi Bottling Ventures, LLC.
After a honeymoon trip to Amelia Island, Fla., the couple settled in Raeford.
