FAISON -- Mrs. Callie Lee Justice Oates, 74, of 11340 Suttontown Road died Saturday in Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.
Mrs. Oates was a member of Bethlehem Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. She worked for Burlington Industries in Mount Olive before retiring.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Royal-Hall Funeral Home chapel by the Revs. Durwood Fisher and Paul Rose. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park in Goldsboro.
Mrs. Oates is survived by two sons, J. David Oates III and J.C. Oates, both of Faison; a sister, Sudie M. Sutton of Turkey; a brother, R.C. Justice of Clinton; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home of J.C. Oates, 11388 Suttontown Road, Faison.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Faison Rescue Squad or to Bethlehem Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
Maggie I. Clark (Dated Monday, November 8, 1999 )
LUMBERTON -- Ms. Maggie Ivey Clark, 91, of 111 Cherokee St. died Saturday in Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Floyd Memorial Chapel by the Revs. Johnny Chavis and Phillis Bollinger. Burial will be in Hickory Hill Baptist Church cemetery.
Ms. Clark is survived by three sons, William D. Haggins, Joseph Clark and Willie R. Clark, all of Lumberton; five daughters, Josephine Haggins, Carolyn Hardin, and Jeanette Freeman, all of Lumberton, Nancy Thompson of Hope Mills and Mary Locklear of Pembroke; 81 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and 38 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory.
Nellie R. Clamp (Dated Monday, November 8, 1999 )
Mrs. Nellie Ruppe Clamp, 79, of Fayetteville died Saturday in Carver Living Center in Durham.
Mrs. Clamp was a member of the Eastern Star.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in LaFayette Memorial Park.
Mrs. Clamp is survived by a son, John C. Clamp of Durham; two sisters, Ester Batton of Burton, Mich., and Edith Sholtz of Laguna Niguel, Calif.; and a brother, Charles E. Ruppe of Duluth, Ga.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
William McNeill (Dated Monday, November 8, 1999 )
The Rev. William McNeill, 74, of 6514 Portsmouth Drive, Fayetteville, died Friday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
The Rev. McNeill was the founder and pastor of Liberty Temple Church.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Wiseman Mortuary chapel by Pastor Pauline Daniels. Burial will be in Daniel Temple Church cemetery in Raeford.
The Rev. McNeill is survived by his wife, Letha McNeill of the home; three daughters, Nettie M. Brown and Laura A. McNeill, both of Fayetteville, and Mary T. McNeill of Tulsa, Okla.; six sons, William H. McNeill, Will A. McNeill, James H. McNeill, David C. McNeill and Samuel L. McNeill, all of Fayetteville, and Richard J. McNeill of Darlington, S.C.; three sisters, Bessie M. McArn, Prunell Monroe and Maggie L. Covington; 28 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
The public will be received today from 1 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

ERWIN -- Mrs. Martha Beasley Faircloth, 58, of Erwin died Sunday.

Ollie Floyd dies at 103
FAIRMONT -- Mrs. Ollie Carr Floyd of 703 S. Walnut St. died Saturday in Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She was 103.
Mrs. Floyd was a member of First Baptist Church.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church by the Rev. Mark E. Gaskins and Dr. Thomas L. Rich. Burial will be in Floyd Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Floyd Funeral Services.
Mrs. Floyd is survived by a son, Lynn F. Floyd of Fairmont; a sister, Naomi Parker of Fuquay-Varina; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 8:30 at the home of Lynn Floyd, Rowland Road, Fairmont.

Olive Harold Mathews, 75, of 6009 Ramsey St., Fayetteville, died Friday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Mr. Mathews worked in the civil service at Veterans Affairs Medical Center before retiring. He was a member of Masonic Phoenix Lodge No. 8.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Magnolia Baptist Church by the Revs. Casey Welker and Adam Hatley. Burial will be in LaFayette Memorial Park.
Mr. Mathews is survived by his wife, Willadene A. Mathews; three sons, William Matthews of Kansas City, Kan., Vincent Matthews of Marietta, Ga. and Donald Matthews of Parkton; two daughters, Regina Masouras of Stedman and Janet Johnson of Fayetteville; four brothers, David R. Matthews of Lakeland, Fla., Hubert Matthews of Roseboro and Wesley Matthews and Curtis Matthews, both of Stedman; three sisters, Juanita Thompson of Rocky Mount, Jane Deeson of Lakeland and Phylis Naylor of Godwin; and six grandchildren.
