Margaret Helen Jones Wall, 90, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2009 with her family by her bedside. Margaret was born on September 5, 1918 in Johnston County to the late Lemuel Turner Jones and Mary Ansel Evans Jones. She graduated from Pine Level High School in 1939. On December 25, 1940, she married the love of her life, William Henry Wall. Mrs. Wall faithfully attended the Capital City Church of God. Together they provided a wonderful Christian home for their children and grandchildren. Mrs. Wall was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at L. Harold Poole funeral service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545 with Pastor John Smith officiating.
The Wall family will receive relatives and friends immediately following the service.
A private burial will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at Raleigh Memorial Park.

William Kearney "Doc" Baker and Minnie Herman Pearce Baker. Lucille retired with 28 years of service as an accounting clerk with the NC Department of Vocational Rehabilitation.

Raleigh - Doris Gail Mason Carter, 80, of 2301 Doran Place, died Monday, January 26, 2009 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Doris was born in Knightdale on October 6, 1928 to the late Nerious Royal Mason and Lillie Macon Williams Mason. She graduated from Knightdale High School. She married the love of her life, Henry Carter. Through their 60 years of marriage, her love for her husband and family was a testimony to her life.
