The bridesmaids were Margaret Blair Alligood of Fayetteville; Kathryn Shields Carter of Whiteville; Karen Rowland Early of Durham; Nicole Buffkin McLain of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and Heather Ellen Buchanan and Ashley Sherrdan Williams, both of Raleigh. The child attendants were the bride’s niece, Sara Scott Thompson, and the groom’s nephew, Benjamin Lee Kirby.

The bridegroom received his bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s degree in management from North Carolina State University. He is a founder and vice president of marketing of Poriva Technologies.
After a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, the couple will live in Raleigh.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Andrew Davis Jr. of Napanee, Ontario, Canada. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Herman Bullard, the late Mr. Bullard and Mr. and Mrs. James Davis Sr., all of Fayetteville, N.C.
The bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Michael Evans Wilson of Wilson. The bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Perry of Danville, Va.; Mrs. R.E.L. Wilson of Wilson; the late Mr. Wilson; and the late Patte Evans Wilson.
The bride wore a diamond white Paloma satin gown with a tulle overlay. She carried a garden arrangement of sweet peas, gardenias, ranunculus and roses.
The bride was escorted by her father. The maid of honor was the groom’s sister, Natalie Evans Wilson of Wilson. The bridesmaids were Paula Rachael Juels and Carole Porbeck Wilson, both of Little Rock.
The best man was the groom’s father. The groomsmen were Emmett Bowers Chiles IV of Little Rock and Kyle Ryan Johnstone of Aspen, Colo.
The wedding was directed by Sally Shy of Memphis, Tenn. The wedding musicians were Beth Luscombe and a string quartet.
A reception, hosted by the bride’s parents, was held at the home of the groom’s parents immediately following the ceremony.
The bride graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Hendrix College in Conway. She received her juris doctorate degree from William Bowen School of Law in Little Rock. She is a deputy prosecuting attorney with the 6th Judicial District in Arkansas.
The bridegroom received his bachelor’s degree in English and political science from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, and his juris doctorate degree from William Bowen School of Law in Little Rock. He also is a deputy prosecuting attorney with the 6th Judicial District in Arkansas.
