She was preceded in death by her mother, Bertie M. Cooper Miller Bohanan, father, Shannon Miller; sister, Edith McClure; brother, Jack C. Miller.
She is survived by her husband, Caney S. Lundy; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Dale Lundy of Gastonia; daughter, Rita Lundy of Ranlo; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and David Killian of Gastonia; son, Robert `Ben' Lundy of Dallas; granddaughters, Amanda Guffey, Deanna Smith, Peaches Lundy, Alisha Lundy, Christy Jones, Codie Jones, Susie Boyd, Stephanie Gardner; 2 great grandsons; sisters, Gladys Abernathy of Hickory, Leatha Johnson of Ranlo; brother, H.K. King, Mary Harper
WEST COLUMBIA - Graveside services for Mary Harper King, 96, of West Columbia, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Celestial Memorial Gardens, conducted by Philip T. Harrison. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington.
Mrs. King, widow of the late Marion King, died Sunday, August 13, 2000. Born in Darlington County, she was a daughter of the late John Franklin and Loudonnie Coward Harper. Formerly of Charlotte, NC, she had been a resident here since 1969 and was a member of Platt Springs United Methodist Church. She was retired from J.B. Ivey's Department Store in Charlotte, NC in 1969.
Surviving are her daughter, Louise C. Rushing of West Columbia; her son, Evans B. Cox, Jr., of Mt. Holly, NC; her sister, Ola Brigman of Laurinburg, NC; her half sister, Betty Talbert Denham of Florence; her half brother, William Harper of Cheraw; 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Jones, Anthony Larry
Mr. Anthony Larry Jones, 48 of Charlotte, died Sunday morning, July 30, 2000 at home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday, August 2, 2000 at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, 4431 Old Monroe Road, with the Reverend Scott Casey officiating. Interment will follow the service at Crown Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7-8:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mr. Jones was born March 2, 1952 in Raleigh to Hyman and Eva Mae Jones. Larry had spent the majority of his life there as a maintenance administrator for Bell South before he and his family moved to Charlotte to finish out his career. While in Charlotte, he attended Mecklenburg Community Church. He loved the beach, the mountains, fishing, working in his yard, but most of all his beloved wife and children.
His survivors include his wife, Karen Jones; his children, Tracie Jones and Tony Jones, both of Raleigh, Chris Jones and Amanda Jones, both of Charlotte; his step-son, Daniel Lambeth of Raleigh; his twin brother, Barry Jones of Garner; his sister, Paula Casey of Clayton; and by four grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to either Hospice at Charlotte, 1420 E. Seventh St., Charlotte, NC 28204 or to Mecklenburg Community Church, 8335 Browne Road, Charlotte, NC 28269.
Arrangements for the Jones family are in the care of Heritage Funeral Home.

Beaver, Michael Lee
LINCOLNTON - Mr. Michael Lee Beaver, Sr, age 44 of 3594 Gladden Dr., died Saturday, July 29, 2000.
Funeral is 11 A.M. Tuesday at the Bright Light Tabernacle Church in Hickory with Pastor Ray Young officiating. Burial will follow in the Catawba Memorial Park in Hickory. His body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service at the church. The family will receive friends Monday from 7-8:30 P.M. at Warlick Funeral Home in Lincolnton.
Mr. Beaver was born on May 8, 1956 in Cleveland County and son of Carl Lee Beaver and the late Hattie Chitwood Beaver. Mr. Sullivan worked for Custom Frame Shop as a frame builder. He was a well respected and accomplished crew chief and car owner in local Nascar short tracks racing series.
Survivors include his wife, Vickie Beaver of the home; one son, Michael Beaver, Jr. of the home; one daughter, Jennifer Coffey of Maiden; one brother, Larry Beaver of Lincolnton; three sisters, Donna Newton of Vale, Debbie Goodwin of Conover, and Denise Lopez of Maiden; one stepson, Steven Jolley of Scottsburg, VA; three grandsons.

Sullivan, Robert Marshall
LINCOLNTON - Mr. Robert Marshall Sullivan, 81, of 3755 Hwy 321 South, died Saturday, July 29, 2000 at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
His funeral will be 3 P.M. Monday in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ron Haithcock officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:15 PM until 2:45 PM at Warlick Funeral Home prior to the service.
Mr. Sullivan was born on October 7, 1918 in Union, SC to the late Joseph H. and Nancy Steen Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan was a retired supervisor with Mohican Mills. He was a World War II Army Veteran and served with the 263rd Infantry Division.
Survivors include: wife, Bobbie Kiser Sullivan of the home; one son, Mike Sullivan and wife Joy of Charlotte; one sister, Shirley Moss of Granite Falls.
