Our Mom worked hard all her life starting with the FBI in 1945, retired with the Chatham County School System, and for the past nine years has enjoyed volunteering at Chatham Hospital. The past four years she received honor plaques recognizing her hours of dedication. She loved her family more than words could ever express and we all felt that love, but even more than that she loved her church. Her faith was so strong and true that it helped us in letting our loved one go to her final home. Her hobbies included baking wonderful pound cakes and sugar cookies for everyone she knew, working in her yard and embroidering. Even though she was ready to leave us here on earth, her steadfast and never changing faith has made this journey a little easier. We will miss this wonderful person.
